Huge thanks to Marcella Moeller at Saks in Palm Beach Gardens, FL

I would like to thank Marcella Moeller, a Sales Manager at Saks Fifth Avenue in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. I had tried to find a dress for my son's upcoming wedding at that shop, but had no success. I did however find 2 that I liked online and purchased both. After 4 weeks I still hadn't received either dress. I contacted customer service twice, but neither representative was able to provide any further information on the location of the dresses. At that point, I went back to the local Saks store and explained the situation to Marcella. Even though the dresses were purchased online, Marcella was eager to help and completely took over. I received one of the dresses 2 days later, and the other 4 days later. She went above and beyond anything I would have expected, and I totally appreciate her help!

Disgraceful and broken business - AVOID. They steal your money.

The company isn’t just slow or unresponsive, they are behaving like thieves. I ordered an item, was sent the wrong item (an item that was so absolutely random — different garment, brand, size) and I was informed by customer service that I would not receive my original item nor a refund! I was simply robbed with only bleak options for any contact at all. You can’t even reply to the customer service email. It’s unmonitored. A disgraced, broken business - AVOID!

Good Riddance Saks

Good Riddance Saks. They wouldn't accept a return for exchange for an item that was tarnished, nor did they offer to have it cleaned. No wonder they went belly up.

No one works here

They have a phone number but no one answers. They suggest texting (a major company to get a response?) and their representatives constantly state they are looking into your request and then they end the chat. Not worth it - this is NOT a luxury retail experience.

Terrible customer service

I have been a Saks customer for over 35 years and I have never had such a bad experience as just happened !
I visited Saks in Bal Harbor, Florida where I have been living for the past 4 years and ordered a shoe that I wanted in my size to be shipped to my address in Florida.
Instead the shoe was shipped to an old address of mine from 5 years ago in NYC!!!
I have tried to speak to someone in charge at Saks but all I got was an operator after another who submitted my claim more than once and it was rejected again and again! I don’t know what they base their decision on but I know no one in the higher decision making is taking care of this issue. Saks refuses to credit me for this shoe that I never received!
I am so disappointed in Saks!
I will never shop there again and I’ll make sure no one I know will ever do either !!!

Had to contact them because I was charged for two items that I bid not order. They could careless . No one spoke English and they were very rude . There was no desire to resolve the issue . I understand why they filed for bankruptcy.

BIG MISTAKE DO NOT ORDER ONLINE

Made the big mistake of ordering something online which I thought would fit. The item did not fit. They just shut down our local SFA, so I had to send it back. I received a timely email verifying receipt of the item. But, 18 days later, no refund. Now I will have to jump through hoops and waste my time with repeated calls to customer service trying to get my money refunded. NEVER will I buy from SFA again, canceling emails and my charge!

Horrible policies and service

Bought a bunch of clothes with a buyer. 2 of the shirts were ruined after being worn once, the brand was ISAIA and they had zero interest in trying to help. I would avoid the brand and do not trust trh store. Horrible

HORRIBLE customer service

HORRIBLE customer service. Purchased 2 dresses different sizes. Would not return the size we did not need because it was slightly outside of their iron clad 30 day return policy. Was willing to receive a store credit but that was also not possible. Have been a Saks card holder for almost 2 decades. Extremely disappointing. Other retailers like Bloomingdales offer a 365 day return policy for cardholders. Shame on Saks.

I ordered a gift for my anniversary on…

I ordered a gift for my anniversary on Thursday and has not shipped yet on the following Tuesday. No one can help me to get the item here on time or to cancel. I want to order from somewhere else however I’m afraid I will be stuck with 2 of the same items. I thought this was a top quality company but thought wrong

No surprise Saks is dealing with a bankruptcy

No surprise Saks is dealing with a bankruptcy. Incompetent customer service who does NOT understand what you are saying.
I purchased a dress online. total cost over $550. Shipping free over $300 purchase. Purchase on 4/24 Friday, Fedex the shipper still did NOT pick up the dress from somewhere in PA. Customer service is telling me it is 3-6 business days, still have plenty of time. Fedex did not have time to pick up in 4 business days? While I set up Fedex tracking for notification, since monday I received several message delivery today, Wednesday 4/29, by the end of the day. 2 incompetent companies met! Saks wants me to wait until Monday 5/4. If not received they will give me a refund.
By the way you would have to pay $9.95 for this "wonderful shipping option" if the merchandize cost is less than $300.
Saks, it will take more than reorganization of bankruptcy to make the store work. It will also take some competent staff and company policies for the customers to return and continue buying in your store. There are so many options where shipping is FREE and FAST!

1 star is too much for this company

1 star is too much for this company, by far worst company I’ve dealt with and I shop around a lot. I ordered a child’s shirt for my 6 y/o. Paid $60 ($10 for shipping) yes I know way over priced, this company is outrageously overpriced, but my AMEX give a $50 credit for Saks (Amex is stopping this in Jul because the company is such bad news). Figured the shirt is probably worth $10 and there’s nothing cheaper on their site so figured why not. I received an empty box, everything looked fine opening it but once it was open I did notice a piece of tape was torn or cut in one side. It really looked like the shirt was never in there but maybe someone cut it and pulled it out, idk. Anyway opened claim with Saks, they closed it and said no refund, that’s all they said. I called and spoke with a manager who said it was closed because they have proof it was packaged correctly and the tape was damaged by FedEx so I needed to open a claim with FedEx. I politely explained that’s not how that works, you are the shipper you insured it and you have the proof, it’s the shipper who opens the claim and you refund me or send a replacement. Well conversation went south after that when she kept refusing and said “you know how many issues we have with shipments, we don’t have the time to open claims on every package, that’s the recipients job”. So I lost it after that point. But I tried to open the claim with FedEx and they would let me open it for this type of shipment and said only the shipper can open a claim. So Amex is reversing the charge, thanks Amex! Saks might as change their name and replace the a with a uc because that pretty much sums it up.

Never received an item

Never received an item, and they insist that it was in the package. I paid $132 for this shirt that never arrived, and immediately my claim is denied. I have to take this up with my credit card company. Do not purchase from this place online.

I had a very disappointing experience…

I had a very disappointing experience at Saks Fifth Avenue. I found a shirt I really liked, and the price tag clearly showed $70, so I decided to purchase it.

However, when I reached the billing counter, the staff told me it was incorrectly priced and changed the tag right in front of me to $141. This was extremely unprofessional and misleading. Customers rely on the displayed price when making a decision, and changing it at checkout is not acceptable. Pricing errors are the store’s responsibility, not the customer’s.

What made the situation worse was the staff’s attitude. They were not polite and didn’t even apologize. Instead, they casually said “mistakes happen” and asked if I still wanted to buy it. That response felt dismissive and rude, especially given the situation.

Overall, this experience left a very bad impression. I expected far better transparency and customer service from a store like this.

Worst customer service and returns

Worst customer service and returns. I sent a return for a full refund and they sent me a store credit. I paid via PayPal and they are saying they can not issue a full refund via PayPal. They sent me a store credit. When I talk to customer service they tell me to use the store credit and do not understand that I want a full refund. I’ve never had such an awful experience with a brand before.

Never buy from Saks

Never buy from Saks, worst customer service ever! I ordered a M size Burberry Jacket, they sent me by mistake a small one and they charged me two times for the shipping; I paid for the return even though it was their fault. The jacket also was used and not a brand new! Very disappointing!!
