We recently used Rapid Building Inspections for a pre-purchase inspection on a unit we were buying. Me leaving things to the last minute, and a 7-day clause in the contract, Rapid came to my rescue, giving me an appointment in a couple of days, and a very comprehensive report with lots of explanation photos, within two hours of the inspection time. The assessor was also contactable by phone with any questions we had. 100% recommend this company.

This is our second time taking whole house building and pest service with Anthony Baldwin after purchasing our property in Gold Coast . We bought our house at auction so the seller’s building and pest report in place and the report was written there was no serious issues in the report . No Active termite activity.it was written clearly . So I did not request to the seller to do pre settlement building and pest inspection . But I have a plan to contact Anthony ( he inspected the previous house for us ,he is very knowledgeable and very professional and extremely experienced and very thorough and very dedicated about his job ) before we move in new house overall inspection just to make sure to peace of our mind for any hidden costs and termite and pest .
Thanks god , Anthony found the massive extensive active live termite damage to downstairs-lower level . I was shocked and surprised as the previous seller’s report said no termite damages and no active termite activity at all . Very frustrating about the seller building report . I should not trust at all . Big lesson learned . But very thank to Anthony who pick up the termite and save our money for the future to prevent damage the whole lower level from treating eating our new house . He spent almost 3 to 4 hours the whole house inspection. He is very efficient and very trustworthy and did his job well . He is the best inspector for building and pest in the Gold Coast . I highly recommend to contact rapid and building inspector for pre purchase or existing property. We will always use Anthony’s professional services for our house building and pest inspection in the future. As most of the inspectors are walk in and just brush it and walk away and take the $$$. I will give Anthony Baldwin 100star for his service. It is beyond and above experience and you will never regret calling him for inspection before your new your property settlement. That will save a lot of money as he is the best one can find hidden costs of the house .

Easy process from start to finish. Inspector was great and flexible.

Available quickly which is what you need when buying property. Provided clear report and were available for a phone discussion afterwards. This was required as we couldn’t attend the inspection.

I rang the inspector to go through the report who clearly explained and clarified information to me in the report.
