I have bought from Richer Sounds before and was very happy with their service, and especially their 6 year guarantee, which I had occasion to use recently after 4 years when the TV broke. Excellent! So when I wanted to buy a projector I saw they again were offering the same guarantee so I went to them and they were very helpful, and quick to deliver my projector, which I'm very happy with. 5 star service. Thanks.

Time and time again, Richer Sounds give great advice, sell great products and support you after the sale.

I have been buying AV equipment from Richer Sounds Southgate for many years now. The staff knowledge and professionalism has always been second to none and a special mention must go to Dan who is my go to man for all my requests. He always gives me the best advice and the best opinions of what to buy. Just fantastic service all round.

Every one of the staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Dan. They were very patient too.

Surprise surprise, another (second of two) bad experiences from Richer Sounds (Southgate store) on this occasion.

Called to inquire about set of Fyne Audio F301i speakers to arrange an audition. The gentleman informed me that they had none in the store but he would source a set in 2/3 days and get back to me for an appointment in the store. When I inquired they were retailing for £179.00. 5 days later no call and the price has gone up to £219.99.

Needless to say I should have learned my lesson the first time doing business with Richer sounds London Bridge who managed to “Lose” my B&W speakers in transit and not be able to replace them (refund was issued)

Totally given up with these guys and will be using AV.com who get the item to you next day or within 48hrs no questions asked. All while being the exact same price as Richer sounds.

Be warned, the service is certainly not what it used to be 12 years ago when I started using them. You will likely get what you need but not without going through some drama first.

Richer Sounds Customer care team reached out to discuss the above experience which was quiet a rare thing to happen now a day's.

After a constructive conversation there seemed to be some miss communication and the issue has been resolved with a satisfactory outcome. I have purchased the speakers successfully and the original discounted price was honored, with a further discount for the inconvenience.

All in all good customer service which is the most important part of any business. As a result I would be happy to use Richer Sounds in the future.

The purchase went very smoothly and the member of staff carried out the operation very efficiently. He took onboard all peripheral aspects of the purchase to my satisfaction. Thank you.

And Hudson, who took my initial phone enquiry, was on hand to haul the item from the back, discuss the finer points of the model, make the sale, and help me strap the heavy carton to my trolley -- 5 stars there, too!

I bought the MEE AF-T1 as an open box item from Reading and the same unit open box from Southgate on the same day. For both orders I requested an optical cable paying £12.95 each, but when they arrived the units each had an optical cable provided with the unit, so there was no need to have the cables I purchased. I am disappointed that I wasn’t told the cables came with the open box units and due to distance and cost I will not be able to return them, so £25.90 spent needlessly.
I have to say that generally Richer Sounds have always provided great service over the years, and I put this oversight down to experience.

Purchased Tv over the phone. Quick and easy purchase.
Was a bit unsure when it came to fitting but the guys at Southgate was more than helpful and we got to the bottom of the issue in the end

Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff. I wasn't sure exactly what was the best set of products for me but they spent time taking me through options and I was happy with the final proposal, for a good price

Great service, from customer sales, after sales and product advice. I have bought from RS for years and I know from personal experience Curry's PC world cant come anywhere close when looking for such products
