I moved to SG from a large accountancy firm where I felt like a number and didn’t receive the tax planning advice I needed. After some initial teething problems, I requested some changes to my service and SG were very accommodating and even replaced my account controller with a new staff member. Since then Kerry who now handles my file has been nothing but exemplary. She is always attentive and available to provide clear and informed advice. Her friendly telephone manner and willingness to answer any question however basic or complex is an asset to SG. Huge thanks to Kerry for navigating me and my limited company through what felt like a challenging situation. I feel like I am in safe hands.

I have been a customer of SG for over 8 years. I initially asked them to setup my company, manage the incorporation, register for VAT etc and all of that was done efficiently and included getting a Business bank account in place. Since then I have used SG for my accounting needs related to my company (payroll, VAT submissions, annual returns etc) and the contracting service also includes my personal return being calculated and submitted. I have always found the staff to be very professional and have always come back to me with detailed answers on any queries that I had through the years. Highly recommended.

I've changed accountants a few times due to various issues I.e. not being able to get hold of anyone, unreturned calls, ambiguous responses etc. The service I've had from SG both as a Ltd co and an umbrella has been expectional, I can't recommend them highly enough, a genuinely professional service.

SG accounting have a superb team who make the whole world of accounting seem really easy, they have great knowledge and are extremely passionate about customer support. I've used them before when I was contracting and didn't hesitate to use them again, top top team.

If you're looking for an accountant who handles your affairs (from accounts to personal tax returns, yearly reports and review of financial position...etc), very professionally and with genuine trustworthiness, then SG is the one for you. Had flawless service from them for over 2 years now and I don't think I will be going anywhere else anytime soon!!

New to the contracting business, I was recommended to SG Accounting by my niece who has used them for years.

Right from the first contact I was impressed by their professionalism. Their on-boarding was very well organised. They seemed to know exactly what to do and when to do it, making sure the contractor had the best possible advice.

The one-hour one-to-one consultation with a senior accountant was a revalidation. They carefully walked me through all the services they offer and told me what to expect from them. Their expertise and knowledge were very reassuring.

I first met Richard Murray in a different accountancy firm in 2013 when I started contracting. He did a really good job of helping me understand how everything worked and couldn't have been more pro-active in setting everything up.

When he moved to SG Accounting, switching company was a no-brainer. He has always held quality of service over quantity of clients, something which rings true across SG.

Understanding how things actually work and what the rules are really helps, I still have to hide a grin when contractors talk in the office. So many remain unaware of the facts and make incorrect assumptions based on office gossip.

They're also really nice social people (humans), they hosted an evening in London late 2018 on tax updates, contracts, IR35 and wealth management. Strangely enjoyable sessions followed by an evening in the bar. Having talked to a large number of the Team in and out of the office - these guys really shine.
