Completely useless. Loophole-ridden and a blatant cash grab.
This app completely fails at its core purpose. The whole point of a lock-out app is that you cannot bypass it until the timer ends. Unfortunately, this app has a massive, glaring loophole: you can just change the end-time inside the app to be earlier than the current time, and everything unlocks instantly. It defeats the entire purpose.
To make matters worse, the app feels designed to trap you into paying money:
• The $5 Ransom: If you forget your passcode, they charge you $5
-40$ to unlock the app.
• The Brick Risk: If you enable the "prevent uninstallation" feature and forget your passcode, your phone is effectively bricked. The blocked apps will stay locked forever until you pay 5$-40$.
• Anti-User Design: I tried to work around their bad design by screen-recording myself typing a random passcode (so when I block "Photos" and "camera" apps I will not be able to know the passcode untill the time is done and open the app so I won't be able to open "screenzen" and change the end time when ever i need in attempt to make this app do its supposed purpose), but they intentionally hide the keyboard during screen recordings to block this whole idea.
-Furthermore, the passcode screen stays up even after the block time has expired, which makes no sense. shouldn't the passcode be gone after time expires? It honestly feels like the developers carefully designed this app to ensure it doesn't actually work as a true focus tool. By keeping it flawed and easy to bypass, so they don't upset the massive social media and tech companies that rely on your inability to control your screen time. It's a win for them, a win for big tech, and a total scam for the user. Save your time and money.
