I have used many clothing subscription services over the years, so when I was given a gift certificate to this service at Christmas, I was really excited to try it. But thins got busy, and I hadnt gotten around to picking anything out. But i recently discovered that apparently when I activated the gift card, I was automatically signed up for a recurring clothing delivery subscription. I never received any clothing, or realized I had the subscription.

When I called to see if there was anything I could do to get reimbursed, or at least to use the many months I had paid for, they refused.

Needless to say I canceled my subscription and do not plan to return.

This isnt a company I feel good about.

I have been receiving 2 shipments a month since 2021. I have been happy with my service until now. The new late fee policies and extra $20 month have persuaded me to cancel my account and look into the other rental companies who offer the same brands and similar plans for a lower price.

Customer service representative was informative, patient, and helpful.

Support is always super helpful and they go above and beyond to help. Once I had an order that had 3 items that were too small and I was so upset, but they offered to replace immediately no charge for extra shipment. Support is always quick to respond and super knowledgeable/ able to fix things without so quickly.

RTR has always been hit or miss for me, but lately just a miss. Their customer service is great, but I don’t want to need them! (If that makes sense). Every month seemed to have an issue with the return. The selections have recently improved but not what I’d call “Runway” by any stretch. I recently bought three items and all three had issues. They should have been retired not sold. One ruined by a smoker, one had obviously been laundered when it was clearly dry clean only (and shrunk to a point of not fitting), and the last was a knit dress with the beginnings of a hole in the knee….a worthless purchase. I finally quit for good. The stars are for their customer service…always friendly, helpful and prompt

RTR the runway is the easiest process. I have kids and no time to go to stores and look around for hours. RTR does it for me:). I’ve also learned how to put outfits together with more style. I don’t know what I would do without them.

I’ve been a happy customer of Rent the Runway for years and I can say that each and every time I’ve had to reach out to them for whatever reason, I have found the customer service experience to be stellar. Bottom line is that I don’t dread reaching out to them for support, which is huge. Thanks!

Earlier this year I had a subscription with RTR and put it on hold. When it was initially set to reactivate, I received an email notification prior to the reactivation date. I delayed the reactivation and didn't create any reminder for myself about the next reactivation date because I figured I could count on getting another reactivation notice email. I didn't get one and was charged $145. RTR acknowledged their error in not sending any notification and still refuses to refund the fee. In looking through other reviews, it seems I'm not the only one with this experience. I no longer have any trust in this company.

Rent the Runway has probably one of the best customer service practices around! I am always satisfied. Incredible.

I’ve been a customer for two years now. I love everything about RTR. The clothing selection is amazing. It’s fun to be able to try different styles and designers. I like the idea of being able to wear designer clothes, without the price and without the clothing taking up space in my closet. I’m able to wear something once or twice and then send it on for someone else to enjoy. The clothing is in great condition. I am definitely a loyal, lifelong customer.

I’ve been using Rent The Runway for almost 3 years and found their outfits and customer support team terrific! There has always been a representative—not a recording—to answer calls and resolve issues—if any arose. There were a few hiccups at first but more due to my lack of familiarity with using the site then there products. I’ve fallen in love and purchased several outfits over the years. All in all, I highly recommend RTR.

I’ve been renting clothes for 7+ years now and I love the versatility in my wardrobe. Every time I rent new clothes I feel like I went shopping.

RTR has been very helpful for me as a teen who likes to only wear outfits once and post them on instagram. The process is very easy and most items rented are in great shape. I have had a few be over worn but the pros outweigh the cons!

The customer service is excellent. I’ve never had any issue that wasn’t immediately addressed. 5 stars!

What a raquet. You are required to put in your credit card before being able to shop and see if there are items you would like when it didn't work for me they refused to give me my $$$ back Customer service was quite nasty too So now I'm out money I see alot of other reviews with the same complaint I am reaching out to my credit card and the BBB. Shameful

I used their service for one month and was not happy with the quality of the pieces I tried. I wanted to cancel the service but could not figure out how to cancel on their website, only the ability to put the subscrition on hold, which required me to login monthly to continue the hold. Last month I forgot and was charged $145.00. I just called their customer service to cancel, which they did, but would not refund the $145.00. I obviously had not used their service for 8 months.
