Pro version give you very few features. So disapointed after paying $90. Better to move to Gamma

I think this is a scam. No way of contacting anyone. Email address doesn't exist. There are no tutorials or response from chat. You can't cancel or adjust payment details.

Overall I want to say that the service really isn't bad and initially customer service was pretty responsive. However after a year I decided I didn't want to renew because it was too expensive and I didn't use everything. I finally figured out how to cancel but they're trying to charge me for this year regardless and then say my subscription will cancel in the following year and I don't want that. I've reached out on every platform they have and they will not respond and I've already canceled through stripe but they continue to try to charge me multiple times a day. At this point I'm considering filing credit fraud charges.

POPAI seems to be another one of those companies whose business model is to get a hold of your CC and then start charges while simultaneously ignoring attempts to cancel account during trial period. POPAI Customer Service does NOT respond to emails but POPAI billing department will keep attempting to charge your card.

A good reason to use reloadable CC for online transactions and not go through the hassle of trying to get refunds (as some other reviewers here are experiencing).

I have been completely scammed and they stole almost 100$ from me.

They promised a 7 day free trial. When I cancelled the pricing on my phone, I still received a notification on my email that free trial is ending soon.

When I showed them my screenshot from phone the day before expiration they completely ignored it, ripped me off and wouldn’t refund. Afterwards they’ve completely ignoring my emails. Is it possible to sue?

Absolute scam. Also, the product is not even good. Powerpoints that are generated are trash.

This is the most user un-friendly, useless website and app I have ever used, even with the pro paid version. Free Chatgpt version is much more useful and can get more done then this utter rubbish. They steal ur money for no reason, don't deliver half of the things they claim they do. And when u pay basic subscription for things expecting to receive the service promised, they ask u to upgrade. Why pay for things I get for free on chatgpt?

Price gauging, lack of privacy standards and transparency. Non trustworth business practices. Do not waste your money and encourage poor consumer manipulation tactics.

They do not give you the ability to cancel. Despite multiple prior attempts to unsubscribe and their assurance that an unsubscribe button is available, I have found no such option in my account settings or email correspondence. This lack of transparency and failure to honor a cancellation request is unacceptable and may violate consumer protection laws.

Wer bei PopAi einen Account anlegt, kommt so schnell nicht mehr raus. Ich habe den Account längst gekündigt, mehrfach. Ich habe schriftlich die sofortige Löschung nach Art. 17 DSGVO verlangt – inklusive Verweis auf meine Rechte, auf die Löschpflichten, auf die Folgen bei Verstoß. Ergebnis?

Ich bin immer noch drin.

Trotz schriftlicher Kündigung. Trotz Fristsetzung. Trotz klarer Ansage. Trotz meiner wiederholten Aufforderung: “Delete my data.” Nichts. Keine Löschung. Keine echte Reaktion. Nur Textbausteine und nutzlose Links.

Und jetzt kommt’s: Das sogenannte „Löschverfahren“ bei PopAi ist nicht nur nutzerunfreundlich, sondern offensichtlich funktionslos. Ich habe den Accountbereich laut System „gekündigt“. Und doch ist mein Zugang weiter aktiv. Ich bin weiterhin eingeloggt, weiterhin sichtbar, weiterhin im System. Ich habe alles gescreencasted. Der nächste Schritt ist der zur Staatsanwaltschaft, ich bin Jurist, für mich ist das Untreue in Tateinheit mit Betrug. Das ist meine Rechtsauffassung, gerichtlich noch nicht bestätigt. Noch nicht. Problematisch ist hier nur der Sitz des Unternehmens, mein Geld werde ich nicht wiedersehen. Muss jetzt erst mal meinen Kartenanbieter darüber in Kenntnis setzen, die Halunken zu blacklisten.

Was unbestritten vorliegt. Ein klarer Verstoß gegen die DSGVO.

Und es ist kein Einzelfall. Ich kann alles belegen:
- Schriftliche Kündigung per Mail
- Aufforderung zur vollständigen Löschung
- Hinweise auf Art. 17 DSGVO und drohende Bußgelder nach Art. 83 DSGVO
- Screenshots, dass der Zugang trotzdem aktiv bleibt
- Mehrfache Kontaktaufnahme ohne Ergebnis

Ich bin Jurist. Ich weiß, was ich tue. Und ich kann jedem nur raten:
!!!! Lasst die Finger von diesem Anbieter.
Was hier läuft, ist nicht nur unprofessionell. Es ist rechtswidrig. !!!!

PopAi kann mich gerne kontaktieren. Ich habe jede E-Mail, jeden Login-Versuch, jeden Schritt dokumentiert. Ich werde das Verfahren an die Datenschutzaufsicht weitergeben. Und ich werde auf jedem mir zur Verfügung stehenden Kanal darüber berichten. Denn das ist mein gutes Recht – und eure verdiente Quittung.

Terrible experience – keeps charging after cancellation

I cancelled my subscription a long time ago and they keep trying to charge my card every month. I’ve contacted support and still no solution. This feels like a scam.

Be careful – once they have your card, they won’t let go. I had to block them through my bank to stop the unauthorized charges.

Avoid this service at all costs.

The tool (at least Pro version) does not support customizable powerpoint themes. They seem to have only one theme which they keep on using (I tried free version and pro version and generated 3 presentations. All were generated with the same theme). If I cannot customize the presentation the way I want, what is the use of this tool. As it happens, the company did not declare this before accepting money from me. I have asked for refund if the tool cannot support customizations, let us see.

SCAM, plain and simple

Scam company, masked as chat gpt4 on Google. They took £55 from my account as a trial period and then another £79 for no reasin

I tried to cancel my subscription but cannot do so.

I subscribed to PopAi's services and was charged $99.9 USD with my authorization but i mailed PopAi and explained that a don't want it's services anymore.

I attempted to cancel the renewal by following their instructions, but their platform is extremely confusing and not user-friendly. When I contacted customer support, I did not receive a timely or clear response. Additionally, they do not provide a straightforward way to remove credit card information from the platform, which further raises serious trust issues.

I had to initiate a chargeback with my bank to protect my money. I do not recommend PopAi

There is no way to cancel your trial subscription PopAi also known as INAI PTE. LTD. is a scam! STAY AWAY

I cancelled 20 minutes after enrolling in a free 7 day risk free trial period because the service was terrible. ZERO instructions on how to cancel so thankfully I found the terms and conditions and the instructions said to cancel by emailing them at their email provided. I did this making it clear I wanted to cancel. They provided insane steps and questionnaires to answer which I immediately did. NO confirmation or anything of cancellation once you jump through their hoops, but I was sure it cancelled. Their email even says “if the option disappears you’re either in the wrong account or it’s cancelled.” Ya, that’s the level of scammers we are dealing with. No options to confirm? Sure… just wait till they charge your card. Well, the option wasn’t there anymore so yay! It was cancelled. Nope. Charged me nearly $100 about 7 days later and then refused to reply for days until I finally got a response saying nope no refunds- even though I have email proof of my cancellation as per their TOS. I initiated a chargeback with my bank and it looks like I’m nowhere near the only one who has.
