I ordered a 4 door mirror sliding door set from Sliding Robes on 6th Sept on a very easy to use web site,giving the size of the opening.
Paid in full and they gave me a delivery date of 3rd Oct.
On the 3rd of October the doors were delivered by a very nice driver who told me had left Leeds at 3am to drive to my house in Cornwall.
I have fitted the doors and am delighted with them.
My builder saw them and said they were just what he was looking for ,so took the web site details.

Absolutely great service!! Delivered exactly on the day they said at the time of order. Top quality and couldn't fault any part of the service. Will definitely use again if we need bespoke, made to measure doors.

Excellent comms before ordering, I asked a lot of questions to make sure I was getting everything right.

5* Delivery
The delivery guy was absolutely lovely, very helpful, and carried 6 x 2.2m glass doors right up to the lift doors (I live in an apartment). He should get a bonus.

3* Quality
Doors arrived, with no screws or fixings, no pre-drilled holes in the track, the track was 'a standard length' and had to be cut to size (it was metal, it needs more than a hacksaw to get a good finish), the cantilever track I specifically asked for wasn't included, and I could see some of the small components behind the doors had been cut to fit.

All of this (not the last point) was explained away when I contacted them, but none of it was mentioned to me before spending the 2k.

3* Overall
Because of all the above, and having to pay a joiner a second time to come back once I had all the parts, they get 3*. Do they look good after the install? Well yes, because I have an amazing joiner who's a real craftsman.

No, I don't want to change my review. Like I said, my issues were explained away by the supplier, and that doesn't make it okay. None of it was told to me before ordering, especially in light of specific questioning around it. I did raise all my concerns by email, prior to this review.

Received doors a few days ago and all spot on…doors look great…service was great and the delivery drivers were excellent…a small point on the website that it’s not always clear what the different colour options will look like however, would definitely use them again

Easy to use and our doors are looking great. I did call to ask about the measuring process - a friendly & helpful response on a Saturday morning! Would recommend this company.

When I first considered buying sliding wardrobe doors on line I was a bit apprehensive, I was concerned about the measuring, would I get it right? and about delivery, would they be delivered damaged ? I need,nt have been concerned, the advice given on measuring were simple and clear and delivery was quick , doors were well packed. They were very easy to fit, it only took a couple of hours and they look fabulous. I highly recommend Sliding Robes Direct.

Ordered 2 sets of sliding doors and we are extremely pleased from order through to delivery. We were kept informed at all stages, delivered on the original agreed date - delivery driver went above and beyond.
We will definitely use again should the need arise.

The doors arrived after 2 weeks, but the wrong ones were delivered AND the ones delivered were broken. We were offered redelivery which would take a minimum of 2 weeks but no refund on the £60 delivery cost. If we cancelled the order, we STILL wouldn’t be given the £60 refund on the delivery. Waste of time and money, and no wardrobe doors to show for it.
EDIT: in response to their reply - a hollow apology doesn’t make up for sending the wrong doors and still charging £60 for a delayed delivery and inconvenience. The third party costs are not my problem when you sent the wrong doors. Decent companies will refund the delivery as a courtesy at the very minimum!

I bought two made to measure budget range mirrored wardrobe doors to replace an old pair. They were delivered in 4 weeks (as I was told) and I had an email & phone call to arrange delivery time. I fitted them in a few hours, which included removing the old doors and tracks. The new ones have a much simpler roller mechanism than the old ones, making fitting really easy. I'm very pleased with the quality (even though described as budget they're much stronger than my old ones) and they look fantastic. They've really improved the look of the room.

Most probably the worse company I have dealt with, ordered four doors and associated frames, all arrived apart from the tracks, so left doors in their protective covering so as not to get damaged while we awaited tracks, tracks arrived 2 1/2 weeks later, on unwrapping doors two were completely wrong style and two were damaged, contacted company who agreed to exchange doors, another 2 1/2 weeks later two doors arrived to replace the two wrong ones but no replacements for the damaged doors, again contacted the company who were now refusing to exchange damaged doors as I hadn't opened them within 72 hours of initial receipt, apparently it is all my fault. !!!!.

In response to your reply it was not an act of goodwill that you sent the tracks free of charge, you forgot to send them in the first place and were notified by e mail within 72 hours of delivery so you had no choice but to send them as it was your mistake suggest you check your delivery date and my e mail and get your facts correct.

Poor Buying experience. I ordered white glass doors online but when my acknowledgement came through, the finish had changed to mirrored. I contacted them immediately and explained that i had ordered white glass, not mirrored. I was told that i had to pay an extra £50 for the change, which i reluctantly did. It was confirmed the doors would arrive within 3 weeks.
3 weeks later i chased the doors and was told they would be another 2 weeks.
Finally the doors arrived and guess, what, they were mirrored!
On complaining i was told to send proof they were mirrored and not white glass. Eventually they agreed to swap them and we had to wait a further 2 weeks.
So 8 weeks later, we finally got the correct doors.
No fitting instructions and all the metalwork has sharp burrs on both doors and tracks which i had to file down as someone could easily have torn a hand or foot on them.

Not impressed and wouldn't use again.

I was ignored the whole 72 hours and then was told I couldn’t report it as you’d responded to late. There was no good will gesture. You offered to collect the doors at a considerable cost to myself and if you found no fault which you would have as your so certain you have a good standard of workmanship I would have also lost that money. What sort of care is that for your customers? The photos show otherwise. I declined the after sales due to this as I’ve already paid over £1000 for wonkey cut doors, broken glass and poor workmanship. You may tell yourself you’ve give excellent service however I know different and so so many others that have wrote a review on your outrageous after sales service and workmanship. Darren is also RUDE!!!!

The online ordering process was both informative and easy in terms of choice and advice whilst Darren offered excellent telephone support when needed. The doors were delivered quite quickly and arrived very well packaged and without the usual transport 'Scars'.
Having fitted the doors yesterday (very easily) my wife and I are incredibly happy with their quality of manufacture.

These doors have been great. We have had them for over 4 years now and they have looked and performed brilliantly.

I am a trained carpenter and have fitted many similar products but thankfully the ones we got for home through slidingdoorsdirect are the best I have fitted.
Installation is straight forward and the runner tracks well made. The range was very good and in particular allowed us to have more choice in the higher door variety. With a stylish finish that looks smart allowing you to get that extra bespoke look at reasonable pricing.
I recently had an issue with a runner wheel so i spoke to the team and they sent me out a new wheel unit to replace. 4 years on this is just excellent service and I cant recommend them enough.

Received my sliding doors on time today and the doors are better than I imagined, the quality of the doors are top drawer as my fitter who fits different doors from a few suppliers agreed. I would recommend this company, these guys know there business inside out, thanks sliding robes direct.
