They charged me for a plumber at a higher rate and sent a handyman... I have it in writing that they will refund me the difference on the 1/10/22 but I am still trying to get my refunded! I am now reporting them to the ombudsman.

Wouldn’t recommend this company to my worst enemy. Please steer clear. I have been waiting on repifix to complete a job of replacing a sink for a month after they have already charged me over 300£.
I could not have Christmas dinner in my house because of this after requesting this fix as a matter of urgency on the 12th of december.

These guys are worse than you might imagine. They haven't fixed either of the problems they have tried to fix for me (one plumbing, one electric), though I have had to pay for each visit.
For the electric problem they are now telling me to contact the manufacturer of a 'electric valve control' to ask *them* to replace the item. Why won't repifix do this for me? Who knows!

Found on Checkatrade. The engineer was very polite and left the room clean. Unfortunately, he used a hoover, and after one week, the drain was blocked once again. Only Dyno Rod used a sink unblocker, which is like a gun that pries a sort of brush that goes inside the pipes for 37 feet (11 meters), and they unblocked the sink in 10 minutes. Don't waste your money with Repifix because they do not have the correct equipment to unblock the sinks, but they only use a hoover who only unblocks for a week.

After my boiler broke down and after calling 4-5 different companies to try and get an engineer out to diagnose and fix the issue, Repifix were the only one’s who came out in a reasonable time to help resolve the issue.
They were very professional and upfront about the cost of the quote and the invoice quoted for parking (which I expected as I did not have any parking permits)
They diagnosed the problem and within and hour, bought the parts required for the job and fixed the boiler.
I’m really impressed with the service and will definitely be using them again!

What can I say. They saved the day.
I had a serious electrical outage. Had three companies come out to me before this and they couldn't fix it and was without electrics for two days.
Price was a little higher than I expected but I guess you get what you paid for. If I had just used them from the beginning I would have saved a few £.
The material collection fee was a little annoying but they did inform me of this so can't be upset too much on that. The engineer even sorted out my broken doorbell for free on his way out after he stopped the clock on site. Will be definitely using these guys again.
Ali was fantastic and Anton was very understanding and took his time to understand my issues when I called instead of just trying to rush me and book the job in.
Fantastic service and now the wife is happy which makes me happy :)

Have used this company a couple of times now both for big and small jobs. Boiler repair last year- great service, professional staff and good quality workmanship (boiler is still going strong!).
Most recently, I've called them out to replace a leaking tap and install dimmer switches. Prices are about average for London.
I would recommend Repifix- I've always been happy with the work they've done for me, hence being a repeat customer.

CAUTION: do not give your debit card details upfront as the costs discussed prior will not be the final bill. They add on for parking, unesassary materials and additional hours.

Paid with my debit card £132 and was told will be less that 2 hrs for a radiator to be moved from one wall to next wall and then on the day told it’s an all day job and another £400 and I will have to get a carpet fitter to put the carpet back I asked to put the copper pipes on to go on top of the skirting board he refused and wanted to make more money from me I said no I don’t have the cash and cancelled the job called the company and emailed they said no to refund got in touch with my bank and raised dispute and explained that I ad called Romford plumbing who did the job 45 min and charged me at price I could afford fitted top quality copper pipes this guy has many years behind him as a professional plumber and very pleased with the service I explained all to my bank with pics and got my refund full back from Repifix
£250 to change 4 tap washers
Repifix charge by the hour which includes travelling time for the worker and the time it takes for him to complete his post work audit. I had 4 tap washers changed (I have arthritis so cannot do it myself) and was billed for two hours.
AWFUL EXPERIENCE
AWFUL EXPERIENCE resulting in a complaint. I found this company via Checkatrade. I wish I saw the reviews on Trustpilot before proceeding.
1. The handyperson took a chunk out of my wall whilst repairing the skirting and didn’t correct the damage.
2. One of the coat rails installed is wobbly.
3. It took the handyperson 3 hours to complete a 1.5-2hr job. Put up 2 coat hooks, put 2 nails into the skirting and lay the vinyl in a roughly 1x1m cupboard. Which has resulted in a £324 invoice.
This amount would be agreeable, if all jobs were completed and to a high standard.
4. Only 3/4 jobs were completed.
5. I don’t agree with the cost. Some of the time was used with the handyperson returning to their car to collect their tools and also leaving again to move their car.
6. The joining of the vinyl is jagged - the finished work shows their handyperson is possibly inexperienced in laying vinyl.
I am very disappointed and upset by this experience - very poor workmanship.

Avoid at all costs. Very overpriced, opaque pricing and poor workmanship. Have had to pay to have the work redone.

Would give zero out of five if I could, exactly the same as the review left below. Falsely told the rate was £90, then when taking payment bumped it up to £110?! Told me they’d stop the clock on the day of repair, but end up getting an extra hour when no labour was done? So I ended up paying near £300 for something that should have been £120-40 at the most. Vile. Stay well clear.

Got ripped by this company, they are so far over and above the rate for plumbers. AVOID! Will not recommend, have basically told anyone around the area to stay well clear.
