Do not waste your time with this…

Do not waste your time with this company! Contacted them to purchase the blond wig and asked for the roots to be dyed ombre black they agreed and I paid.
The first appointment to install the wig, I noticed the wig was not dyed at the back, and I complained. As the stylist spoke no English, another lady appeared and talked me into having it installed, informing me it would look better on. After installation I still wasn't happy and spoke to the so called manager on the phone who said to go home take the wig off, and send back to them and they would re-dye the wig.
What I experienced after that was a comedy of errors. On my return install visit, the wig that was previously blond with black roots was now grey, and yet they let me travel up to Dartford for the fitting knowing the colour wasn't the same. I erupted as this company has had my money since July and we were now in August!! Again a member of staff appeared promising to put things right.
The 3rd time I was invited to come up to Dartford for an install, I asked for a picture of the hair as I was not happy to get there to find the colour incorrect again! I received the pic and again the wig was dyed incorrectly and was an orange type shade!! I couldn't understand how the staff could not see that this was nothing like the colour I wanted or originally paid for, the original wig was coloured correctly but just not at the back, how could they now be dying the hair all types of colours except for the colour I want? The salon conceded they weren't skilled enough and refunded my money, minus £70 I paid to have the wig installed on my 1st visit. On complaining I was told, I was happy with the install and they have paid the stylist. I basically paid £70 to go to Dartford and sit for 2 hours to have the wig installed, then travel home and take the wig off, oh and then go to post office to return the wig to them!! Altogether a waste of my time and money!! I've been going around in circles since Jul and still havent received my £70!!
Do not use this company, the owner is based in Nigeria and does not care about customer service or customer satisfaction they only care about taking your money!!

Great density for the wig but not worth the money

Great density for the wig but not worth the price I paid for customisation. The bleach from the bleached knots bled into the hair itself on top leaving brassy orange roots. Quite disappointing considering not only the price but the pictures presented on social media. Adding the customisation the basket also was a hassle. I would’ve sent the wig back if I could and I wasn’t pushed for time.

Waste of money

I couldn’t believe what I actually received! It was very patchy, hardly any hair! They obviously do this to save on costs or whatever!. I requested a refund within 30 minutes after my package arrived obviously the product hadn't been used but they refused. Spent a long time going back and forth with them. Long story short got my money back after putting through a complaint with Klarna.
Avoid this company like the plague! Awful hair and awful customer service!

The hair is the worst quality hair I’ve every gotten !! Avoid at all costs. Customer service is horrible as well. I’m convinced they only care about giving influencers good quality wigs.

Waste of money! I'm tired of these hair companies

I have been looking for a nice wig for ages, so when I came across this site I was like let me give it a go based on the reviews on their site...BIG mistake! Huge mistake! I purchased a fringe wig which looked sooo cheap i was upset. I paid over £100. A waste of money. It wasn't even human hair it was thin with tracks missing. I didn't even end up wearing it. Please Avoid and save your money. Seriously I don't know what's up with these companies these day. They just want your money and don't care about their customers at all.

Hair never arrived and was refused a refund

Ordered some hair and was told a time frame of 2-10 days. This was not met and I was having to contact them via Instagram and email almost everyday to try and get updates on my order.

When I didn’t receive my hair for the first event I had planned, I held on so that maybe it would arrive for the next- a holiday.

No sign of the product and no update.

I wanted to cancel my order and was told I can’t as it is ‘being processed’ this ofcourse means it hasn’t arrived in the UK (it was stuck at customs) which is valid and does happen. However, I was being told I couldn’t cancel an order that hadn’t been fulfilled and wasn’t eligible for a refund as per their policy.

After being told the hair would arrive on multiple different dates, I researched consumer law and had to send the relevant laws relating to this matter.

Only after tagging the on my Instagram story to call them out did they issue a refund.

If you do but form here or any hair store, message first to see if they have what you want in stock. Otherwise you could be waiting a very long time.

Amazing hair, amazing install, reliable

I purchased a 5x5 closure from Silq Mist and got it installed in the salon. The hair quality is amazing. Clare did my install and honestly I super appreciate the meticulous attention to every detail. Amazing hair, amazing install, on time, reliable and beautiful salon.

