I completed my Reiki 2 at Reiki Tradition last weekend. Martin is such a good teacher and teaches from a strong spiritual tradition that brings the lessons and the practices alive. His teaching feels connected and light infused. I would highly recommend Reiki Tradition if you are looking for a meaningful introduction to Reiki or are seeking to develop a more connected and meaningful practice and understanding of Reiki as a practioner.

Well another weekend assisting on a reiki 1 course. I enjoy meeting new students at the start of their reiki journey they are blown away by the content of the course they given information over the two days they attend they come in a little unsure but leave with a passion to use reiki in there daily life's to help themselves progress.

I did levels 1 2 and 3rd master degree with this fantastic genuine company . Martin was always going above and beyond for his students and is always available once you have completed your courses if you need to ask him anything . I've known Martin and Reiki Tradition since 2017 and can honestly say it has changed my life for the better. You won't find a more kind genuine knowledgeable Master than Martin Thirlwell I'm proud to say .

I completed the Master’s 3rd Degree with Martin at Reiki Tradition School of Reiki in June this year. Assisting were Sharon and Steven. Firstly Martin, Sharon and Steven were incredible, their support and patience through the process was above and beyond. The course content is mind blowing, learning the hidden elements is without question anyone on their own reiki journey a must do. You’ll be surrounded by amazing unique people learning together. My only regret with my whole reiki journey is not doing it sooner. Would I go anywhere else to learn? NO chance! Martin is without doubt the best at what he does, his commitment, dedication and determination to keep the Usui Shiki Ryoho System of Natural Healing in its traditional form and teaching to the highest of standards is unquestionable. I’ve met people who will become lifelong friends, Martin being just one of these. A few weeks after completing the course Martin books us all in for a Presentation Evening. We all get to meet up again after passing our Master’s to review our past few weeks and catch up with each other sharing our stories and how our therapies on clients have been. There will be changes believe me and all for the good! Martin then presented each of us with some very special gifts, these are gifts you will treasure for the rest of your life, they are truly beautiful and extra special. Thank you Martin from the bottom of my heart. I am so very thankful and have the deepest respect and gratitude for Martin and his assistants at Reiki Tradition. Thank you 🙏🏻

I have finally completed my Accredited Reiki level 1, 2 and masters over the last few years with Reiki Tradition, the effort that is put in by Martin and the team, who have also taken their Reiki levels by Martin is the very best there is out there, the course is extremely professional, and the contents of the subject is very detailed from the beginning of when reiki was found and how it was found and by whom. I couldnt write one bad thing of my experience and im extremely grateful I did my Reiki course with Reiki Traditiin, big thanks to Martin and all the ladies who help me in the last few years, it's been an absolute pleasure meeting you all 🥰💓🙏

I completed my Reiki 3rd Degree with Reiki Tradition in June of this year.
The presentation evening for this course was on 30th August.
It was so amazing to see everyone and listen to their stories of how Reiki has changed their lives. I was presented with an array of beautiful items and especially my Reiki Master lineage certificate and The Master Chakra Frame.
I would also like to add that Martin is a great and knowledgeable Reiki Master, with the patience of a saint!

Assisting on the reiki level 1 course was as per usual a brand new experience. Each time whether as an assistant or going through the different levels as a student, the experience has been new and eye opening. This is a fantastic way to meet like minded people and expand knowledge in various areas of life including of course reiki, which really does cover a vast array of our life experience. A brilliant experience!

Completed the Master's 3rd Degree Reiki with Martin, assisting were Sharon and Stephen, all phenomenal in their knowledge, experience, advice and support. If you think you know Reiki after completing your Reiki 1 and 2, think again; what you get on this level goes beyond the WOW factor, handouts provided by Martin to read and digest at your leisure are incredible, the content is on another level and not to be missed. As a student who has completed all the levels of reiki at Reiki Tradition and who has assisted on many courses, I can wholeheartedly say this is the best place for those wanting to develop in this field.

I have just assisted on the masters degree and it was a lovely weekend. The students were very keen, lovely and calm. Martin was his usual superb teacher. His knowledge of the history of reiki is second to none. His energy, calmness and let’s not forget his humour, will always make his courses fun, rewarding and life changing for students.

There is no other reiki school offering this level of teaching, hidden elements, aftercare, networking between likeminded people and having the opportunity to give back to other students.

I had a pleasure of attending Reiki development day at Reiki Traditions last weekend.
It was a valuable experience of obtaining some useful reiki practitioner’s knowledge, exercising practical skills and staying in the company of beautiful likeminded people. Perfect mix of theory and practice. Can’t wait for another one! Piotr

It was a pleasure to return to Reiki Tradition for the first of my accredited practitioner development days. There is always a warm welcome and I always get a sense that I am exactly where I’m suppose to be when at the Therapy Rooms.

Today was about preparing students for hospice and hospital visits in order to give a reiki treatment. True to form Martin had set out course learning notes with an exceptional eye for detail. I am truly grateful for his focus to ensure his students are trained to the highest standards, to met the strictest criteria. This dedication has purpose, he does this to ensure his students will meet no resistance when entering medical settings. He teaches more than a syllabus, he passes on his 40 years of experience volunteering and healing, preparing students for the practicalities of the situations we will face. And the proof is the number of reiki practitioners trained at Reiki Tradition that work or volunteer in hospices and hospitals. Getting reiki in where it can do the highest good.

If teaching is a calling, then Martin has that calling in abundance.

