Excellent company and great quality plates! Makes the car look amazing! Customer service is outstanding and if there is any issues they are brilliant sorting it out. Really can't fault it. I also added my own touch which I couldn't do on the website and they had no trouble sorting it for me they go beyond and above to help you. Forget any other companies order with proplates only if you want 100% quality and service!

This is my 3rd purchase from Proplates. Very happy with the product and delivery speedy as usual.

Plates of good quality and arrived promptly. However , I was told to confirm the spacing in the notes section which was obviously missed. Started several online chats and also emailed Without the courtesy of a response. £49 out of pocket and without what I ordered.

Excellent Service, I had a really difficult request on some show plates that I did think were impossible to accomplish, I sent the impossible request into ProPlates and to my surprise Danielle came back with a 'No Problem, we can do that'. sent me an approval email and they were just perfect. Very good service and an easy website to use. Customer service with regard to design assistance was excellent , it may not be instant but it is very helpful and effective. The plate was exactly as required and it arrived quickly. In fact I have ordered a second plate.

Great service , got plates made up to exactly how I wanted , Danielle was very helpful with a couple of different options to chose from. And plates came within a week of me ok,n the design.

Absolutely fantastic company. They will actually go through a true design process with you if they don't already have what you want. They provide design proofs for approval, to get you to a point you have the custom design you want. A true custom plate company where most aren't. I used them for my own car and now use them to provide our motor vehicle company with branded reg plates as well

Beware

When placing the order with proplate, I mentioned in the 'notes section' for them to pay attention to the spacing of the GB logo & car model logo sign to make sure everything was symmetrical, as it was obvious the two logos on the left and right were not symmetrical, when I use their online number plate builder tool..

I even sent them follow up email straight after I received my order confirmation just to confirm thry has received my notes when I placed the order. No one responded to my follow-up email..

To my extreme frustration the number plates have arrived today and not only have they not made the changes to my original request on the order (making sure both logos were symmetrical, they also mixed up the sizes of the number plates.

This is the second time this company has made a mistake as I had a previous error on a number plate a few years ago from them, which they never corrected.

Having used other companies I was recommended to Pro Plates by my son, and found they offered a few more options which were easily navigated on the website and simple to place the order. Plates in 3D Gel style arrived quickly and looked really good, very impressed with the 3D black and grey font. Definitely be using again. Also the yellow rear plate was a nice shade, a deeper golden yellow rather than a cheap bright yellow. 10/10

No issues with the service or quality of the number plates purchased but the road legal number plates are questionable. Website states that they meet DVLA BSAU standards of which one includes printing of the number plate manufacturer’s name and postcode on the plates. The postcode printed on the plates is A91 EF88 which, on a Google search is in Ireland and does not appear to be associated with Pro Plates or any other number plate manufacturer with that postcode which seems dodgy.

In their terms of service section on the website, it states:

“Due to stringent restrictions of trade placed upon the 'Company' by the DVLA, all registration plates, legal or otherwise will be sold to the 'Purchaser' on the basis of being for show use only and the 'Purchaser' may risk prosecution if the registration plates are used on the UK highway.”

Basically, they are saying that their ‘legal’ plates are sold for show use only and that by using them on UK roads may risk prosecution despite mentioning that they sell road legal plates.

With these findings, I feel like there is deception in the advertisement and therefore deem this company untrustworthy which is a shame as the products seem decent.

Nicely made plate, prompt delivery but my request for specific details (within their parameters - alignment and colour) was completely ignored. I even asked that I be contacted before despatch in case clarification was needed. I won't use them again if they can't get basic instructions correct.

My second time using pro plates and can’t fault the communication an quick response in replying to messages.

Top quality plates and shipped out quickly can’t fault these in anyway

Won’t use any one else to make my plates.
