During a very fast paced moving experience we were delighted with the sale and purchase process provided by Porter Dodson. Our buyer had threatened to pull out by a deadline and Robert in collaboration with McCarthy Stone pulled out all the stops to complete on time. Many thanks too for our face to face meeting when the process was clearly explained to us. This was much appreciated and we would heartily recommend Porter Dodson.

Throughout the purchase of our new house and sale of our own, Caron Abbott was supremely efficient, cool, calm and pragmatic when up against a deadline.
All the documentation was very clear and any mistakes that I made, she was utterly polite in correcting me!

Jodi Street was the solicitor for my family law case, and I will forever be grateful for the work she put in for myself and my family.

Jodi is easy to contact, honest, diligent and I felt able to talk to her openly from the beginning. She worked the case well, ensured I had the best representation in court that I could’ve possibly had, whilst also encouraging me to add my true self into statements.

We asked Caron Abbot of Porter Dodson's Sherborne office to act for us in selling a property. Caron was a pleasure to deal with - polite, to the point, patient especially given the buyer's side of the sale were decidedly fussy, and extremely punctual in handling the communications between the parties. I wouldn't hesitate to ask Caron for help again should we have further legal needs. My wife and I would give Caron a 5star rating however a rather less than satisfactory experience with another branch of Porter Dodson in Wells relating to a different area of business a couple of years ago prevents us giving Porter Dodson as a firm full marks.

We had lousie Wooten for our first house purchase we couldn’t fault her at all she went absolutely above and beyond and did everything she could to make this happen for our first home. We had all paper work filled in and done our side within 2 weeks and If we had any questions we could phone or email and 9 times out of 10 she would answer instant. She had her work cut out for our sale as wasn’t exactly straight forward but she made it happen and went that extra step, we are so glad we went for this company yes a little more expensive but you get what you pay for. Would definitely recommend and use again if needed.
