The Pharmacist at Highland Rd Southsea who answers the phone talks very fast. I spoke to them this morning to find out when my prescription would be ready as when I talked to them last night they were closing and she was abrupt and did not give me a chance to ask this. She barely gave me a chance to confirm they had my prescription. When I spoke to her today she claims she did ask if my prescription was urgent - this did not happen. The woman barely spent 10 seconds talking to me yesterday. She claims she did, this did not happen. I am considering changing Pharmacy, this person maybe busy but this is very poor customer service and found them dismissive and rude

Appalling customer service!
Today I went into the Woking branch of Rowlands Pharmacy and was met with the worst customer service attitude I have ever experienced. Whilst trying to get to the bottom of missing medication the manager was standoffish, rude and completely dismissive! In the end I chose to walk away as her rudeness was causing the conversation to escalate and I did not want to cause a scene! To make it even worse I tried to apologise and explain my point of view as to why I was frustrated and even expressed that I was not angry at the manager and totally understood where she was coming from. Despite this I was still belittled and made to feel like the aggressor so I simply thanked the manager and wished her a good day! (What made it worse was her attitude when I asked for the manager and was met with the rudest “I am the manager” as if to intimidate me to not complain - WRONG!)
I have been so appalled by this that I have written a formal complaint to the CEO.
People visit pharmacies because they need meds and that can make them feel vulnerable, treating them poorly gets you absolutely nowhere!
I will be changing pharmacies too! Stay way from Rowlands - St John’s, Woking

Very impressed. I belatedly realised that I was going abroad on holiday in a few days time and would run out of my medication whilst away. As soon as Rowlands acknowledged receipt of my prescription I contacted them to explain my situation and they immediately fast tracked things for me. Within three hours I had an email from Royal Mail advising that my package would be delivered the next day.

Wonderful staff especially Lynne she has never disappointed me. Always helpful. Thank you

Utterly awful 3 weeks for urgent medication

Wonderful service. Lovely people, very helpful.

Told prescription would be an hour I waited one hour and 40 mins in Salford Royal. Assistant was chewing gum while talking to me .
It was total chaos no system in place

Mother’s prescription was sent to them, by the doctor, on Tuesday. Having heard nothing about it being ready, I phoned on Wednesday afternoon to see if it was ready.

I was told they received it on Tuesday but they send prescriptions out to be made up and it wouldn’t be ready until Thursday! So it was going to take nearly three days for me to get my mother’s urgent prescription!

I was asked if she needed it now and I said she did. The girl went to check if they had stock in. She came back and told me they had stock and it would be ready in around half an hour.

I then drove 30 minutes to pick it up for my mother, only to be told they didn’t have enough for one of the medications, so it was owing to her! When I expressed my disbelief and said I’d been told they had the stock to fulfil the prescription, I was told there was plenty there and she proceeded to tell me what my mother was to take! As her carer, I knew perfectly well what medication she takes each day as I administer it,I did not need to be told!My disbelief was due to the fact I had not been given the correct information on the phone and I was going to have to make another trip to collect the balance!
I have lost ALL faith in this chemist. I will be going elsewhere in future.

AVOID THE LONDON HOSPITAL PHARMACY
If I could give 0 stars I would I don’t know how this pharmacy is even allowed to operate! The staff are absolutely disgusting have no empathy for people you work in a pharmacy within a hospital have some compassion the waiting area was full, staff were in an out on their phones laughing and joking! I waited in there for 40 mins in total with my sick son who was falling asleep on the chair! They got his prescription wrong and then asked me to choose what one I would like, like I’m the doctor! And the most disgusting thing, the pharmacist went to discuss the situation with her colleague and the Asian man on the computer turned his nose up and said, I don’t care that’s not my patient! Absolutely appalling! none of them seemed to know what the hell they was doing I’m questioning if they’re even qualified. I wasn’t the only person in there that has an issue and the staff was rude to! Worst experience - resulted me to tears!

Excellent service

I could not get prescription needed as I am 64 years old but could get an useful advice of a pharmasist Mr. Tui and rear medicine prescribed by my GP. Pharmacy staff were polite, clear explained the procedure and served in a good organisational way without queues. The pharmacy is clean and well located near Poole Dolphin center Parkstone Road, 14, BH15 2 PG. I definitely will recommend to use a service of this pharmacy team.

Very poor. Rude lady behind counter. Couldn’t find my mother’s medication leaving it incomplete. So took all the medicine away she had given and told her to come back later! Great advice for a 70 year old. Idiot!

Fantastic staff, great service, always above and beyond

Very busy chemist but staff always cheerful efficient and pleasant, very helpful. Nothing any trouble.

Just love this place all the staff are so friendly and helpful.
I asked the pharmacist for some advice regarding pain killing medication prescribed by my doctors. I have been suffering from unbearable lower back pain for weeks. The conversation resulted in my pains being reduced to a level that I am able to cope with, within 24 hours.

Shocking wait. The male who served me is excellent but the wait time is horrendous. There were several females in the background working but surely they could help out when there is a queue of 15 to 20 people! Shameful.

Fantastic experience today at Rowlands pharmacy Crossgates Cupar.
I needed an emergency prescription because I was away from home.
The lady who served me was incredibly kind and helpful and bent over backwards to make sure I got my prescription..

All staff members create a lovely, warm, and welcome environment.

Tracy in particular is so friendly and talked me through how I could manage my meds more effectively. She suggested a 4-weekly dosette box which can be delivered to my home address. I decided to do this.

Subject: Poor service and long wait timeI am very disappointed with my visit today.I waited for 1 hour and 15 minutes.After this long wait, staff told me you did not have my eye drops in stock.Staff should check stock levels or notify patients before making them wait this long.This was a huge waste of my time. I expect much better communication and organization.
