Update - The owner contacted me and who was extremely helpful and apologetic. She provided a detailed explanation regarding the issue with the offer, reported the support form fault to her technical team, and requested the addition of an email address for direct contact.

I appreciate the quick response, and the fact that she eventually admitted that it was not me that it was an agency issue with the offer. I will give them another chance and can hopefully raise my review to 5 stars.

My wife just joined and decided to purchase the Wonky Coffee offer to save 25% of all products, she was disappointed to discover that the link to save 25% takes you through to a different page from their normal website, however the pricing is identical to their standard prices and there's no discount applied at all. It now makes me wonder if she just wasted money that she does not really have on a Purpl membership. She also tried to contact them through their support page (no phone number) and no matter how many times she tried it kept producing an error and would not submit the request.

I joined purpldiscounts after seeing details about them online. For someone who's disability has come on unexpectedly and ferociously, and having no cure, I was suddenly thrown into an area, I knew nothing about. I joined purpldiscounts, and I'm so happy I did. I've used quite a few of the discounts for places Georgina has negotiated, and I'm thrilled with the money I've saved, food, clothes, toiletries, shoes, and more. It's a blessing when you are suddenly plunged into the confusing world of benefits, and every penny is accounted for. The group is great for information, advice and support. I've had many questions answered whilst I navigate my 'new normal '. Everyone is so kind, and have a wealth of knowledge to share. Georgina works tirelessly to advocate for the disabled, and has secured discounts for us from an enormous amount of places. Its an excellent site, and, as far as I know, the only one to do so. I highly recommend them, it's an excellent source of ideas, and discounts for people with any form of disability

Fantastic savings! I've just purchased a new mattress from Silent night and saved £108. In future, my 1st stop will be their discount site. There's so many companies that have now been added, covering all types of purchases, too many to list them all, but, food, clothing and bedding are a few I'll definitely be using. It's really simple to do, but if in doubt, there's always friendly advice available on their FB page.

They started charging a fee to use the site which I think is disgraceful!

I have personally ran a similar site in the past and I know how it works, so they do not need to charge users!

They get affiliate payments every time you order using their links/codes.
So they make money already.

This is how all the voucher and cashback sites work.

None of them charge fees, but Purpl does now even though it is only for disabled people, who are the worst off in society, especially in todays age!

There is no need to charge users fees, especially when you can get most of these discounts on free voucher sites!

This will end up killing off this company permanently as people will stop using the site.

Really bad move.
Also not nice when its literally for disabled people!

Wow well I only joined February Purpl discounts popped up on my Facebook-
My fridge freezer packed in - I looked on the list of companies- Hoover was my choice £45 off new fridge freezer , so I decided to try Morrisons ( I shop online with them anyway so what’s to lose ?) 10% and mini basket of £25 ! Easy peasy - I’ve roughly totalled up I’ve saved since February at least £8 per week plus a whopping £35 off Ocado so 16 x8 + 45 +35 a Massive £208 , also may I add Team Purpl are so helpful with any Issuse using the vouchers codes , advice on what companies are included , they’ll let you know who they are approaching to add to the massive list and communication with users offers help and support too !
No regrets from me tho I do wish I’d joined it earlier -

Excellent company, really helpful discounts for a variety of online shops. Super friendly people in the company too

Have used the discounts for shopping which makes a real difference in these costly times
The Facebook support group is fantastic for asking questions and speaking to people you can relate to in the disabled community

Sorry but many of the discount codes on this site you can obtain for free on other sites with no membership charge

Just with one company, we are saving between five and ten pounds per week on shopping which means even with the new paid membership of ten pounds a year, it will be so worth it to my household. On top of that regular saving, there are many other companies that we can make savings through. There are other features to help those with disabilities and I am so grateful to have found this website.

Since using the purpl I've saved £50 just on a couple of months of morrisons online shops. As a disabled person this makes a huge difference. I had one issue with a code once and they were super helpful in sorting it.

I've been using purpl for quite a while, I have only used morrisons codes and save around 10 pound a week at least , one week pays for the months delivery on what I've saved, even though it's a subscription now what I save 9.99 a year is well worth paying, means you can have little treats you wouldn't normally be able to afford, would love to see more food shops and yours clothing?

I love all that Purpldiscounts is trying to do to help make the lives of people with disabilities that little bit easier or indeed to give them the ability to have an occasional treat.

Admittedly I haven’t used the discounts much yet, but as relevant shopping crops up I will do.

I also love the additional blogs and information that are shared on the site.

No idea why people are complaining about the introduction of a minimal annual fee. A couple of orders from Morrisons and you’ve covered that and some. It costs money to run a business even one with a social purpose, these fees help to cover those costs and helps to ensure that the discounts they offer continue to be available to us.

Been with Purpl for only a couple of months but have made savings already , website is easy to navigate , and admin are very helpful if a code doesn t work etc . Fantastic site

As of now this is now a paid for service.
90% of the discounts are for lifes luxuries not every day living expenses. Since joining I've only been able to benefit from the Morrisons codes. The saving per shop is no where near the amount they claim on their website. I saved about £2-£4 per shop NOT £15 per code use as they claim. For those of us who are literally living on a shoe string budget thanks to disabilities, this really isn't good enough , if I can't afford food, why am I going to claim a discount on a holiday abroad? I can't even afford a loaf bread some weeks never mind a passport to jet off on a discount holiday. If there was more discounts for daily living expenses it might be different. Purpl is literally of no use to me now. I'm sorry, I know it was set up with the best of intentions.

I was very lucky to win a £50 voucher for Morrisons through this wonderful site. I also save 10% weekly on my groceries at Morrisons. I’m so pleased I came across their Facebook page. The variety of discounts is amazing.

I signed up to Purpl some time ago & as a disabled person have found it very helpful in saving a few pounds here & there. Plenty of choice of companies with good discounts & easy to use. Very pleased, thank you.

Great online discounts from purpldiscounts I use these a lot to save the pennies.

I was so excited when I signed up originally, I was a little sad that a lot of the deals are on more frivolous things or are general discounts just run through the sight, and not sight exclusive, but I didn't mind. It was fun to be able to plan and look forward to special events. However now, during a time when disabled people are being attacked by the government financially, they suddenly want to charge you for joining? That's insane and honestly sad, if they say its beyond there control or its to help the community I'm done with that talk. It doesn't help us at all giving us more cost to try and have something to look forward to. Honestly I'm so saddened and disgusted by this. Can disabled people get no help that doesn't cost them the ability to actually enjoy life. What the point in luxury discounts if we cant afford luxury.
