Website states that you can get photos for renewing your driving licence, however there are no downloadable photos. It states that the photos must be used within a month and when questioned was told I could use the printed photo. How would anyone know that the photo had been taken more than a month ago. Website totally misleading and not made clear upon purchase in booth.

I honestly regret using this photo booth service. The quality of the photo was absolutely awful, and it didn't look anything like me. It's hard to believe that this is the same kind of service that existed 10 years ago - back then, the photos were at least decent.

At £10 per photo, I expected much more than this. What a rip-off! If I had checked the reviews before, I would have known to steer clear. Don’t waste your money on this. I certainly wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

This company is rubbish and a scam. The code they give to enter into the .Gov website doesn't work and the Customer Experience afterwards is appalling. They take you money - and make it hard for you to get a refund - for a shoddy 'service' that simply does not work. NEVER AGAIN! Avoid this rotten company.

This company is a big fraud. I tried to take picture of my daughter today in one of their booths. My daughter is four. It is not possible in a milion years for a kid to fit in that face recognition circle. But I somehow stand her on that chair and took the picture. Then it said its contactless payment of £10, the card machine wasn’t functional at all but suddenly it started working. They deducted £40. Now I am home and trying to contact the customer service which is extremely frustrating.
What a shame this company is.

-5. Tried 3 booths costing £30 and photos not accepted by passport office. Colour too white in WH Smith’s Orpington. Too orange in The Mall upper level Maidstone and Sainsbury’s at Locksbottom but none accepted. Snappy Snaps in Bromley were spot on. Maidstone booth said they’d refund me but 6 weeks have passed and no refund and wasted 30 mins on texting them just to be lied to regarding refund.

Used Morrisons in store photo both,when i tried to renew my passport on the Gov site it did not recognize the ID number then rang the so called customer service which gives you a recorded message to email or write in your complaint ,it is just a con cannot get refund and photos are non compliant.
Be warned they take your money but you end up with dud photos

What an absolute joke. Used one of their machines and have been trying to apply for my new passport and the code hasn’t worked for a week. Got into contact and told to get another one
Went to snappy snaps this time! A little more expensive but they check your photo to make sure it’s accepted and then you can use the code immediately. I left half an hour ago and already put my code in and works. They cut your print outs also. Fantastic service compared to this company. When it’s usually for a passport, it should not be such an unreliable service. AVOID! Your code won’t work and I wouldn’t advise you to use any of their machines

I'd rate it zero stars if I could! Code did not work for passport renewal so emailed asking them to email me my photo. Denise and Lucy... terrible customer service, Denise in particular. I've sent various screenshots showing I'm doing the right things etc. And they ask if I've clicked submit?! I can use a computer/read!
Finally got the photo sent and surprise surprise, it's not accepted. I haven't got the heart to email then again, just not worth it.
Save yourself the time and money... avoid at all costs. Talk to the wall if you want better conversation!!

Say passport photo, code doesn't work. Avoid.

can't download the photo, help line only refers you to the website, web site has very limited answers, non of which answer mine. WASTE OF MONEY

Machines claim to be UK passport compliant/compatbile but given their size it is impossible to achieve the requirements for head/shoulder positioning. Cannot keep full head in frame AND get enough white space above head AND get enough of the top of shoulders in as required.

Don’t bother! This is meant to be convenient photo booth for passport photos, etc. Except it’s not! The photo was not accepted by gov uk website! So now this turned out to be a headache for me trying to get a refund which is proving difficult! No apology at all in their emails. I provided them with several attachments, and information but still waiting for refund! Shocking, feels like I have been scammed!

I had a query as to how I could save my passport photos digitally so that I could use them in the future. Photo Me's customer service staff gave me clear instructions which helped me to save the photo. Thank you.

This is ridiculous one should be able to pull up ID of photo if you have the code .

The website useless.

Don't waste your time if for a passport.
I got my daughters photo taken for a passport.
The machine said fine.
But on application it was rejected by the passport people as the light from the booth causes reflections on the forehead.
Nothing we can do about the booth lighting.
I have emailed Photo-Me asking for a refund, will update this review if this happens!

Terrible Customer Service and Overcharging Issues

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Photo-Me. I used one of their self-service photo , and the machine charged me doublethe price for a single photo session.

I immediately reported the issue through their official complaint channel, providing all the necessary details, but it is useless , I have yet to receive any response or refund. This lack of accountability is unacceptable for a company of their scale.

I trusted Photo-Me for their convenience, but this experience has been nothing short of frustrating. If you’re considering using their services, beware of potential overcharges and poor customer support. I will not recommend Photo-Me until they improve their service and handle complaints professionally.

Photo me booth Bromley Boots The Glades. Photos just rubbish. Flash didn't operate and like I'm sitting in a darkened room. Totally useless and a waste of money and for the bin. Avoid these booths.

not happy in the past you could use cash in the photo machine but now it says card only at least 4 million people in this country can only use cash especially the elderly and vulnerable

Misleading. I had my photos taken for my new driving licence application. BUT they can't be uploaded to the Gov Website for driving licences. So complete waste of £10.
