Our delivery failed twice
Our delivery failed twice - on the Monday because apparently 'the road was blocked' and on the Wednesday because the 'lorry broke down'. When we phoned to complain explaining that we are elderly and actually had no oil we were informed that the next day delivery was 'full' and they 'would try and fit us in'. We were not happy at all with this service and asked for refund of the premium we paid for an early delivery which didn't happen - eventually oil delivered on the Thursday

We’re very sorry for the inconvenience you experienced and understand how frustrating this situation must have been, particularly given the circumstances you describe. Unfortunately, unforeseen issues such as access problems and vehicle breakdowns can occasionally disrupt delivery schedules, but that doesn’t lessen the impact on you when you’re left without oil.
We regret that your delivery did not take place as planned and that the communication around rescheduling did not meet the standard we aim to provide. Your feedback has been noted and will be shared internally so we can improve how situations like this are handled in future.
Great company to deal with
Competitive prices. Delivery always exactly when promised and usually sooner. Delivery driver delivers quietly and goes with no fuss. Extremely pleasant and helpful if you have to phone.

Great service
I have used Southern Energy (previously Local Fuels) for many years, they are always reliable and prompt in their deliveries. Their prices are in line with the competition and often the best on comparison web sites so I no longer bother looking for alternatives.

I am a regular customer and can highly recommend for best prices, excellent service and quick to refund if I over order. The drivers are especially helpful as access is via a single track lane.

My first order. Online site worked well. Delivery was painless even down my narrowish drive.
My only small gripe was no tighter delivery time provided in the delivery email so I had to be prepared to wait in all day. Even an am or pm indication would be helpful.
The delivery staff were great by the way.

I would have given it 5 stars but I did not receive the promised email notification. It was delivered on Bank Holiday Sunday when I was entertaining visitors in the garden so not at all convenient.

Driver was very rude on delivery day would not go up the track because they sent oil in the bigger truck, I could understand the problem for him but there was no need for his rude altitude,oil was delivered next day in the smaller truck that they normally send different driver very polite not problem
