Top quality staff and service, great value for money,always willing to help.

We were travelling through Folkestone after moving back from Spain and urgently needed an MOT as soon as we arrived in the UK. I booked in with PTA and, on the way there, realised our car was completely full. The team were incredibly understanding and even let us unload everything into their office, much to the amusement of customers walking in!

Despite being very busy, they managed to complete the MOT early, carry out the necessary repairs, and get us back on the road for our journey up North. Their service was exceptional from start to finish and a real example of a business going above and beyond what you’d normally expect.

Great service as always from the guys at Oxted garage. Ordered 3 same brand tyres on line to match the existing unworn tyre on my car. Disappointed that PTA's supplier had substituted 2 different branded tyres when I turned up for the fitting. I was told this often happened. There was no time to reject them as I had an impending MOT. Will continue to use PTA Oxted but will ring prior to fitting in future so as to check I will be getting the tyre I ordered.

We used PTA in Oxted when our clutch went in the area. Our service by this garage and the Team there has been fantastic throughout! Special mention to Neil. From our experience, we can 100% recommend - many thanks.

I have used this garage for many years and as I have Three cars this is the one i would always go to .The staff are friendly and take time to outline any issues and suggest any remedial measures to any problems.
They are cost effective and go the extra mile to help, even changing around my tyres on my Mercedes when in for an MOT after i had put one from the back on the front (different size not noticed by me) they did this whilst the MOT was being done at no charge . That is service and care. Would recommend to anyone.

4 x Michelin Primacy 5 235/40 R19 W (96) fitted to a Tesla Model 3 LR.

Fitting was perfectly OK, but stars removed for attitude:

1. Telling me that he will never repair a tyre with accoustic foam in
2. Conversing with a colleague out-loud so I could clearly hear "the customer thinks he knows better by choosing a tyre without foam, something Tesla has spent millions on designing to cut noise? Well just wait until he hears 'whoom whoom whoom' whenever he drives"

#1 contradicts #2 but more than that - not only was it rude, but Tesla did not invent accoustic foam in tyres, and the Primacy I chose are (subjective) noticably quieter than the Hankook accoustic foam tyres the car came with (driven a few hundred motorway miles since).

I thought I could trust this garage but I can't - They asked me to bring the car at 0830 for them to not even look at it for 3 hours, eventually they advised what part I needed and they will fit it, so I get the part, let them know I have it for them to tell me that they are not going to fit it - Very rude staff, I will be telling everyone not to go back to this garage - they told me to order the part then call them once received to book and fit it, I done exactly what they said and now they are refusing to fit the part that told me to purchase, the car dealer I bought the car from agreed for PTA to do the work and now I am left in the lurch, I am very upset about this!

Also during the extensive 3 hour wait before they even looked at the car, there were other customers cars getting damaged by other customers moving cars around, and customers pulling up hours after I had arrived and they took their car in

I don't normally bother writing reviews, good or bad, but PTA have really let me down, and I am getting very tired of businesses treating customers with such disrespect, I think it is discusting behaviour that they told me order the part (a new horn), and told me they would fit it, to then be told that they are not going to fit it all because they can't be bothered

Yet again Sean and his team have been amazing. My son had his 63 plate Mitsubishi MOT and it failed on a front rod issue. The problem was that no one had the part required here in the Uk or through Mitsubishi directly which was a bit of a worry. It Could mean the car being off the road for weeks or worse still having to buy another car! Sean was brilliant and in his own time managed to source the part from eBay. We wouldn’t have had a clue. The part arrived quickly and it’s all been completed today with a MOT pass now. Thank you all so much. It is so appreciated. We are so lucky to have this team looking after our cars for the past 30 plus years. Our son is so happy.

PTA Shirley booked me in for MOT for Pagio mp3 motorcycle. The receptionist took registration number and confirmed booking. When I get there they said sorry we are not able to do MOT for your bike because they are not equipped well. When I asked why they booked me in a week ago, answer was - we don't know..Very unprofessionally approach to the client. keep away from them!

PTA Edenbridge.
They have carried various bits of work on my VW Touareg and XJ Jaguar. Traditionally I have used main dealers, but as the cars get older, there is a cut off point of wanting to pay their high prices.
All work has been completed as stated and on some occasions cheaper than quoted prices.

Had a problem with my tailgate, a bolt that the gas strut fits unto had broken away from the bodywork and I was told it needed welding by other garages, when I took it to PTA (Shirley) Shaun (the brains) had a long look at it and decided it could be done without welding, by drilling a hole and securing the bolt with a nut at the back. He then got his colleague Wayne to do it and it worked! Thankyou to both Shaun & Wayne who showed great customer service, very friendly & helpful and fitted me in at short notice at the end of the working day, at a very reasonable price.

Many Thanks to the aTeam on Saturday 9th March suddenly realised i had a flat tyre, the team were able to keep my car Mercedes est sort a couple of tyres for Monday 11th fitted same day,Great Service,Many Thanks to the Team.

Oxted PTA are amazing, friendly honest guys, never an issue with advice and getting the car booked in, they always try their best to help out even a short notice.

Great service from South Godstone garage however given my MOT pass last year with no repairs required and only covered 220 miles in a year due to illness was obviously disappointed to received a bill for around £850 for repairs.

I was very impressed with the professionalism and thoughtfulness of the team at South Godstone. MOT and Service completed to schedule and the advisory notes explained to me. I had a few issues too (nails in tyres, can’t find the wheel key thing) and John was proactive with a plan to find a solution. I cannot recommend highly enough.

Great experience. Guys were friendly and professional yet helpful and to the point. Price was reasonably and not over priced. Will definitely recommend and be going back to.

I took my car in to have the brakes fixed, paid £750, the brakes were fixed but now my car looks like a Christmas tree with all the lights on. They say there's nothing they can do and you should go to the Mercedes specialist.
DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR IN THIS GARAGE, YOUR CAR WILL HAVE MORE PROBLEMS WHEN YOU LEAVE IT.

South Godstone branch is an absolute joke. Overcharged for a timing belt change on a Mini, insisted that only a BMW genuine timing chain kit can be used, and told me an oil change is necessary after a further 1000 miles in order to validate their warranty. I subsequently went to an independent BMW specialist who informed me the work done would cost £500 less than PTA charged, there is no need to have a subsequent oil change done, and BMW do not produce a timing chain kit. Is anything PTA say actually correct?
My advice is to avoid PTA unless you have money to waste.
