A lady welcome me, and offered me her help, I told her : let me browsing first, she kept saying , asking many offerings, I get upset: “You want me to walk out” she replied it’s up to me
Then she kept followed me where ever I walk in the store,she kept walking behind or close to me, make me feel very unfortable
I made complain to store manager , he apploligized and he is very professional manager
Her name is Tamasia( i don’t remember exactly), she needs to be trained more professional with customers services.I have been customer service manager for 45 years, and I know how important it is
By the way, I bought Shea 5 pcs kitchen table and Fabien took care for me. He is very friendly and helpfull

Great Sales folk but poor follow thru
The problem has been ongoing since late October. On 10/25 or 10/29... can't remember the date, I stopped in to look at furniture. Carlos Acosta was a great help...friendly, personable and knowledgeable. He made me feel like I was the only person in the store. He helped me find pieces that, while not quite what I had in mind were still beautiful and functional. I am sorry to drag his name thru the mess that followed.
After I paid, the young lady at the service desk set up a delivery date. Only one of the pieces--a futon--was available for delivery on the date I selected and the other piece--a dining room set--would be tagged for a later date. The young woman printed out two separate sheets of paper, BOTH of them verifying my delivery date.
On the day my futon was to be delivered (11/6) I had not received a phone call or text, so I called delivery services. The curt gentleman I spoke with informed me that there was no delivery indicated. All he could find was my purchase order. When I told him I was holding verification for delivery, he said I had to take it up with the sales personnel.
So, I waited until the store opened and drove to the store. I needed to cancel the dining set delivery after measuring and finding that the set would be too large for my alcove. This way I would kill 2 birds with one stone.
This time I dealt with Latoya, who was trapped behind the desk alone with ringing phones and a line of customers. There were other, unoccupied personnel, but apparently none of them were allowed to help. I wanted to get back there and answer phones. Latoya was calm and cool as a cucumber, and I commend her. I have been in that scenario and I was stressing myself out.
Despite all the chaos, Latoya confirmed for me that the delivery order had gone thru and was registered in the system. She canceled the delivery date for the sofa and noted that someone from delivery would call meclater in the day to set a new delivery date after speaking with her supervisor. She also canceled my order for the dining room set altogether and said that my card would be credited the amount in 7 to 10 business days.
No one called me that day. Considering the chaos, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited until the following morning. By that time I had removed both my old sofa and old mismatched table and chairs.
Still nothing.
I drove back to R&F in Orange for the 2nd time in as many days. THIS time I dealt with both Carlos AND Latoya and neither of them were surprised when I said I had no faith in their delivery people and I was canceling the whole order. Both of them were helpful and I applaud Carlos for not strangling me over the loss of commission. (Give that young man a raise. He really does deserve it. So does Latoya.)
Latoya put through the paperwork and gave me confirmation of the cancelation. She told me the entire payment would be refunded to my card in 7 to 10 business days.
Well, it is now over a month since 11/7 and guess what? Apparently the accounting department cannot find the order to refund my card. I called the credit company in hopes that maybe I had missed the refunds, but nope...still no refund.
In the interim, I found a new sofa, as I desperately needed one and, luckily, the store I used had both a sofa and a dining set that were almost identical to my vision...and they were 500 dollars cheaper. Guess that's a good thing since R&F have not yet credited my account for the almost 2500 they owe.
I plan to make another drive to Orange as I know phones likely aren't answered because there is a solitary person behind the customer service desk trying to stay calm.
It is safe to say that at this point that if Raymour and Flannigan, Orange branch, were the only furniture store in Connecticut...in the WORLD...and I needed furniture, I would make my own rather than give them a penny.
Latoya and Carlos, I was impressed with your knowledge, finesse and professionalism. It's a pity your delivery and accounting departments haven't got an ounce of your talent. I will never shop there again.
