Went to view a few properties with posh pads recently great service from Leslie all my questions answered promptly and professionally and lots options would massively recommend!

I couldn't be happier with my experience with Posh Pads, especially thanks to Leslie. From the start, Leslie's professionalism and genuine dedication were apparent. She went above and beyond to make sure every step of the letting process was smooth and stress-free. Any questions I had were answered promptly, and she handled everything with a level of care and attention that truly sets her apart. I highly recommend Posh Pads and would gladly deal with Leslie again—thank you for making everything so seamless!

My friends and I recently went out on viewings with the lovely Jade and Alistair. They showed us nice and modern houses that met our requirements. We were originally a group of 6 but then changed to a group of 5. They were more than happy to show us more houses a second time. They found us the perfect house for next year with two bathrooms and parking just like we wanted. We are all very much looking forward to living in our house next year!

I’ve had a great experience with Posh Pads so far! From the outset, there were a few teething issues and people had so many negative things to say to me about them but my personal experience with them so has actually been decent!
Every time I call, their customer service has been outstanding, always responsive and helpful. Most importantly, I’ve definitely noticed improvements since moving in!
I’ve met everyone who works there and they are all so friendly and always smiley! I’m really pleased with the progress and feel confident in my decision to choose them. Will defo resign my house with them next year !!

Very happy with my house on Alma Road. I loved living there with Posh Pads.

Sadly predictably, a year after moving in, this company have decided to withhold over £400 for a 'deep clean' at the end of the year's rental, despite both individual rooms and the house generally being as good if not better than when everyone moved in.

A year ago when the sofas (which should have already been replaced) were dirty, greasy and smelly; the house was damp and stank; you couldn't even get into the garden (which was an unsanitary mess and had no path, just dirt); the woodwork was (and still is) peeling and rotting; the front door was hard to open; and there was mouldy washing up left in the dishwasher. Also told not to involve parents.

During the tenancy, damp and mould continued. Had to rewash clothes in chest of drawers that went mouldy. There were rats in the kitchen.

You get the idea. But the tenants are culpable for a £400+ clean.

From a property agent who also own a cleaning company and property maintenance company.

I'm sure property rental for students is lucrative even for ethical landlords. We shouldn't have to both expect and accept being ripped off, especially after a substandard service.

Avoid.

Utter scum. That is the only way to describe this company. They prey on students and rip them off at every opportunity. DO NOT USE THEM. They over charge on utilities and you end up with a massive bill, one that they will not present evidence for. I repeat they are total scumbags. They bully you into using their cleaners who obviously kick back some of the outrageous fee with the threat of withholding deposit money and use scaremonger tactics at every opportunity. They house was dirty when we moved in with rubbish strewn everywhere yet apparently this was cleaned by their so called cleaners. PLEASE DONT USE EVER. Sleeping on the street is better than dealing with these bullying disgusting individuals.

Shocking company who take advantage of inexperienced and naive students who have their first experience of living away from home. Promise the earth and certainly don’t deliver. Don’t expect to receive your deposit back - they’ll do everything in their power to keep this. Also keep an eye on your “all inclusive” bills package as you can expect a huge bill at the end of your tenancy. We were not the only tenants to experience this. The lady I spoke to when requesting clarification of the sum due was rude and patronising. There are plenty of other student housing companies- use this one at your peril.

July 2023, we moved some items into our daughter’s room in a shared house. She unfortunately had already signed the tenancy agreement as she was out of the country at the time. To our horror, hidden behind the wardrobe there was damp and mould! We reported this straight away and loaded photos onto their ‘reporting system’ (we weren’t allowed to email them). We have lost count of how many phone calls we have made, the majority of them we were told they would get back to us but never did and at one point they dismissed it was actually damp when they had obviously never even looked at the photos! Roll on to the current day and it STILL hasn’t been dealt with! If I could have left no stars on this review I would have done so! They seem to take the issue of damp and mould very lightly when it can cause so many serious health problems for people! We are now currently reporting them to the local Council/Authority in Southampton and the HSE etc. Absolutely horrendous company!

I have been a tenant of posh pads for 2 years and unfortunately i am a tenant of theirs next year. As a student new to renting you could not be paired with a worse company. They will try to rinse you for all you're worth and provide abysmal service to their tenants. I dream of the day when my contract ends and i can once again be happy.

Doesn’t even deserve a 1 star, if -5 star was a thing that’s what this company deserves, manager had attitude from the minute he picked up the phone, Tom was 30 minutes late to the viewing, then said he would drop us home which is inappropriate then went to make a complaint afterwards he picked up the company phone and we got told to f*** off multiple times. Avoid this company with all costs

Hideous experience. Do not rent from this company. Pushy, rude, intimidating behaviour from the management. Disgusting houses.

Nice people showing us round the houses. Very fast to reply and good knowledge of the houses showing us around

Southampton Uni Students Avoid.
Disgusting, bug infested, damp, filthy houses.
Letting agent ignore issues. They do not respond to emails and tell you to use their app so they can further ignore problems. Their motto is 'don't involve parents'. Currently being reported to the property ombudsman and trading standards.

Hands down the worst company to be with. You could probably not occupy the house for the whole tenancy and still they will find a way to not give you your deposit back and charge you for extra energy usage

Should be ZERO stars. Go with any other student housing company and you’ll have a way better experience. At the start of tenancy, you move into a house which is not cleaned and has numerous problems. You tell them about the problem and they take days to reply and weeks to fix these URGENT and health hazard repairs. After the end of tenancy, they charge you for repairs that were not there when you moved out. You won’t get your deposit back, and everyone who has gone with them have never gotten it back too. You will have to pay for extra utility bills and when you try to ask questions about these extra charges, they will not reply to your emails. Me and my housemates were charged thousands for repairs that we were not responsible for. We also payed for the posh pads cleaning service before we moved out because we were threatened that we would not receive our deposit back if we did not go with THEIR cleaning service. However, this is false as the extra charges invoice included cleaning fees. I was also accused of a damaged TV and damaged drawers when me and my housemates didn’t even use that TV once as we were all busy with Uni. This is just two of many extra charges they hit you after the end of your tenancy. Everyone I know has experience the same problem. They only reply when you are about to send them money. Very greedy company and do no care about the well being of students. There are a lot of other student housing companies in southampton and everyone who has gone with them have not had a bad experience , so go with them. When someone at Uni tells you not to go with poshpads, believe them because all the stories are true. I have reported this company to the university student hub and SUSU, and they have told me that this company has received numerous complaints, and students should avoid renting from Posh Pads no matter what. They overcharge, they don’t care about your well being and the employees are rude and unprofessional.

Avoid this Company at all costs!! They are rip off merchants who keep your deposit by saying they need to send in their cleaners at a cost of £450 even though it was in a better state of cleanliness than what it was on arrival, it was disgusting cleanliness before moved in, then charge you for any little mark or thing that was originally there, absolutely disgusting company. They also warn you not to get your parents involved with anything. Rent at your peril.!!!!

liverpool posh pads are just the best in the town for match days
