I have had nothing but problems with…
I have had nothing but problems with Splend staff. Firstly there staff I have dealt with have proven to be incompetent in conveying clear information, therefore being misleading. I applied for holiday for one week. Had staff tell me thats fine and that it was processed. I then pressed on with the trip only for another Splend colleague to tell me it hasn't been processed. Then telling me I need to pay while im away although there staff advised my holiday was booked.

Hi Simon,
We’ve reviewed your case and can see where things went wrong here.
You were initially told on the phone that your payment holiday would be booked, but this was not processed. The following day, the same request was assessed against eligibility criteria and marked as not eligible due to previous failed payments and a high-risk score. This is why you later received a different outcome.
The issue here is the inconsistency in communication - you were given confirmation before the request had actually been reviewed and approved. That should not have happened, and we’re addressing this with the team to prevent similar situations going forward.
As outlined previously, payment holidays are discretionary and subject to eligibility checks. Where there are exceptional circumstances, we can review these on a case-by-case basis with supporting information. Outside of this, weekly payments remain due in line with the contract.
We understand this situation impacted your plans, and the experience has not been clear or joined up. We’ll continue to review how this was handled internally, particularly within the customer service team, to improve consistency in communication.