It was lovely to see Sharon again, who also offers students a wealth of knowledge, experience and support. She has inspired me to finally go and study reflexology.

When I met Martin I could instantly tell by they way he talked and composed himself he was not an average person, he thought outside the box and literally created a calming soothing atmosphere. This was intriguing to me and I could tell there is alot to this man so I thought il stick at this and see what I can learn. He had a team of assistants and they also seemed so calm, relaxed and friendly- very different from your average people in our hectic work & money motivated society.
The room I entered was full of smiles and had a beautiful fragrance in the air.
As the course started Martin ( the course leader) went on to explain reiki, his experience and the potential life changing skills he could offer to those who had faith in him. I was starting to think this seems to good to be true, in my life iv been used to disappointment- who hasn't?!
Martin took me into a room with one of his assistants for for something called an attunement. I do believe in energy that a person can give off, (iv been around some people who were so negative that iv literally felt like vomiting).
The lights were dimmed, and soothing music was played Martin got close to me and then - Wow! it was like this guy has superpowers! I had never felt an energy like that off another person in my life it was like he was opening up parts of my brain that had been dormant! I felt as if anything was possible, my sceptical mind literally disintegrated away and I felt full of positive happiness. How did this happen? I honestly don't know all I could say to that question is we are always looking for answers but sometimes things definitely defy explanation.
All I can say about that and other experiences iv had with Martin is he has a gift that he must have been born with or got some how. I have never met anybody like him before and he is a truly talented man that I am honoured to have met.
Bravo Martin, thank you wholeheartedly for changing my perception on life and its possibilities and I hope you keep doing this for others as long as you can, making this world a little better every time you do so.
Since completing my reki level 2 course I have felt my hands feel like they are buzzing with energy when I perform a treatment and do feel like I can now also heal people by using the techniques and training Martin and his assistants gave me.
More than highly recommended !!!

Basically, Martin is the best reiki teacher I have ever met. Very professional, knowledgeable and intelligent. The reiki course gives more than just attunements and the practice of reiki - it gives you a solid foundation to build upon for your reiki career. The teacher only focuses on reiki and that's how you know someone is dedicated to their art. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. The school even offers a full accreditation option for those wanting employment in (for example) the nhs. Thanks for an amazing reiki 2 course Martin and to your lovely assistants. I completed both Level 3 Reiki and The Pawsome Reiki for Animals.The courses themselves were good but I will explain my awful and distressing experience of each.On the first evening of Level 3 we were told there would be a presentation evening a few weeks after completing, which wasn't mentioned when booked. This was subsequently cancelled because Martin had some personal issues. After 3 weeks of waiting for a new date, my van broke down, which might mean it unlikely I would make the new date. As I needed it for insurance purposes, I asked if I could receive my certificate in the post asap and if I could make the date of the presentation I would love to be there. Martin seemed extremely put out by this and told me I would have to pay for my certificate to be sent out, and the presentation items were too delicate to send. I opted to have it sent in the post. I then told Martin when I had my van back on the road and said I could make the presentation after all. Martin said it was very convenient that my van was now fixed and that because I'd opted to have my certificate posted he'd "got rid" of my presentation items and couldn't attend the presentation with the other students. I found the whole experience extremely upsetting, especially from someone whom I would look to as a mentor for my development.
The next hit was the Pawsome animal Reiki, I completed the course and 30 case studies in my own time, which was not an easy task and took a lot of dedication. Martin has not been to observe me as he is required to do by the accrediting body, and I have asked many times. He has also withheld my certificate.

Do not recommend a Reiki course with this controlling and unreasonable man. I think he has a LOT of work to do on his ego and his controlling behaviour.
I have also heard many other similar bad experiences of his controlling behaviour. One lady had a close family bereavement, and he refused to give her extra time to complete the course.
It has taken me months and a lot of processing and work on myself to be brave enough to speak out about this but I think staying silent means it could happen to other people which I would never want to happen.

I have just completed the 12 week awareness and development group, it was amazing Martin is an amazing teacher, and you learn so much from him, he teaches you how to become aware of energy and vibrations, and teaches you many different ways to work with your guides and spirit. You also meet lovely like minded people along the way and it’s such a welcoming safe space. Thankyou so much would highly recommend. Thanks Donna

Martin is so thorough. He also has 2 people assisting on the course which reinforces all of the support you get. He answered all of the questions I needed to feel confident. He genuinely wants you to succeed in healing others. Lots of course material provided too. I came away from this course feeling amazing & ready to start my journey. Thankyou so much x

I did my Reiki level 1 last year at Reiki Tradition and have just completed my level 2. I can honestly say that the whole experience has been life changing. If you are considering embarking on your Reiki Journey (and you absolutely should!) there is only one place to go and I cannot recommend Martin enough. A big shout out to Linette, Sharon and Chris who give up their weekends to assist on these courses - purely because they are just really good people. I cannot wait to get going and I am excited to see where this takes me.

I have recently completed my Reiki level 2 with Reiki tradition…Martin and the team, Lynette, Sharon and Chris were all amazing as always. I feel I am going from home to home whilst there, as they make you feel so welcomed and relaxed throughout. The knowledge that Martin holds is phenomenal and I cannot thank him enough. Martin is an amazing teacher, so caring and compassionate, just a beautiful soul. I cannot recommend him and his assistants enough, they were all amazing. I did my level 2 reiki over the weekend and just know it’s gonna be life changing for me . Thank you so much😇 🙏 🙏
