It was a bit hard to get through the process at first because of a glitch in the system. All good the money was in my account in minutes.

I’m fairly new to Salary Finance, and I have only used their pay advance service a couple of times so far. It’s been really handy to be able access some of my wages ahead of time when an unexpected expense crops up, and not too expensive to do so! It’s quite a straightforward process too, and the money appears fairly quickly in my bank, so I’m not waiting around! A very useful service in a pinch!

I had a loan for 12 months, and tried to pay it off early by one payment. On 2-2-24 I spoke with an agent who happily took my early payment to payoff the loan. When I checked the next day, it did not pay off my loan, but immediately reflected an overpayment in the amount of the payment. My final payment still came out of my paycheck on 2-15. My loan still shows as open with a zero balance and no more payment schedule. Their reps now say that because of the overpay, it will take 30-60 business days to process a refund and then as soon as the check is issued they will close the account. 60 business days is almost 3 months. What a scam. They never answer their emails. The service reps say no one at the company has the power to intervene in this situation since it is all part of the automated process. BULLS___!! Where is the interest on my overpay?

Update on 3-5-24: finally responded to my email and cleared the paid off loan. However, confirmed the refund will have to be processed as normal. Very hard company to get in touch with. When you call, you are transferred to what sounds like an international line, and it sure sounds like the agents are working at home (background noise and such).

I am an Illinois state employee and this company's loan products were marketed to state employees through my state's HR/benefits agency (IL Central Management Services), as well as a 3rd party benefits administrator (Corestream).  I took out an installment loan in July 2023 to cover some home remodeling expenses.  Payments are deducted directly from my paycheck. Dealing with this company has been a nightmare.  As of early December, after making multiple additional payments, I had paid off 74% of the loan, putting me months ahead of schedule to pay off this loan.  There have been a number of documented "payment processing" and "operational" issues. The first issue resulted in a scheduled payment not happening...and a 2nd issue resulted in two loan payments being deducted at the same time. There is no way to schedule additional payments through the company's online account dashboard - meaning you need to contact the company directly when you want to make additional payments.  Likewise, no Payoff balance is available through the online dashboard, either.  Lastly, there is no breakdown available of interest and principal. In November, 2023, the company began making unauthorized ACH debits from my checking account by using the same account information that I had used to make multiple extra payments on the loan.  Lastly, and most importantly, I have made several requests, via company email, for my payoff amount, and the lender has been completely unresponsive.  I sent an emails on 1/16/24 and 1/17/24.  As of 2/1/24, there has been no response from the company. And, like other reviewers have mentioned, customer service is pretty bad and response times are painfully slow.

This is my second loan and the experience was just as wonderful as the first time. It's the ease of providing the documents and the end results is like me having a scoop of my favorite ice cream at Baskin Robins. 😄

The application process and loan payout are fairly easy to navigate and straight forward. After paying off the loan early, the company still continued to take out another loan payment, which they claim is common practice. More than 7 business days passed and I never received a confirmation email that my loan was paid off and satisfied. It appears that this loan company is predatory.

Easy to understand instructions from beginning to end. Easy setup of financial payment processes. Abundant level of support options.
