While the tests are great, they started sending advertising through the same notification channels as the test results. There is no way to separate them from legitimate contacts. Completely unacceptable.

I recently tried to use STDcheck.com for confidential STD testing, but the experience was extremely frustrating and disappointing.
First, the map and listed lab locations on their website were incorrect or outdated. The address/directions provided didn't match the actual lab site — it either didn't exist at that spot, was closed, or was significantly different from what was shown. This wasted my time driving around and made the whole process unreliable right from the start.
When I contacted customer support to report the issue and request a change or cancellation, the response was terrible: slow, unhelpful, and dismissive. They offered no real solutions for the location error and basically treated it like my problem.
Because the lab location they advertised wasn't accurate/accessible, I had no choice but to cancel. Despite the issue being on their end (faulty map/info), they still insisted on charging a 20% cancellation fee per their policy. This feels unfair and predatory — why penalize customers when their own location data is wrong?
Overall, the service promises convenience and privacy, but inaccurate info + subpar support + stubborn fees make it feel like a money grab. I won't be using them again and would caution others to double-check lab details independently before purchasing.

Registration was straightforward and quick. A number of local testing sites were available. The test lasted only six minutes, and I had my results by the next day. A highly recommended experience.

they were great, i used them for years, but then they turned horrible. I asked their employee - if their doctors could prescribe what i was looking for, without an in person consult. they said "yes" and so i booked, then the doctor got on the phone, said i had to be seen in person first. and they refused to refund my consult fee. Then after 3 different tries, they finally refunded what they legally had to based on misinformation given to me by their employee. and refused to do anything for the hassle and time i spent on it all. What a joke. They say that the prescription was at the doctors discretion, no, the doctor said they could not prescribe until i had an in person visit. I will be taking my 5 years of business somewhere else than deal with a company that has shitty policies like that. and tries to hide behind the policies as if they didn't create them that way.

The scheduling and testing are reasonable. However, the site mentions in a couple of places that positive results can be reviewed with a doctor ... they omit to say that it is for an additional $95...

Was told results come back within a couple days then told if you test positive and you need to speak with a representative about your results that it would be an additional $95. That is an absolute rip off. I asked for a refund within minutes of purchasing their service and was told they were going to charge me a 20% refund fee. Why would there be a 20% refund fee when its an online service and they have not provided any service whatsoever. I agreed and they said they would process my refund. Its now beem almost 2 weeks and no refund has been issued. I call them to ask about the refund and they state "we don't handle refunds over the phone you have to text a 1-800 number" I have never heard of a company not being able to have a physical conversation by phone to process a refund and require you to text a number to ask questions about a refund. This company is a complete joke and lack customer service.

When I spoke to the phone rep and told her that I needed the results ASAP she said it normally takes 1-2 days but for an added fee of $49 the results would be in 12-24 hours and I could contact them after the lab work was completed. I did that but was told that any “partial results” would be by 12-24 hours but it would not move my samples to the head of the line. I spoke to the lab tech and he showed me on his computer that on test took 2-4 days. The ad by this company is a lie. When I ask to speak to a manager, the response was that a manager would text me in 12-24 hours. DO NOT USE this firm!

Update. The results got back in the two days I needed and without paying the extra fee. I have upgraded the star review but I am highly annoyed at the misleading info and poor follow up.

I arranged an appointment spent $70 in a taxi only to be told at the centre they sent me too that they don’t do blood work at the lab so be they couldn’t help me
The lady at reception then told me it was my fault not there’s because I should have called them in advance to check !
They won’t answer my emails when I use the chat service they tell me to email , they run you around in circles , do not trust them !!
They have now been in contact , but never offered me an apology or to pay my taxi,
also think (if you’re still reading by this point ) a mark of a unprofessional poorly run company, is how they respond on here to open complaints like this, let’s see if they respond.

Awful, awful, awful!!!! Just order the tests yourself via Quest Diagnostics portal. They take your money via phone but will ONLY talk to you about results via text. WHO DOES THAT???? Not to mention, do NOT order the HIV RNA TEST!! The blood specimen was perishable by the time Quest Diagnostics received it and I had to wait 5 business days to find that out. I ultimately ordered the HIV 4th Generation Test via Quest myself with the assistance of this company. Got the result the next day. this company created more anxiety than getting tested in the first place. STAY AWAY from this site!

