Used Jamie's previous company shutters of London 2022 & got totally ripped off.. Don't touch this company or any other company he has..

SCAMMERS - AVOID BUYING FROM THEM. THEY ARE CON ARTISTS

Claudine Baker and Jamie or James Anderson’s are scammers. Do not buy blinds or shutters from them. Check there history. They take your money and close the business down. Be carefull

WARNING MASSIVE SCAMMER. Jamie Anderson (b.March 1984) is a wholesale con artist. In the last 8 years he has set up 6 Shutter businesses. Only 1 is currently solvent. Although I suspect it will go the same way as the last 5.

He regularly takes deposits and then never intends to fulfil orders. He has been taken to court. But none of this prevents him wrong continuing to close down businesses and start again.

He must be brought to justice, otherwise others will be conned by the fake reviews they read on google. I am so many others were made to pay c.£3,500 and never saw the shutters despite numerous "attempts" to deliver them. I waited at home on several occasions for "this is the day they are being fitted" with no delivery or installation to take place. I wasted so much time and stress over this man and his fraudulent operation.

PLEASE DO NOT USE HIS BUSINESS.

This company is a scam. I was conned out of £3500 and never received the blinds. Their director history on GOV UK shows frequent changes. Claudine BAKER and Jamie ANDERSON are scammers and should be prosecuted. Stay away from them.

Scam artists Claudine Baker and Jamie Anderson run this company. Do not pay them a deposit under any circumstances.

Warning. Your money is at risk. The owners just dissolved their company Shutters of London limited after taking money of many customers without delivering shutters. Now they have opened this new company looking to rip off more people.
Jamie Anderson and Claudine Baker have done it to many people using different companies over few years.

Do not use this company. Look on Companies house and see how many businesses Jamie Anderson and Claudine Butler have run and ripped people off. He's stolen thousands and thousands of pounds in people's deposits and he knows how the system works ( as he's been coming people for years) so he knows exactly how long to keep giving you a sob story so it buys more time, until you cannot claim a refund back and have no option but to either press charges or get the police involved. He's threatening narcissistic bully, bullys single mums, grandmas and the vulnerable, he has even messaged my son threatening him ( not very clever) he will turn on the waterworks to make you feel sorry for him, then threaten you with violence , he has done this to many people. Shutters of London ltd was his previous company now he's just bought Simply Blinding out of dormancy. I put my shutter order in on October 2023

DO NOT USE! Stole thousands from me, told a pack of lies, still no blinds or refund. Placed order in November 2023, and still waiting. Takes a huge deposit, trust me you won’t see that money again or your blinds.

He (Jamie Anderson) seems to set up a new company, or reactivate an old/dormant company, every few years...when 1 of them go bust! He resigns from several and puts Claudine Baker in as a director, here and there, I guess in an attempt to distance himself? His last one Shutters of London ended up owing thousands of pounds to people, the address has defaulted to companies house as it went bust and he hasn't filed his accounts. So now he's got away without paying any of his customers, and reactivated an dormant company called Simply Blinding, to start all over again. It's 'simply' something...and disgusting that they can keep getting away with it. You only have to search companies house with his name to see the trail of destruction. Please read reviews on all his companies to see the issues. Please note that many of his good reviews are apparently friends/family, reviewing on his behalf to improve results.

SCAM ARTIST! Took £900 off my elderly mother in-law in jan 24 & still haven’t delivered. Excuse after excuse, then all communication stopped! They take deposits & run! I knew Jamie personally so didn’t check up on him as I thought he was a nice guy! But I was wrong! This was through his other company SOL but he will do the same now under this new company! Avoid at all costs.

The people that run company still owe us and many others hundreds of pounds for shutters promised and never delivered. Seems to be their thing to start companies, take people’s money, and then shut the company down. I wouldn’t trust any of the good reviews unless you want to be fobbed off and ignored, and no blinds delivered! Avoid them!!

Order not fulfilled despite payment made!
I ordered shutters through Jamie Anderson and Claudine through Shutters of London over 8 months ago costing around £900. Despite repeated assurances that they would install the shutters they never did and now the company has folded and this new company is set up. Beware!!

Complete con artists. Jamie Anderson and Claudia Baker deserve to be in prison. They owe ££££££ to a lot of people and the positive reviews are FAKE. Simply Blinding is run by the same scum bags who ran Shutters of London. Avoid at all costs

Avoid at all costs!!! This is the new company for the owners of shutters of London Ltd who have conned dozens of peoples out of £1000’s and will continue to do so!

Do not believe the fake positive reviews and simply search shutters of London to see the real truth the owners Jamie and claudine are not to be trusted and will continue to lie to people and take their hard earned money without no intention of actually supplying any goods as they have done to several people I know personally

We were really impressed with Jamie and the Simply Blinding team from start to finish. We had regular updates about our order and they arrived and were fitted within the timeline we were given. We have had shutter style doors added to our built in wardrobes and a cupboard under the stairs which look amazing and we love them.

What a fantastic company to work with . Jamie came around measured and when he came back to fit there was no problems at all . They look beautiful. 🤩
