We hired Reays coaches for our daughters wedding last week and they were fanrstic, on time and done pick ups at various addresses which was great as the weather wasn't great, and same at the end of the day when taking guests home, which we really appreciated as the weather by this time was awful, bus driver was polite and friendly too which waas good, definately recommend

We went to Livingston outlet today the driver was fantastic coach was beautiful we all had a brilliant day thank you 👍👍👍

I would give a zero if I could. Got dropped off at Hampton park on Saturday afternoon and was told to be back there at 11 where the coach would be.
The coach wasn't anywhere to be seen.
We contacted pit of hours to be told lie after lie to them even saying the driver had to go to hospital due to his daughter having a seizure. So you can imagine our surprise when the sane driver pick us up.. 2 hours later at 1am.
We asked for the hearing to be pit on as you can imagine as we were freezing and this wasn't put on for 2 hours after the driver was asked again. The driver never once said sorry for the delay. He never done a head count even though members of the bus had gone home back to Carlisle in a uber.
Terrible service and they haven't accepted responsibility

Company who seem able to cancel coach hire at very last minute - not to be trusted to deliver a tour for your group yet demanding payment months in advance. Other companies would sort out a replacement vehicle - not this one

No show school bus again. Poor organization and zero customer service

I ordered two buses in August 2022 for a local outing that was due to take place in June 2023 I paid and signed for them, however with less than a month to go til the trip I happened to phone Reays up to ask what the drivers would like for their lunch as it was been provided and they informed me of one driver's choice when I asked what the second driver would like they told me that I only ordered one bus. They told me that I could not have another bus as they didn't have one free due to school runs and that I would not get my deposit back if I cancelled both buses due to their error, they then phoned me up a week before the trip telling me that if the full amount was not paid within 2 days that they could not guarantee me a bus even though this was never mentioned before in any of our conversations.

Used this company for their school bus run. At the start of the school year, just 2 days before the start they removed the loop where my child would have been able to get on / off the bus and replaced the stop with one which we had to drive to. The loop only took an extra 3 minutes but the management are shocking and refused to put the loop back in leaving us severely inconvenienced for the school year.
It's all about profit and no customer service with this company, you just need to look at their staff turnaround and the visits to the Traffic Commissioner to have an understanding. Never heard a good word said about the bosses.

Booked a private hire coach with Reays in January 2022 costing £10,000 for August 2023. In October 2022 received an email saying sorry we misquoted (not due to the fuel increase) and the actual price is £15,000, even though we had signed a contract....like it or lump it! Absolutely shocking customer service, no one would explain to me how you can misquote something by 50% but just wanted to fob us off. I got nowhere so have now booked a coach with another reputable company!

I would never travel with them again, not even on a day trip. Worst coach holiday I have ever been on. Went to the Isle of Wight in June 2022, I was told the pick up time was nine o clock so ordered my taxi for eight thirty, then got a email to say pick up time was eight o clock so I rearranged my taxi for seven thirty, got to the pick up point at seven forty five eight fifteen still no bus so I phoned the emergency number and was told the bus was on its way there was a problem, so a smaller bus arrived at eight forty five with people on from different areas, apparently some had not been notified of the change in time, so finally we left penrith at nine fifteen. Of coarse we missed the ferry we were booked on, the next one was seven thirty, were told by the driver on our way to the hotel there was no evening meal for us but a cold buffet was being provided, it turned out to be dried sandwiches and quiche, by the time we got there it was time for bed, no being able to walk outside, it turned out a terrible journey, the company tried to blame the traffic but it was not that bad if we had set off when we should have some of that could have been avoided, I have tried contacting the company but drawn a blank, they just kept telling me the same thing over and over, that it wasn't there fault, but it was, they are so organised and not helpful. Dont think you will get a good holiday with them you wont. The hotel had seen better days as well. All in All a bad experience.

Avoid! A ruthless company so read all small print in any contract you sign. From other reviews I’ve read, they treat their employees as badly as their customers.

Absolutely shocking shower. Zero regards for child safety, unprofessional (they don't know how to put phones down right) resulting in my hearing them mocking and laughing at my upset at my child being kicked off the bus and the obvious humiliation despite settling outstanding payment earlier that very day (says a lot about communication within) . Held me to a contract I didn't sign, wouldn't negotiate down outstanding balance despite infrequent use. But despite all the crude business practices and lack of humane treatment to its customers, the back office ridicule from the incorrectly set phone was just shocking, regardless of circumstance, I'd expect better from a 'god knows how' established business.

BE AWARE!!! This company enter into a contract with you with a price that seems very fair but written into the terms and conditions it mentions surcharges and 7 days before the WILL put the price up! Luckily I had emailed the company before this date so I still have time to try to organise some other travel. YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR DEPOSIT BACK! They explained to me about current situation with fuel but had no sympathy what so ever that we would never be able to afford the new price. I completely understand that at the minute the fuel price has risen to a a place that no one could have predicted but on discussing this with the company and even giving them over 2 month's notice they had no interest in ever returning my deposit. A win win for this company as they will make a profit either way.

Take your business elsewhere people!

I would not trust this company to fulfill any promise they made, they failed to make it to our promised destination, lied to our faces about alternative transport. Refused to give a refund even though they did not fulfill their obligation to us. They are unprofessional and unethical. Avoid at all costs

On 20 October 2018 I was one of the 700,000 on the #PeoplesVote demo in London. A Reays coach picked us up in Carlisle, Penrith, Kendal, Lancaster and Preston. It was a very fine well-appointed coach with two very personable drivers. The weather was great, the huge demo had a wonderful atmosphere, the day was a success.

The only slight annoyance was that on the way back I dropped my Parker pen down the side of my seat and try as I may I couldn’t retrieve, it was well and truly lodged in an inaccessible crevice. I managed to get a pencil out but not my pen. In the end I gave up and decided I’d ask Reays later.

I sent an email and they couldn't at first help. Drivers, cleaners and office staff said they couldn’t find it, but I knew it was there. In the end I think they asked their maintenance people to help and they found it. I suspect they would have had to take out a seat to do so. Having got it they posted it back to me, for which I am grateful.

When a company goes to such lengths to solve a minor problem you know you are in good hands.
