Went on the river runner saturday 12th september really enjoyed the trip the trip is about 45min to the seals and you are told the history on the way which was really intreasting then watching the seals you get 15mins there,then back to sandwich we where looked after very well and nothing seemed to much trouble will be going back for a second trip
River Runner is an amazing experience to see seals basking in natural habitat. The boat you sail in has easy access to board for foot passengers, however, there are a few steep steps down to boat, but safety rails are there to help. Also, Lauren is there to assist you. Lauren will give safety talks and fit you with life jackets before boarding. She gives clear commentary once boarded of your trip. Also, you will hear history of sites along the river. The cruiser is comfortable and spacious. When cruising you can stand if required. It's 45 minutes cruising before seeing seals but the running commentary on history is most interesting; plenty of photos to be taken. Lauren and Paul allow 15 minutes filming seals, and I can honestly say it's well worth the trip.
Absolutely fantastic trip, we saw so many seals, pups too. I can’t recommend River Runners highly enough & the crew were delightful too.
