No one contacted me about my up coming laser treatment I paid for a package and had 2 left and paid £1000 and you said to another person you found out on the 17th why did you book me in for the 20th of August at th clinc you done my treatment on the 17th and did not offer me a refund or book me in at another clinic you just stole my money and left me the long process of trying to get it back

Fantastic Service

the initial consultation was a joke
the initial consultation was a joke. the "doctor" had not read the form I sent in advance and had to ask me why I was there . When I said "milia removal " she asked how I know they were milia which was ridiculous as I was there for her advice. i think the inital "consulation " was just a way of them charging more money.
I left after the procedure looking like I had come out of a war zone with no proper aftercare instrucitons.

Be fully aware over pricing before you commit
This is an aggregated review of Sk:n as there are similarities with my experiences over time, the latest being on 28th August 2023.
I have given sk:n over 3 weeks to address my concerns but without reply.
Overall Sk:n seem to cover all the bases so you’re likely to find a solution to whatever treatment plan you might need, so full marks for that.
They offer high quality of treatments backed by extensive experience of their medical and clinical teams which is very reassuring.
I’ve been to Epsom, and latterly Guildford and the Staff at Reception are welcoming and professional.
On the plus side, once you get through some of the logistical challenges of dealing with Sk:n the main challenge that I have repeatedly experienced is establishing clarity over costs.
They will claim that in terms of costs, and using General dermatology pricing as an example, consultations start from £110, which is clear.
However, treatment costs, which despite some itemised cost tariffs (which are outlined on their website) aren’t always clear.
This is where I have experienced problems and having had the prescience of mind after a short assessment and before starting treatment enquired what the costs would be.
The costs given were (much) higher than I anticipated so declined to take this further.
Had the treatment started without me asking this question I would have, de facto, been committed to pay.
Like many businesses these days, where there is a branch network of offices (or in this case Clinics), and the drive to have some centralised function to coordinate appointments and other admin issues is, at face value, a good idea.
However, this also has to benefit the customer/client and in the case of Sk:n this, in my experiences, is questionable.
I have found that using Sk:n’s centralised system very frustrating.
Many, like myself, like to forge a relationship with their local Clinic but finding a direct line or e-Mail addresses isn’t an option.
I had to take time out to drive to ski:n Guildford to establish the finer detail, which was successful.
Overall Sk:n do offer a professional treatment and service but will be looking elsewhere in the future.
