Last year I covered 1,905km and so I went to buy new running shoes from Run and Become a few days ago. It was such a lovely experience. I was served by a lady called Dipika and she had a huge wealth of knowledge and knew all the features from the huge selection of fine running shoes to choose from. The technology behind making specialist running shoes is so impressive. She told me she had been in the family business for 40 years and she tested my feet and running style and found the perfect running shoes for me. I’m so pleased. They are brilliant. Thank you for being so kind and for taking so much personal care. Their new store just opposite Victoria station is stunning, very stylish and fun and their customer service amazing.

I have been purchasing my running shoes from Run and Become for circa thirty years.
I visited their fab new store in Victoria just last week to be served by Michelle.
She was just so incredibly nice, helpful and made my visit to replace my running shoes a very pleasant and simple experience. I was so happy with the way she dealt with my enquiry that I’ll be returning later this week accompanied by my daughter, whom I’m going to treat to her first pair of dedicated running shoes.

Been shopping with Run and Become in store and online for years, always the best of the best when it comes to running, especially fitting the right shoes for your running style.

Very nice experience buying my running shoes in person at this shop. I was helped by a very kind and knowledgeable sales person who fetched me lots of different shoes to try and didn't make me feel awkward for not really being much of a 'runner'. They have lots of clothes and accessories too and an interesting vibe and back story.

I have bought running shoes from this shop many times, even though I live in Bristol. It is worth the trip! (located near Victoria Station so convenient if you are visiting London).
They have by far the best selection of running shoes in any shop that I have seen. In fact, it can be a little overwhelming!
Fortunately, the staff are very knowledgeable and helpful in suggesting the right shoes for my needs. They even let you spend some time running in each of the shoes they recommend and offer feedback too. I have never once felt rushed into a purchase and I often feel they go above and beyond in terms of customer service. Bravo!

I have always had positive experiences to get my running shoes fitted. The staff are lovely, friendly and super helpful as they let me try on multiple pairs until I found the right shoes for me.

After a running hiatus of several years I thought it best to get some good advice about the shoes I should buy. Run and Become is apparently an independent family owned store since the '80s so I went there. The shop assistant who took care of me was amazing... not only did I get personal attention--we worked through various fits and support options while she pulled box after box of possibilities and watched me test run the shoes right there--she was also friendly and professional. They took great care to ensure that I ended up with the very best fit and suppport for me.
In this day and age, to experience old-fashioned personal care in an actual shop is rare... I was happy to have found it and will definitely be visiting again... they have great clothing options too, for all-weather runners.

I recently bought two pairs of shoes and some accessories at Run and Become. The service was exceptional. The lady who served me took the time to ask about my recent injuries and encouraged and assisted me in trying on six different pairs of shoes to find the right match. I am very happy with the shoes. The staff are pleasant and welcoming, and this place is a veritable oasis in a world where service has ceased to be a priority. I recommend this shop to every runner that I meet.

Run and Become is the best store for running gear and advice on the right product for you.
I’ve been using them for over 20 years and their service is always extremely helpful and polite. It’s a waste of time and money buying the wrong shoes for your needs, you can always rely on them as an independent to recommend the best for you.

Went to the Victoria store searching for some specialized trainers. Angry blonde woman with glasses dismissed me as ‘not needing specialized running shoes’ and refused to help me measure my gait as advertised outside. Felt humiliated, suggest you go elsewhere.

I booked a consultation and was seen promptly on arrival.
My adviser was Suputri, and I had her undivided attention for an hour and a half, during which time I tried maybe a dozen pairs of walking shoes, and walked in each one while Suputri watched closely,feeding back to me what she saw about my gait in each case.
This was the best retail experience I have ever had in my 77 years. From now on, if Run and Become stocks something, that is where I will shop for it.

I reccomennded to my wife to visit the shop (after being to the previous premises myself) and get a personal touch to getting the right running shoe. The process was rushed and all we wanted to do in the end was to get the shoes and get out of there ASAP. Fortunately we did some research before so we knew which model we wanted. The person serving us was fine. I think it the system is at fault. The old place was much better.

My girlfriend and I had a fantastic experience at Run and Become. Ann, one of the staff members, was exceptionally knowledgeable and helped us choose the perfect pair of running trainers for my girlfriend’s birthday. She guided us through the fitting process with great care, ensuring we found the right size and explaining how to wear and break in the shoes for optimal comfort and performance.

Ann’s professionalism and attention to detail made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Thanks to her expertise, we selected a pair of Brooks trainers that have been incredibly comfortable. My girlfriend even wore them for our first 5km run together and absolutely loved them.

She now uses them regularly for both running and walking. We’re delighted with the service we received and truly appreciate Ann’s friendly, customer-focused approach. It’s refreshing to see staff who genuinely care about helping people find the right gear for their needs.

I had seen some negative reviews but nonetheless the place was recommended to us by someone I respect so we went along with a reasonably open mind.

We were greeted very pleasantly and the ladies on the desk were very helpful. We had an appointment and were on time. The assistant who helped us came and met us promptly.

My partner is a marathon runner but has a couple of physical challenges. I explained the type and frequency of running, her needs and her challenges.

The assistant, I wished I'd asked and remembered her name, properly listened and took into account all that was said.

First she had my partner run up and down I'm her existing shoes and asked various questions which resulted in her first three recommended pairs.

These were tried and tested, and the recommendations refined.

We needed both trail and road shoes so the whole process was gone through twice.

The different factors in shoe choices were discussed and recommendations made, with reasons given and explained.

Ultimately we ended up with the shoes that seemed ideal and that my partner liked and was comfortable in.

I cannot see how they could possibly have improved the experience. Polite, courteous, friendly, helpful, recommendations explanations and successful choices.

Highly recommended..

I am so sorry I did not get the name of the assistant who served us. But she was very very good. Long hair, large black glasses. Excellent.

Really bad experience.

New shop, all aggression even testosterone, all wrong in this day and age.

Staff are rushed, probably fearing sack if they don't get the shoes sold.

Lot of other better places!!
