Dan picked up my Ford ranger promptly got it loaded up and on the way home. This is where the challenge really began. I live in a little culdesac on an incredibly narrow street. To say it was a challenge to reverse a truck of that size up my street and around a sharp turn is an understatement! How he did it I have no idea but that is a level of skilled driving I have never seen! I did say I was worried about leaving my car on the main road and Dan certainly delivered! Not only was he top guy who managed to make me laugh when I was already freezing cold and soaking wet but he certainly went the extra mile to deliver a first class customer service! Rockford motor services Dan is an incredible asset to your company and I really feel his service should be recognised! Cheers Dan you made a pretty rubbish evening a bit better

Richford came to my rescue after my job was passed to them via the RAC. Arrived within 90 minutes. Towed me to Bradford from the M180. Friendly driver - nothing too much trouble.

My recovery truck driver was called Steve from wigston depo, he came to me with nothing but compassion to my situation. I had broken down in a very low ride height classic VW truck and my journey to York from Wales was documented online and my breakdown has been nothing but stress and a bit of a mission being turned down by other transport companies. However Steve pulled up, I was loaded safely in less than 5minutes. He clearly has experience with lowered vehicles and treated mine like it was a rare antique despite me not being precious about it!

The drive was made very relaxed, very welcoming and in no way was it awkward, uncomfortable or making me wish I went to sleep!

Id probably try to personally request him if I ever break down again

Your company came to recover our caravan from Belvior castle steam rally . After 1 bolt sheared off and broke the bracket . it was a difficult recovery with no jockey wheel. Tyler the driver was very professional and very polite and a joy to deal with .

Was recovered from Milton Keynes to slough. 3.5t mercedes sprinter luton with Scott. Brilliant customer service would highly recommend!!

I broke down on Saturday and called RAC at 16:30. I was initially told that someone will be with me between 17:50-19:50. Around 20:30, I received a call from a lady from Richford Motors Services saying they have now taken over and that someone will be with me within an hour. At 9:30pm, I call them to enquire and they told me that the EAT had now changed and I had to wait another 1:30h because something urgent had come up. The lady on the phone made sure to let me know that I was covered only for 10 miles tow despite I was 100+ miles away from home. I told her that I knew that but I also knew that they should first had to have a look at my car to try and fix it. I also had a courtesy car included on my policy, but they rushed to hang up.
I waited until 11:30 and called again. the same lady told me now that the EAT had changed to 1am, but someone would definitely be with me by then. When I started enquiring why all this delay, she kept mentioning my 10 mile tow. I insisted that that was irrelevant, that I was a female lone driver waiting since 4:30pm and that someone had to first come and see my car. She started becoming ironic and dismissive and said I was not a priority as I was on a "safe" place comparing to someone stuck on M1.
Long story short, after calling a few times RAC and Richford, her handing up the phone to me, as well as lying that my driver is 4 and 10 minutes away, while letting me wait an hour, I was rescued at 3am, and the driver confirmed that he was in Gloucester or having his break, when I was lied that he was only a few minutes away.
When I told her that even the police had stopped and offered to help me and take me somewhere safe 2am in the morning and yet I turned that down because I was deceived by Richford Motor, she told me sarcastically "you are welcome to call the police for help but I bet you they will arrive after we do."
I really do not understand who employs these people, and why no one cared to do their job. Leaving someone in the middle of nowhere, feeling unsafe and scared, and lying to them on purpose, it is very dishonest, dangerous, and uncaring. I had friends and family offering to come and collect me, and yet because of her lies and thinking I was about to be rescued, I ended up feeling very vulnerable, in the middle of nowhere, waiting until 3am.
If I could I would give minus one stars, but at least Alex the driver was very nice.

Great service from Scott. He went above and beyond to tow my car safely and efficiently and helped me out of what had been a bit of a nightmare breakdown.

This company dropped off a car on a neighbourhood road at midnight, on a weekday. And was loading/unloading for 45 minutes. Bright lights on the tow truck were not turned off, illuminating my whole house, and hammering metal on the truck to remove the car at this hour is completely unacceptable, no matter the circumstances. Some of us had to be up for work a few hours after and really didn’t appreciate this disruption

Fabulous service from Dave from Grantham. He went above and beyond to make sure our car didn’t sustain any further damage. Really friendly and efficient.

Dave rescued us together with our caravan at Gunthorpe, diagnosed potential issues and explained likely reason for failure of our air brakes. Took us to our door in Lincoln where we unhitched caravan, off-loaded car, made him a brew and off he went on his next call. Dave was friendly, helpful and informative a true gent, we did have issues waiting but this is being dealt with separately and out of context with our positive experience with the safe recovery and onward journey.

Broken down at side of A5, Scott was fast to arrive and helpful. He managed to drop my car off in a very tight yard!

Was picked up at Services near Sheffield and brought safely home by Stuart, what a really professional, great guy he is . Just made a really long tiring day better .
Nothing was a problem and couldn’t speak higher of the guy .

Richford recovered my car during a breakdown. The call centre was very efficient and polite and the recovery driver (Tom) was exceptional. He was smart and very proficient in recovering my car safely from an awkward spot. Excellent service all round.

I recently called on this company to move my broken-down vehicle with my caravan in Lincoln. The 1st recovery truck that attended moved me from dangerous place to where I was going for the weekend. Then on the Monday their recovery returned to collect us & bring us back to west Sussex. Thank you for getting me & my dogs safely home. You are amazing

Brilliant experience - AA were rubbish, but these guys saved the day. I did wait a while but when they came to assess and then later to recover my car they were so helpful, professional and kind.

Talk about quick!....Scott arrived promptly, and within 10 minutes, the van was loaded on his lorry and we were off ! 5 * well deserved

Glyn was amazing, got to us quickly, and fixed the problem with the car quickly too. He answered all of our questions. We can now get off to Cornwall on our holiday.
