Football Trial
Pro11staff are so helpful. This is my second time at their trials. Everything is well organised with enough scouts for every level. The best thing is you know at the end of Trial whether you been scouted.Pro11 is a genuine organisation.Pro11 is good value for money as compared to other Football trial company.

Can highly recommend Pro11 Trials
Can highly recommend Pro11 Trials. I have a 16 year old son who has never really had the opportunity to be seen by a scout so decided to give it a go. The youngsters were split into appropriate age groups and put through some good training routines and a game. There were about a dozen scouts present from numerous clubs ranging from Accrington Stanley to Everton. This resulted in my son being scouted by Sheffield Wednesday which he was ecstatic about!
So if your wondering wether to give it a try definitely do, they are 100% genuine in putting kids in front of scouts and promoting there progression in football, yes your child has to perform but pro trials give them the platform. Also mention for Nicola who organisers and follows up contact etc who was superb. Thank you protrials!

Professional set up
My son attended the pro 11 trials recently and had interest from 2 clubs. I thought the whole set up was organised really and it provided kids across all ages with an opportunity to impress. Every kid was provided with feedback from the coaches at the end of the session which was really good to see.
The coaches were great on the day which consisted of 1 hour for drills and 1 hour for matches.
I would definitely recommend parents/guatdians to take their kids to pro11 trials.

The trial was well organised and ran to schedule.
The session itself was testing and it gives an true insight to the demands of academy training.
My son wasn’t selected, however both my son and I had no issue with that, as we both understood and agreed with the feedback Matthew gave us.
We are looking forward to the next trials.

My daughter attended a trial event at the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed the training, drills and games. The coach was great and spent quality time with all the girls. The scouts came over and interacted with the girls too, giving some sound advice. All in all was a great experience for her. A big thanks to all involved

All the staff were friendly Professional and understanding
All the staff were friendly and professional through out the day. They offered support for the players and parents.
12 scouts arrived. All successful players were told at the end of the trial
Good training drills well communicated and all players involved were given constructive critics.
This is not a hoax as I have experienced with other companies.
I would absolutely recommend Pro-11 Trials. Its Bloody Worth it.

Was not impressed by the trial day
Was not impressed by the trial day, my son and many others, were grouped with 15 year olds, he plays under 13, we could hear the bigger boys saying just push the smaller one out of the way, the younger kids stood no chance at all, I will not book a trial with this company again, as my son was so intimidated, he was crying and wanting to quit football.
Never gain!!!!!

Good evening.
We are sorry that you did not feel your son had a good experience with us at our London trial last week.
The age group you are referring to included players from u13-u15. Unfortunately, as these are open trials, we cannot control the ages of the players who book onto our events and so we have to group them in the best way possible and that usually entails some mixing of ages. In academies good players can be asked to play up to 2 years above their age, to test confidence, strength and resilience, so this is a practice that the scouts who are watching are familiar with.
The scouts who attend are provided with information sheets which show the DOB and playing age of each of the players in each group, so they are aware of the mix of players' ages and will make allowances for younger players accordingly. Very often if they feel that a player has not been given the opportunity to shine as much as they potentially could, they will ask for the player's information to go and watch them further in their grassroots team, in a peer to peer setting that they are comfortable with, following which they can make a decision as to whether they would like to invite the player in for further trials.
We do not wish for any child to be upset, and the behaviour you mention from the other trialists is regrettable. Unfortunately some players do get a little carried away with the competitive aspect of football trials, but had we been made aware of this on the day the coach would have intervened.
We do hope your son is feeling better now, we hope he continues with his football and we wish him well going forward.

We went took our six year old to a trial because he consistently wins man of match, top goal scorer etc.
It was definitely a mistake. Children at this age are grouped with children up to ten years old at least.
Pro 11 will tell you this happens in academies.
As a parent of a child already in an academy … this is completely false.
A six year old would never be competing and playing with ten year olds.
It is extremely hard for a six year old to compete against a ten year old as they obviously have an advantage of experience, height, strength and speed.
If you have a ten year old it might be worth bringing them to this as they are bound to stand out against six year olds.
I would expect my son to stand out if he was playing against three and four year olds.
It was ridiculous to watch to be honest.
I would not recommend this for younger kids at all.

Good morning.
We are sorry that you did not feel your son had a good experience with us at our North West trial yesterday.
Our youngest group yesterday was in fact players aged from u7-u9. Players aged u10-u11 were in a separate group on the rear pitch.
It is true that in academies good players can be asked to play up to 2 years above their age. However, our reasons for grouping players together like this is that as these are open trials, we cannot control the ages of the players who book onto our events and must therefore group them in the best way possible.
In an ideal world we would keep each player just within their own age group, but for example, had we have done this yesterday there would have been just 3 players aged 6 (u7) which of course is an impossible number to play a match with when it comes to that section of the trial.
The scouts are provided with information sheets which show the DOB and playing age of each of the players in each group, so they are aware of the mix of players ages and will make allowances for younger players accordingly. Very often if they feel that a player has not been given the opportunity to shine as much as they potentially could, they will ask for the player's information to go and watch them further in their grassroots team, in a peer to peer setting, following which they can invite them in to the club for a training trial.
Again, unfortunately it is outside our control which players the scouts identify from our trials to take forward, as of course they are working to their own club's criteria, and there were several players at the trial yesterday with academy experience who weren't identified by the 15 clubs who attended, whilst some without any academy experience who were.

Overall my son enjoyed the experience
Overall my son enjoyed the experience, the drills were as expected and he said were fun but he became frustrated during game time, this is where i feel the coaches should have been more involved rather than leaving it to be a free for all and maybe oversee the goalie being changed to allow everyone an opportunity to showcase themselves. U7/8/9/10 left to sort themselves out just didn’t work, maybe would have worked better to group u7/8 and u9/10 together instead in smaller sided games, this would allow more playing time for everyone in my opinion
Updated - no we weren’t advised of any staff shortages on the day and this certainly impacted on the less aggressive boys play, 1 poor lad was dumped in goal for the whole first half and during the 2nd half the scouts weren’t even watching that group.

Our staff may have explained to you on the day that we were a little short staffed for this particular event due to some of our staff isolating with COVID, which meant we had to go with larger groups and mix the ages together a little more than we normally would. But we take on board your feedback and will pass that to the coaches for future trials.

Great experience. The whole trial was really well organised and the coach was so supportive and put the boys through some really good drills. 4 scouts showed an interest so well worth it!

My U11 son attended Pro11 talent ID I was very impressed how organised the team. What I loved about it was finding out on the day whether the players were successful or not and the fact you can speak to the scout if successful. I was so excited when I learnt my son was selected by Crystal Palace and Leyton Orient. Looking forward to seeing what the future holds. I would recommend Pro11 as it’s a big step to getting scouted.
