Avoid this company...
Firstly let me say that if there was the opportunity to give this business zero stars then I would have done that, one star makes the company look much better than they actually are.
From the start it became obvious that my opinion or input into the staging of my property was given zero consideration, I had tried explaining by email and over the phone that the property was very small and it needed to be staged in such a way that it didn't look or feel claustrophobic.
My concerns were dismissed offhand and I was treated as if I didn't know anything and they knew best.
Obviously that wasn't the case as when I went to inspect their staging it was glaringly noticeable that they really had limited ideas of how to stage small spaces.
The unit was so cluttered with large furniture pieces that it was difficult to move around properly.
For example on the small balcony they had put a 7 piece outdoor setting which whilst only possible to get past it sideways on one side, it looked quite ridiculous in its space.
Similarly in the kitchen it was difficult to move, let alone try to cook with the size of the dining set they had put there.
Bathroom styling? - pathetic is probably the best adjective to use...
It seemed that whatever turned up on the truck, they put in the space, they admitted they had never even seen the space before, so no wonder it was a dogs breakfast inside.
Obviously some damaged bedside lamps were on the truck, so they got used too..
Adding to that they dinted two of the walls in the second bedroom whilst installing furniture.
They tried to deny this but the unit had only been recently painted and there was NO damage to any walls...They tried to tell me that all damage had been rectified....No it hadn't - what a lie, and what a sad reflection of this business...
Sell in Style had to return after removing the staging as they had damaged the walls again when removing the furniture, such care taken...but I suppose if you damage something on the way in you might as well damage it on the way out.
No apology given, I guess they just didn't care.
Take my advice, do not use this company, no doubt they will try to go into damage control when responding to this review, please disregard their response, it will be a feeble attempt to discredit my review - what I have said is accurate, don't trust Sell in Style and never use them.
