I went to the store where I bought a colander about 6 months ago, because the handle is loose, and will soon come off. I wanted it to be replaced as it is unsatisfactory for something to break in such a short time. The salesperson said without the receipt she couldn’t do anything. The same colander is for sale at £7. We all spend hundreds of Pounds per month and don’t keep receipts for a £7 transaction. I didn’t give my email address when I bought it so there is no record of me buying it.Believe me, I don’t go into shops and have an argument, or spend time emailing messages like this for £7, I’m doing it because I’m annoyed. I shouldn’t have to keep buying replacements because they are poorly made. You should have a policy that allows low priced items to be replaced if faulty without a receipt as clearly people aren’t going to keep them. Appalling customer care.

I went to buy a specific item - a sauté pan - and the assistant couldn’t have been more helpful, suggesting alternatives I hadn’t considered. She went to the stock room to check if they had the one I had originally wanted and also checked on the computer.
I came away happy with a great pan, having spent less than I had feared!

All our exchange of saucepans was done really well as the ladies had a problem , but got it resolved in the end

I have been searching for this size dish for ages. They are the perfect size for two people and suitable for oven to table use. Excellent value for money as they were very reasonably priced. I am delighted with my purchase.

The sales assistant was so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. She really was excellent. We bought far more than we went in for because of her brilliant customer service. We are really happy with our purchases, especially the set of knives which were in the clearance sale. They make preparing and cooking food much more enjoyable. So good.
