We wrote a polite email to this company asking about whether their diagnostic test for visual stress is a standalone test or whether there are other things that need to be ruled out first. The response I received back from the owner (a registered optometrist I believe) is really concerning and unprofessional.

I have contacted Read123 to get some information but they havent responded. I have asked

You describe your staff as “experts with over 20 years experience” in Visual Stress/Meares-Irlen Syndrome. Could you clarify which specific clinical or regulatory qualifications underpin this expertise (for example, registration with the General Optical Council, GMC, HCPC, or any other statutory body)?

You state that “qualified professionals” carry out assessments. Could you confirm which professional body accredits or regulates these qualifications, and how the public can verify them?

You state that your Read123 Clariti Lenses™ come with a “certificate of authenticity”. Could you explain what exactly this certificate authenticates?

Is Clariti Lenses™ a registered trademark with the UK Intellectual Property Office? If so, could you provide the registration number and category?

Very quick turn around time and received my glasses with trusted Royal Mail very quickly. Lenses were put into my own frames and they’re perfect exactly what I ordered. Customer service very good. 👍🏻

These glasses as so much cheaper than anywhere else we have looked and the quality is amazing. They are helping my little girl so much with her learning in school and her confidence in reading has improved so much.

We had paid privately for a Irlen, Vision stress test, and knew her colour prior to ordering these, however the website allows you to test online and to be honest it is very similar to the private test we paid for.
