What does it feel like to know you'll never have that dreaded horseshoe hairline? Well, it feels very special I can tell you. I finished my final, 3rd session 3 days ago with Geraldine @Skalp in Dublin and I'm absolutely thrilled with the result. At 51, I just had a quite thin tuft of hair at the front and it was all gone on top. Due to my age, I went for a bit of a receded-type look but with all the missing top part & tuft area filled in and blended with the hair on the back and sides. It looks brilliant and is fantastic for my sport. As many videos say: weirdly, no one in work etc has noticed. They just think I shaved my head.
Geraldine was a real professional right from the start. She has a real passion for what she does and has such energy and enthusiasm. You'd never think that she's done it hundreds of times and her genuine joy for you at her finished work is wonderful. Her advice and guidance all the way was second to none too.
As regards the procedure, it is a bit painful but I'm sure pain levels differ and there are options such as a numbing gel. I didn't go for that though. Any bit of discomfort is worth it for the long-term gain and it doesn't go on too long and there are breaks. Don't be concerned about how dark it seems after a few days when the redness settles. It's normal and the colour goes down and blends in after a few more days.
You will love it. I haven't looked in the mirror this much since I was a teenager! Don't delay. Seriously, if you're thinking of it, just go for it and don't waste a year deliberating like me. A new, younger looking; more confident you is just an email or call away.

Excellent service from start to finish. Skalp were very thorough, explained every step of the process and responded to my queries and concerns. I'm delighted with the result - in fact it turned out much better than I expected. Initially, I was hesitant about this type of treatment but now I would highly recommend Skalp! My head was bald on top and on my crown. I went to Manchester and the lady who did the tattooing of my head did an amazing job. It's amazing. I can't believe how good it is and how good she is.

I had a great experience at Skalp. They took care of me from start to finish, throughout the whole process. I had a video consultation to begin with, where I was able to ask any questions or voice any concerns, and get all the information I needed. The sessions themselves were relatively painless, and I felt very looked after, and had a nice chat with my clinician Vinny. I was delighted with all of the results and aftercare, and would definitely recommend this service!

I would like to highlight Sabrina the Scalp Practitioner at Skalp Manchester. She made me very very welcome and made the whole process very relaxing and enjoyable. I looked forward to every session and it made the whole process that made more enjoyable. Sabrina is really the best at what she does. She takes time to get the best hairline for you and works with your face shape. Leaving you with the best hairline .

I can’t recommend Skalp enough!

I was so impressed by the treatment and care I got at Skalp, and Kristy was so lovely that each 4 hour session seemed to fly by. You have to be patient with the 5-6 process but I was very happy with the end result and will definitely continue to get it topped up in the future when it fades.

Vinny from skalp in London was truly excellent. I’ve just completed my third treatment. If you are thinking about this I would seriously recommend it. The results are truly excellent. Vinny is incredibly proud of the work he does and takes great care to give you the best result he possibly can. He will listen to the type of result you are trying to achieve. As a 54 yr old, I was looking for something consistent with my age. He really delivered. Top guy as well.

Iv just recently had a touch up at Skalp in London and the technician was very professional and made me feel at ease.The procedure was about an hour and a half and it went quick due to chatting about hobbies and the up and coming weekend but before I knew, it was over and I was really happy with the result, if any one was interested in having SMP done I would not hesitate telling them about my experience and where I had it done.Thank you SKALP

Had my touch up today with Vinney, was a great experience as it was on my first trip to Skalp, from the first call with Jason to completion today everything is so professional and I’m really pleased with my results, can’t recommend Skalp enough.

I could not recommend Skalp high enough. The SMP process is a scary idea for some, but through the amazing team at Skalp, who talked me through what was going to happen calmly and expertly, I felt prepared and confident that I was in the right hands.

Vinny, who did all of my SMP sessions, is a seriously skilled operator, who really knows his stuff and I am delighted with the final result and just feel so much more confident and happy as a result.

SMP with Vinny was a breeze! He is so experienced and professional it completely eased any concerns I initially had about looking like a Lego man. I’m so happy with the subtle look that Vinny has achieved. Wish I had done this sooner.

Sabina in Manchester was absolutely incredible. I spent four years hesitating and studying options across Europe for my case and trying to understand if there were people experienced with cases like mine (light hair/skin and merely requiring some additional density that would look natural). I cannot be happier for having chosen Skalp in Manchester, despite having had to travel from abroad for each session. After a first discussion with Jason, I was convinced; Sabina amazed me at every session with her skills and the end result is truly incredible.

I had a really good experience with Vinny, he was attentive, explained the process (and payments) and took his time to understand my needs. The results are great and I'm very happy that I started with a 'less is more' approach - as you can always darken / add more in later sessions. The place was clean and easy to find - it would help to have a more professional sign at the buzzer and directions once in the building :)
