Fricken lies.... it says anonymous, no one needs to know, we can give you a prescription for meds... I mean that's why were online spending 400 bucks rite? so our anonymity is protected. but nope, I tested 1.1 for hep-c... okay, I'll call and get a prescription rite? "nope we can't do that", "you need to go see your Doctor"; if I wanted to see my Doctor that's what I would have done in the 1st place; and a lot cheaper to boot, I have insurance that I didnt want to use to keep anonymous... not a happy camper; I mean I get that I should see my doctor, but Hep-c is curable nowday's and a few weeks of pills and another test might just do the trick. Bottom line, if you think you actually have a good chance of having something turn up positive, you might as well cut out the costly middle man and go to the Dr. because that's what your going to end up doing anyways. Now I have to go to the Dr., Pay my 120.00 copay and who knows what other embarrassment I'll have to endure. My idea was that I was going to avoid the $120 which made my $400 full boat of testing more reasonable... now I'm stuck paying both. in my opinion I was mislead and lied to by STDCHECK. Thinking abut it... their reasoning was that I will need follow-up care... well what positive result wont necessitate follow up care? What kind if prescription will these people actually write for you? Aspirin?