For the money I expected better

When my wig arrived I thought it looked and smelled gorgeous. I was slightly surprised that the hair was not the same colour as in the picture but I still liked it and thought it was worth the £350 odd I paid. Once I put it on I was surprised to see it was massive on my head. I have literally had to cross over the straps at the back to get it to fit and not fall off. The frontal had black knots that were pretty visible and because the wig was too big the sides actually went over my ears! I had to cut the sides and remove some hair to get it to fit. Nonetheless I still thought wig looked good. After a couple weeks wearing it the hair has become very dry and split endy. Also where it is stitched together back to the middle at the top is visible without alot of fiddling. Basically I think overall for the money this wig is not what it should be. I don't think I would buy another from Silqmist

TERRIFYING COMPANY, POOR QUALITY

Absolutely shocking hair to say the least. I ordered one of their bodywave wigs, it came wild and messy, rough in texture, choppy thin ends, clearly a mix of different length bundles which is not what I wanted. The hair is also shedding quite bit despite only having it for a day.

Literally save your money!!!!

I saw the reviews on trust pilot and thought I would give them a chance and support a black business but I was shocked at the quality and the audacity of these babes thinking this is ok to sell. Literally terrifying.

And you have the brand owner on social media flaunting home ownership /expensive items, like HA! Amassing this amount of money by refusing refunds for SUBPAR products is not fair or just but it is well. I love to see a black woman winning but not at the expense of other black women. So I do not support this brand of business at all. Take your coins and go to London Virgin Hair or Capelli Amore. Their prices are higher but the quality is really good.

Hopefully I’ve saved someone from buying this hair.

Any company that doesn’t have a proper refund process due to claiming the hair is “fresh and new just for you” is a red flag.

if the hair is returned untampered with in a suitable timeframe then a proper refund should be issued. Claiming they don’t offers refunds due to health & safety is a bag of 💩 because how many hands has your wig been in before it gets to you 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I’m sure they couldn’t even tell you so where is the quality control around how many people handle your product before you receive if they’re such big advocates of health & safety. Shampoo exists does it not? Telling me you cyaa clean the hair before selling it again 💀 goodbye

Honestly ladies/gents Please do not waste your coins because if you don’t like it, (which you won’t) they will only offer you store credit which is laughable simply due to the fact the products are clearly not up to standard so why would I want to make a second purchase 😭💀 make that make sense.

No point even responding to me either, the hair is shocking, the company is shocking. STEER CLEAR 🤍

BURGUNDY ‘KIM’ WIG

Bought the burgundy wig and it wasn’t as it seemed on the site, frontal is shedding and going bald, wig doesn’t even fit properly comfortably, it’s a pull and tug situation, awful! I’ve worn it once for like a week and my hairdresser said the hair is trashy and frontal needs to change already, knots didn’t seem bleached either, for the big price the wig cost ain’t worth it one bit, why price cheap hair wigs so high don’t get it, you can get better quality elsewhere for cheaper, big waste of my money.
Tried to support, but I must say I’m extremely disappointed with this black owned business, the wig was meant to be 180 density and feels like 150, just thin, hair vendor needs to change, wouldn’t recommend them to anyone and won’t be purchasing ever again.

Not virgin Hair

Hair quality:
I am sad to say that I am extremely disappointed with the quality of the hair and even more disappointed to say that the bundles I bought do not appear to be completely virgin hair, it seems to be mixed with synthetic hair. I bought 2x18 inch and 1x20 inch bodywave = £260, I had a professional stylist make a wig and style it on my head and when she started to curl the hair it instantly started to burn, which meant we had to cut some of the hair. I can assure you, the heat was not excessive and the burn was not caused by the stylist. Furthermore the hair does not hold a curl as the curls only lasted the 30 mins that I drove home in the car. This has left me with a wig that I am unable to style with heat and I am now having to look at alternatives for the engagement I need the wig for.

Customer service:
Prior to ordering the hair I had a few questions and I called twice. The lady who managed the phone line was extremely polite and provided very informative answers. Once I had ordered, I was notified by Yasmin that one of the original bundles I had paid for was no longer in stock and I would be refunded the difference immediately (which I was). It’s such a shame that the quality of the hair has let me down because the customer service is exceptional.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM HERE, HAIR IS BAD QUALITY. HAVE BEEN LEFT WITH PATCHES FROM HAIR FALLING OUT AS ITS SO CHEAP AND THE FRONTAL IS SO POOR. MESSAGED THEM ABOUT THIS AND SAID THE PLUCKING WAS DOWN TO THE HAIRSTYLIST? WHEN THE MISSING PATCHES WERE NO WHERE NEAR THE HAIRLINE?!
