I've written detailed complaints about this company because prior to purchase, all I found were just the most glowing reviews. In hindsight, it was too good to be true. It would have helped greatly to see a broader mix of reviews to help me make a more informed choice so I'm paying this forward.

I found their network very cold in terms of lead generation. Without cold calling contacts, I got no meaningful traction. Plenty of members had similar experiences to mine (some complaining bitterly). I wish they could write their own reviews too.

They failed to match me with people seeking my services and claimed the fault was from my profile and messages being sent to prospects. I have since been using the exact same text on LinkedIn and easily getting hundreds of event attendees and leads. I wish I could include a screenshot of my successful results.

Despite politely asking for a few case studies of what some of those allegedly giving glowing reviews are doing, this company refused for the entire 12 months of my membership. Instead I got an email fault-finding my extensive efforts on their site.

I've been on platforms charging a mere $20 per month yet still managed to go over and beyond to compile a simple pdf with practical examples of what users did to succeed. Yet a 'network' charging over £1,400 refused to do this and rather spent so much time and energy trying to remove the one remaining review on the internet that is less than flattering.

I'd decided since last year to ignore them and keep positive henceforth, only to get an email on the 4th of April 2024 saying I would be removed from their site after my membership finished. This was not the standard end of of service letter. No. This came across as abrupt, threatening and malicious in tone. I did not reply.

Prior to paying, I had a free account on the site - just like hundreds of other people. There are free members on the site as well as paid members. Sure enough, I was soon removed from the site as they had threatened to do.

People should not be attacked for leaving a review of their sad experiences. I am the unhappy payer so why act the victim? Why carry on in such a petty way? There's nothing professional about that. What an irony their name is.

FURTHER RESPONSE: I did not get 170 connections. 8,000 views from who? There is no facility to see who is viewing posts and numbers are exaggerated as only a handful of views are from the actual members. This network is full of cold leads selling their own stuff via email messages. The management acts so petty and attacked me for leaving less than flattering reviews which is why you will struggle to find any online!

My reviews have all been verified by TrustPilot and I sent them both verification of identity and proof of my complaints after this company's multiple failed attempts to remove my reviews.

TRUST PILOT'S PRIVACY POLICY:
"Can I change my username to something other than my name? You can use a pseudonym or change your username to something that makes you less identifiable, or even anonymous, if you like."

Can you see that? Yet they refuse to respect that! On July 25th, 2023, this company threatened via email to expose my privacy here and despite my objection on July 27th did so anyway! Their faulty reply to my review was swiftly reported to TrustPilot and removed in September 2023 for breaching my data/privacy as per GDPR laws.

My personal data was also left exposed on their own site for weeks but they blamed me for it and made excuses. I kept asking them to investigate the technical fault but was not taken seriously. When I emailed pointing out that this was a GDPR Breach, somehow they got their tech team to fix the issue but still continued to deny and blame me for it. However, it is impossible to deny their GDPR Breach on TrustPilot and their continued disrespect of my right to leave an anonymous review by hounding me for it. Such a horrible experience for 12 months with this petty and childish company!

TRUST PILOT's MULTIPLE REVIEW POLICY:
"Review a business multiple times. Things change. Write a new review each time you have a different buying or service experience to give valuable up-to-date feedback to businesses and consumers alike..."

Can you see that? It's common sense but they play the victim despite provoking these poor reviews. Also reviewers are allowed to edit their reviews for clarity yet this company keeps hounding me for that.

I found the 'leadership style' at this company to be tone deaf. They refuse to admit/correct their wrong doing even when there is documented evidence.

I already belong to multiple other networks who treat people with decency and I'm doing great there. You are the one with the problem - frankly. Just improve. Otherwise stop scrubbing off every negative review and let the world see the real truth about you.

I first joined Professionals UK when it only covered Manchester. Since then the data base has expanded throughout the UK and now exploring overseas too. Networking always requires work and an investment of time. Professionals UK don't change that, but they do provide an excellent and ever increasing data base to use as a networking tool.

Been a member for several years now since it was just for the UK and only for the Manchester area. It has gradually expanded into different areas in the UK since then and now has expanded abroad.
