Poor experience from start to finish
When making payment despite indicating that I am VAT exempt due to disability and all the filled in data indicating that I would be charged at that rate; when checking my bank balance afterwards I noticed that I had been charged an amount including VAT. I contacted them and was told that I would receive a refund of the VAT within 14 days. The 14 days expired yesterday. I have yet to receive the refund and I have been on hold for nearly 40 mins trying to contact them.
Also, when the item was delivered. I received no dispatch notice but returned from a short trip to pick up my prescription to find the item had been left blocking my doorway. I had to recruit neighbours to remove it.

If I could put ZERO stars I would. This company customer/after service is terrible. My golf trolley turned up with scuffs on handle and faded display with scratches. THIS WAS MEANT TO BE NEW!! I have spent 2 months back and forth and spent nearly 1 hour on hold only to be let down by terrible after service. They have now requested I post back the trolley for a full refund as I was not happy with 10% (£25 discount) on a £250 NEW TROLLEY!! but in original packaging.. WHO keeps packaging these days. Then they will refund upon inspection their end. Do they think I am mad, so they end up with the trolley and my money!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS !!!!!!

Description said fits most boots I have a jaguar with what I regard as a big boot but even when dismantled cannot fit all components in boot
Apparently I cannot return due to me not having original packaging

Catalogue of disaster.
I bought my Pro Rider Road King in April 2015.After 29 months it was scrapped as over that time I spent at least £1500 on repairs and parts. New tyres then new solid tyres(after 5 punctures in one tyre) new batteries(which had to be boxed by me and sent for testing .new motor .After 1 year the chassis had been replaced under warranty, The final straw was the chassis breaking again after 29 months. The Engineer and the Boss came to visit (paid for by me) but offered nothing. What annoyed me most that I had it serviced every 6 months from the start. As I can't reply to their response on their post they are lying. They are lying. They offered nothing. I accepted nothing. In fact my new Careco scooter was in the garage next to the Road King. They said it needed a new chassis. No offer of discount. I had the new one anyway. I confirm it was scrapped. Further to latest response. The scooter was scrapped the same day. 29 months use on the flat. No hills. I shall let others decide. This time I am NOT removing the review after you pleaded.

Superb Service & Customer Support
I can highly recommend the service and customer support to anyone who is in the market for a mobility scooter. Superb assistance from Tara, nothing was too much trouble and any queries were quickly and efficiently answered. Very fast delivery of our scooter which was well packed and arrived in pristine condition. A quality product and great value for money. Would have no hesitation in purchasing from Pro Rider again.

Excellent after sales service.
I Had a problem with my mobility scooter and contacted the company. I was very pleased to learn my scooter was still under warranty. I spoke to Tom Wharton who was pleasant and helpful. I had very good customer service and after sales service. I would definitely recommend this company.

Great after sales service
I bought an electric golf trolley but, unfortunately, it had a fault when it arrived. I contacted Pro Rider Mobility and they were very helpful and it was repaired under the warranty at no cost to me. In particular, Tom Wharton (Service and Technical Advisor) went to a lot of trouble personally to make sure that my trolley was repaired and returned to me in a timely manner. Obviously I would have preferred that the trolley was perfect on arrival, but it was very refreshing to experience this level of after sales service and personal attention. I would not hesitate to buy other items from this company.

Nightmare broke down after 5 weeks on…
Nightmare broke down after 5 weeks on the phone for 4 days kept saying thay would ring back but never did finally got an appointment but not for 10 days have to hire a scooter for my disabled wife for 2 weeks I bought 2 of these scooters from new I'm dreading the other one breaking down think I'll sell them at a big loss and get them from a better company

I'm so pleased with my Road King…
I'm so pleased with my Road King scooter. It has enough range that I can go out and not get battery anxiety. I have had it a few years now and like all scooters, needed new batteries to keep it tiptop .
Prorider sold me two new road king 50Ah batteries which were cheaper by far compared to the local mobility shop. MNot only that, they offer vat relief for disabled so I got them even cheaper!
Free delivery and they arrived within 48 hours and fitted perfectly. I'm good for 30 miles at a time (at least !)

Broken axle-mended
Excellent guidance from Tom Wharton when my golf trolley axle broke. He sent me info and parts and when I was unable to complete the repair I was able to take the trolley in the Pro Rider workshop and the repair was completed in 30 minutes.
I believe this service to be very helpful and am most grateful.

Excellent scooter and excellent company
We purchased our Pro Rider Road King 3 years ago from an advert in a national newspaper. That was more luck than judgment, as we knew nothing about scooters, best buys, etc. Our order was placed and subsequently delivered. Since that day it has given superb service and a new lease of life to my husband. Then last week it got a puncture (broken glass in the road). Phoned for a repair and a service, and what a pleasure that was too. Tom spelt everything out to me, and in 3 working days, an engineer arrived and carried out the work required. He was very professional and pleasant and did a first class job of course.
We are so pleased our first decision to buy a scooter was with Pro Rider. Wonderful customer service all round. Many thanks again

My fourth scooter
My fourth scooter but first one from ProRider, if I have to change again, I'll go back to ProRider. Service, both on the phone and in person could not have been better. Delivery of the scooter was only a couple of days late, but that was thanks to the snow not them.

this is my thired prorider king iwas so plesed wit it i let my friend have one then got another ihad it for 4 years ive just got another brill even big enough toget my gog on the floor of the bike and iam out on it every day and i mean not just small runs but long ones out at peast 3 times with the dog he loves it fitted seat belt holders under seat have a harness and his lead perfectly safe brill thank u DENIS

Fast efficient service
Fast efficient service. Talked us through what we needed, and allowed my wife to trial the scooter she felt was right. We were even able to check that it fitted in our car's boot. Once we had chosen, the warehouse guys picked it and loaded it in to the car. Would certainly go back there if necessary

Highly recommended scooter
This is the second prorider freedom scooter we have bought and we have been very pleased with them. We are frequently asked about the scooter which is light, small enough to fit through doorways and easy to manoeuvre . Prorider have been courteous and efficient when we have needed to contact them.

Bought my Pro Rider ROAD King Class 3…
Bought my Pro Rider ROAD King Class 3 Mobility Scooter. Had Great service from Pro Rider. Scooter arrived on date we arranged, fully assembled using their white glove service. Only had scooter about 6 weeks and found a couple of small issues. After speaking to Tom in the service department he arranged with the service manager to get my issues resolved asap I would like to thank Pro Rider for their excellent service. Well done Tom.