It won't work for me and I need certin ppl to know what is going on. It's frustrating because most sites are only for Australia and I am in the USA. So so frustrating

Too much up sale marketing and makes canceling an order difficult and takes 20% to do so. There's better options for tests they seem to just middle man and be all about the money grabs

I am a Veteran that had a horrible experience purchasing and refunding the service which was first purchased by my partner . The online service Sarah stated that I would be able to enter code at the end of my payment process which never happened after purchasing the service . The fact that it happened over a holiday weekend put delay in contacting them and their hours to even speak to a live person and they only wanted text conversations. Their tactic proved to to push their 5 day return policy to get it to not get the full refund that puts 20% less than original payment . I feel their deceptive practice is a buyer beware and should look for another service if possible. I did even escalate it to a supervisor of course texting and she came back with same stating 20% 0ff orders past 5 days and un refundable after 21 days if not used.

I bought a test panel based on the location of a provider they listed in my area. Turns out that the provider is not actually there. I discovered this less than a day after purchasing. They would not refund my money without taking out 20% for doing absolutely nothing and false advertising.

Check their BBB links on their website. None of them work. Also, check all of their review links - they take you to places you cannot leave reviews.

"Horrible experience. My first time trying this. My last time. I waited 20 minutes on my one hour lunch break after arriving on time for my appointment at 1:30 pm. THEN I step outside due to a coughing fit and I get a message saying my appointment is ready. ONE MINUTE LATER I walk back in and my LabCorp technician had already moved on to the next person. I knocked on the door and asked if my name was in fact called, they said yes but could not assist me until later because they already moved on to the next person. Within literally 2 minutes. I asked to speak with a manager and they informed me that there was nothing they could do. This is unacceptable considering the price I paid. Just to be told I can only receive 80% of my money for an appointment I couldn't even go to. ON TOP of the clinic only being open during the hours I work 8 AM to 5 PM. This is why people walk around with STD's and not knowing their make it their job to make the process extremely time consuming, wasteful of money, and expensive. In the future, I plan on going to an urgent care like everyone else. Worst experience ever 1/10. Too expensive, unprofessional staff, and not empathetic."

I would not recommend this company. They claim to provide results in 1-2 days and I paid to expedite the results and receive them as they came in, 4 days later I’m still waiting for almost half of my test results. By 1-2 days they mean business days so weekends don’t count apparently, and I was also told some tests take 2-4 days and I couldn’t find anywhere on the website that states that. When I complained about paying more to get results right away and asked to be refunded for the additional charge, 3 different people refused and the 4th one issued a 50% refund. The phone number that is provided is to text only you can’t reach anyone by phone to speak with a live person. The website also states they are available at 6 am CST and that’s not true either they aren’t available until 8 am. Overall I’m dissatisfied with this experience and will not be using them again.

I placed an order here before I found a local health clinic that could see me the same day. So the next day I cancelled the order via phone call and agreed to the very high cancellation fee. 3 weeks later I still did not receive a refund. Called back to be told they no longer discuss cancellations verbally and I would need to text them. After a text chat scenario, I was told that the cancellation was processed and that she would follow up with billing to release the funds. That tells me they don't process refunds automatically as they say they will (and should). Rather they wait to see if the person forgets about the refund so they can keep as much money as possible. I cannot say how the they are if you follow through with testing, but I can guarantee you that you do not want to cancel an order with them!

Testing took 45 minutes, not 5 as advertised. Results were still listed as pending after 4 days, not 1-2 as advertised. Oral and rectal swabs were not performed, meaning 80% of potential infections missed for LGBTQ people. For this reason I had to order additional testing. After I shared this feedback, customer service refused to refund my $187 charge (including fees) and only offered a $25 credit. Not worth the money.

Incorrect medication prescribed by “consultation”. Obvious mistake by provider who would not hone up to it, inaccuracies provided by “support”. No refund opportunity though prescription not received, only “solution” was to pay for another “consultation”. Just a FYI-their company policy for a “consultation” is simply for a “provider” to send you a prescription. You never actually speak with anyone before they fire off a potentially incorrect prescription and pocket your money. Never again. DO NOT TRUST.

Fast and as a person with thousands of things to do time is important loved the quickness I also am a producer so I had music to make would recommend to anyone and make sure you guys stay clean!

Quick, easy, and simple. I was extremely pleased and happy with the professionalism, ease of access to my results and updates, and the overall experience. I will definitely be using this site from now on for all of my testing.
