Our review was just Removed we left 2024 as we names the people in the firm – But Tenants and Landlords Deserve to Know the Truth so here is a compliant one which wont be removed as honest experience. I find it very strange how they call the company 'FAKE PROFILE' and AIRCRAFT SALES - i think this is so people cant see the truth about them so they changed names and business on Trustpilot to disguise themselves!

interestingly since my last post they are showing only two employees and despite this, the website presents a much larger operation with what appear to be stock images and exaggerated claims. As someone studying accountancy and who was harrassed by 2 staff there, it’s clear this doesn’t add up – and raises serious concerns.

This is now my second attempt to warn others. my partner and i left a detailed, honest review in 2024 based on our direct experience with this estate agent. We are re-posting it here without naming individuals to ensure tenants and landlords can make informed decisions.

Our experience with this so-called estate agency was disgraceful. We were renting a flat in Limehouse via a completely different letting agent when we were suddenly bombarded – multiple calls, emails, WhatsApps and messages – from someone at this agency claiming they had taken over the property. We had no agreement, no contract with them, and never gave consent for contact. Yet the messages came daily, often up to 11pm at night NON STOP. It was harassment.

We later found out, through our managing agent, that they had obtained tenant details without permission been let go from that firm and started this Romans and Partners operation – something that other tenants in our block were also experiencing and reporting to ICO. They had reportedly taken data from a previous company and were now posing as the new agent to collect rent. We immediately raised this with the ICO and Action Fraud and are aware of others also doing the same.

The most shocking moment came when the same person turned up at our building and tried to gain access to our flat by falsely claiming there was an emergency and he was the managing agent!!! (its all on CCTV) and the conciegre gave an account of the matter. He asked the concierge to use the master key and said we approved it and he could take it for a emeragncy as the manageing agent. an outright lie. Thankfully, our concierge refused and alerted us we told them NOT to release the key. Had he succeeded, we don’t know what would’ve happened – but no tenant should ever be placed in that position.

Shortly after refusing to engage with this firm, we received notice to vacate. We believe this was no coincidence.

Since then, we’ve seen this agency rebrand, change names online, create new review profiles and try to bury negative feedback. Even their Google reviews mysteriously disappeared. The Trustpilot profile has changed names too – clearly trying to dodge the mounting criticism.

This is not a professional estate agent. It is not a legitimate lettings business. It is, in our opinion, a rogue operation.

If you're a tenant – avoid. If you're a landlord – be warned. You may be exposing your tenants to intimidation, unauthorised contact, or worse.

Harassment, data misuse, impersonation and intimidation – this was our experience. Trustpilot removed our original review, but the truth doesn’t change.

This agent unfairly deducted large amount of deposit for very minor issues. Even for bulb change, removing cups and ridiculous minor issues which can be rectified in minutes with furniture polish.
Surely landlord needs to cover some minor wear and tear in between tenants, especially as rent is excessively expensive.
They Had to be reminded several times to return the deposit before acting on it!!
Tenant is usually requiring deposit fast so accepts the outcome to avoid delays. This agent should be ashamed of themself for exploiting tenants financially by defrauding them of their deposit. !!!

Maj and his team has been great at managing my property as well as exploring other investment options. Sincere and genuinely great service. I highly recommend.

I first met the owner of Romans & Partners when he was a junior negotiator at agency and based on that past connection, I decided to give him an opportunity to let my modest flat in E14 after we reconnected in Singapore. Initially, things went smoothly. However, issues began when he launched a new company had entered administration, raising sering sering serious concerns about continuite and accountability.
I also noticed that a large number of critical reviews on Google had disappeared, which seemed unusual. Although no contract was signed for the revised terms, and l accepted a better offer through another agent, I was still pursued by debt collection agencies instructed by the ceo of romans and partners. The approaceh felt aggressive, heavy-handed, and completely disprtionate, given the circumstances.
In my personal opinion, the overall experience was deeply stressful and unprofessional. I've since advised others in my network in Singapore to exercise caution when dealing with this firm.

As an overseas owner, a trustworthy and reliable and professional agent is all I want. I am very fortunate to be in good hands. I had an excellent experience with Maj, Anthony and Monica. Their team was professional, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable about the rental market. They guided me through every step of the process, ensuring my property was let quickly and efficiently. I highly recommend their services for anyone looking to rent out their property!

I am an overseas investor and have an apartment which Romans and Partners manage for me. I am very happy with the service they provide. Being unfamiliar with the processes and UK regulations I always have lots of questions which Maciej personally will answer with patience and understanding, even while on holidays. The staff members are polite and always helpful, Never judgmental and I trust Maciej and his staff with managing my property. Never once have I needed to ask when my rental will be paid into my account.

What I like about this company is their responsible, efficiency , attentive , helpful, very patient to explain & advice clearly to we oversea landlords. They taking care of my tenants , my healthy Account, my tax , I am hassle free . They always up date me on UK real estate market . Is responsible company .

Done us out of our deposit we placed for a flat they didn’t even have. Should of seen the reviews on here first the google ones must be fake all in a few weeks. Watch out for them.
