Rentwebs B.V. is the same company behind rentweb24. You can verify this by searching them at the kvk.nl website. Their kvk number is: 76944522
I had responded to apartments for rent on an entirely unaffiliated website that is basically a collection of rentable housing currently on the market. After you respond, nothing really ever happens. Your submissions do not get send out, is what Rentweb24 tells you.
On the 16th of April 2025, I was called by this number: +31 6 xxxxx549, and a young sounding man told me they are running a pilot for the fact that they know the "umbrella" websites don't really send a response to the landlord.
Red flag one: If that umbrella website does not communicate submissions to anywhere, how is it they know my phone number to call me?
Red flag 2: What was strange is that he did not give me his name, he called himself "rentweb24", refused to give a name. He then said you pay once for registration, after that you can respond to rental housing for as long as you'd like. This is not true. If you go their website, it clearly says that the cheapest package is for 40 euro for 2 months. Their 12 months package is 70 euro.
I have not paid and will not pay, because everything about this, has red flags littered all across it.
Their website looks like it was made by a 4 year old. While it is a secure website (https://), it does not make me feel like I am about to do business with honest people.
Stay far away from these people.
