Scams!!! Avoid!!!!

I ordered some chocolate & sweet/candy items and was very impressed with the delivery which arrived much sooner than expected. It was also packaged very well. I would 100% buy from here again!

Very quick delivery and fantastic products. Would recommend and use again. Will be my go to for Marabou and Freía requirements…

Great customer service. My original package was damaged and returned, though they didn't automatically let me know, when I queried where it was they replied straight away. There was another delay at customs, but they let me know immediately, package arrived very well packed as usual and right at the start of the 2 hour delivery time slot. And a lovely hand written card.

Ordered for the first time at Xmas. Various items for my mum and me. Everything was very well packed. Ice pack for the chilled items too. Will be re-ordering very very soon.

I went down to the actual shop as the website said they were not now going to ship prior to Christmas.
I imagined they had most items in the shop. But was bitterly disappointed. The "shop", is a tiny room downstairs from the cafe, on the way to the toilet. About 30% of the floor space is taken up by a pick and mix sweets bar. They had only a small selection of goods there, many of the things i had hoped to buy not available. I bought a few things, and was overcharged. I pointed out i had seen the price online, and was told by the assistant they charge more in the shop than online!
It certainly isnt for the wonderful customer experience as you can barely move in the tiny shop and the assistants attitude was far from friendly.
I didnt have time to stop to go to the cafe but it seemed a much nicer place than the shop.

Been meaning to order from here for a while because they have so many goodies! Finally did and got myself some pebernødder which I haven't had in a very long time and they arrived nicely packaged up. What got me is the personal touch with a little Xmas postcard. I will certainly be ordering more often!

It would be nice to see a bit of a wider selection for Finnish things but this doesn't affect my review :)

Have made two online purchases now for Swedish goods whilst I'm in the UK. Always rapid delivery and would be lost without them!!

Originally order some Norwegian food items through an online agency which tiny selection. Arrived well packed with nice card from person who packed it. Noticed that the items came from SkandiKitchen checked company online to realise it was the original shop/cafe that we frequented a number of time many years ago.
Checked more items day before my wife's birthday and placed order there phoned as I had not shown my phone number. Very helpful, pleasant and patient Danish lady helped me over this. Explained that we had the order arrived and celebrated wife's birthday day early.
Consequently, the order arrived following day with card for the birthday in Norwegian from the Scandinavian Tram and another like card from the packer.
10 out of 5 for such a pleasant experience with personalised customer service.
I'll be ordering again in two weeks time for further replenishment.

As a lover of Leksands Sourdough Crispbreads which are a Triangular shape I was at my wits end trying to find the correct storage method for them until I came across Scandikitchen who sold the exact size tin to fit these particular crispbreads and after speaking to customer service I placed an order. The tins are cute and look great on my counter top but more importantly no more storage issues. The delivery was quick and well packed so I would definitely buy from this store again without hesitation.

My order was very well wrapped, with fast delivery and a relatively good price for the product comparing what I have seen around. I have also received a delightful thank-you note and I will definitely buy it again as I was well impressed.

Product arrived quickly. Easy to order and good communication throughout. Great range of products. Sell by date on one thing was a bit short (less than two months from arrival) but was planning on eating straight away anyway.

Love love love this shop. I order online from their website as well but it's nothing like actually going there in person. In person you can go in and buy the traditional open sandwiches and cakes which are just amazing. They have special cake and hotdog days and do multiple Semlor variations for you to try. One day I will try them all. I stop by whenever I'm down in that part of the country going to see specialists. I've tried bulk buying the sandwiches and cakes and bringing them home with me, but most of them don't survive the journey home.

The online selection is also good. I buy the gingerbread dough every year for Xmas and you can get quite a good selection of their products in Ocado now. I also have the cookbooks and have tried quite a few of the recipes, but tbh I still think visiting the store and trying their food in person is the best experience and I look forward to it every time I go.

I’ve used this company a few times and the customer service is excellent! Always arrives on time and packaged well. The last delivery I ordered I selected the wrong delivery service and emailed them, it was sorted asap and shipped to me quicker. Excellent and will continue to use for future Danish goodies

really disappointed as I ordered 4 big 400g bags of salty licorice which are meant as gifts for later this month ... Which were received yesterday and have about a month's shelf life.. Best before 16/04/2024
These are great as they are very salty licorice...so You wouldn't eat loads of them in a sitting, so I expected them to last and not to be sold old stock.
I was advised that I could send these back for a refund and to order closer to when I needed them (these are to go in hampers and should last longer than a month.. Plus they're sweets... Never thought they'd sell me old goods)
No offer of them paying for return postage.
Please be careful if ordering.

I have used Scandi kitchen for many years and theyhave always been excellent, however my recent experience has been poor at best. I ordered goods which arrived badly damaged and with an item missing. When I emailed to complain I was told that they didnt feel the goods were badly damaged so would give me a 50% refund on one of the goods broken beyond use and nothing for the other as these things break in transit. Everything I have ordered in the past has been excellently and thoughtfully packed on this occassion everything had been ramed in crushing and damaging two items. If good are missing from an order I would have thought that a replacement would be sent as I had also paid postage and packaging. So very sad to see what had been an exceptional company go down the drain. I have questioned their decision however not received a response which is also sad that they would just dismiss a loyal and long standing customer.
