Bought a car from this branch.On the journey home the coolant warning light came on. Car had a coolant leak and didn't have satnav sd card. After a lot of back and forth communications, leak was fixed,but the car was handed back in a dangerous state. A fuel pipe was left loose. Petrol was being sprayed all over the top of engine. Not a great experience!

I am very disappointed with the service I received from Peter Vardy Grangemouth. I had an issue with the suspension bush and was advised as I’d only had the car for a month to get it fixed at the manufacturer’s directly. I did so and they charged me £118. I phoned Peter vardy to get the green light and spoke to Kara who said I should never have been told to go to manufacturer and that they would cover it and to just bring in the invoice in order to get reimbursed. I did this and after several weeks, phone calls, emails, apologies I still don’t have my money back. Everyone says they’ll fix it but nobody does. It’s just lies lies lies. None of the staff have any integrity and I’m bitterly disappointed in this. If they’re not going to give me my money back I’d rather just get an honest answer! It’s really sad in this day and age that companies can get away with this!!! If i receive a reply from Peter vardy to this post then please don’t tell me to contact customer services. Been there, done that they don’t care! Your accounts team need to starting paying out please. Surely the company must have some money! Please fix your error! I’m paying enough a month as it is and thought I had full cover for any issues. I’d only had the car 1 month!! Very disappointed! Would not recommend Peter vardy to anyone! Hopefully someone will see this and have the courtesy to help?! It’s unfair, I feel like I’ve been robbed!

Purchased a car from here in October and everything went well or so I thought. Got told the car had all these checks and was in great working order. On the way home I realised the heaters were not working and breaks were sticking, I also mentioned the engine was running a bit rough. Took the car in and they fixed the heating resistor and told me the breaks and everything else was fine on the car. Thought nothing on it especially with the reviews they have. Tired to go to my work today to find the car would not start. Had the car 5 months and now it won’t even drive, having to find a garage that will be able to pick it up or I’ll have to get recovery for that too. Car cost me a fortune and it’s going to cost me even more to get fixed. I will never use Peter vardy again.

Just bought a car today in Grangemouth. Everything took a while but I was able to leave with the car the same day. The experience was not what I normally expect when buying a car. I have previously found buying a car a rather uncomfortable and stressful time but Neil Johnson was pleasant and helpful. The only thing I could mark him down on was that since I had to wait a while for things to go through he didn’t offer me a colouring book even though there were 3 there. Other staff were also friendly and chatted away unlike the silent even grumpy ones I have come across before.

Purchased a car from them, only realised 2 weeks later when we tried to put a private registration plate on the car that the garage hadn't taxed it even though we'd paid the money for the tax to them. I didn't feel the customer service was great the day we bought the car, we were left in a room and neither of them returned for approx 15 minutes.
Car mats were also removed between test driving and pick up.

I have just bought a second hand car from Peter Vardy Grangemouth.
The car is 20 plate Seat Arona excellence automatic.
The service I received from
Neil Johnston was first class,
He took the time to advise me he listened to my concerns about buying a second hand car answered all of my questions in simple to understand language no hard sales bluff.
I was torn between a couple of makes/model of cars.
Having provisionally reserved a manual car at another dealership,
I felt I would prefer an automatic so I popped in just to see what Peter Vardy had compared to what I was about to buy. After speaking with Neil I was impressed by his technical/ mechanical car knowledges and he showed me the seat Arona car explaining all the features and benefits compared to other cars I was educated and decided it would be a better car for me.
Never having driven an automatic he talked me through the workings of the car and took me out on a test drive he was patient and helpful. All in all his disposition and knowledge made it a very informed easy decision for me to go ahead with the purchase. I would highly recommend anyone in the in the central belt area thinking of buying a car new or second hand go to Peter Vardy Grangemouth I hope you get Neil you will be in good hands.
I’m sure the other sales people are competent at their job too.
But I am delighted it was
Neil Johnston that I happened to get on the day. In my opinion he is an asset to the branch’s sales team. I wish him well for the future. I can’t thank him enough.

Neil was excellent in helping me choose a car, unfortunately this time, we were unable due to me being in negative equity, Neil took me for a test drive in a car I was interested on, alas the car was out of my price range, Neil showed me other cars, but I was determined not to go for an older vehicle than I had, I shall return to peter vardy in a few months, and hopefully Neil Johnston will help me again, I could not of asked for a better reception than I had, and I’d recommend when visiting peter vardy in Grangemouth, to ask for Mr Neil Johnston.

Such a fab experience at Peter vardy Grangemouth. Enquired about the car on the Monday and went for a test drive on Tuesday and loved it, then picked it up a week later. Such lovely people to deal with will deffo recommend to anyone, super fast and easy experience! X

If I could opt below 1 star I would. Where to even begin. If you are thinking of getting a car at Peter Vardy CarZ Granegmouth. Think again. The initial service was amazing. Catered to all my needs. Thought I had the best deal. £38 extra to my agreed budget which they claimed would reduce after I paid extra to reduce the monthly cost. Was not the case. Not ideal and a juggling act to accommodate, given I'm a single parent with a disabled child and my own medical needs, I have a heavy reliance on my car. Made an exception thinking at minimum the cost would mean I had a more reliable/dependable car. As per a previous review (ref Miss W) I was told that Tuesday my 02 sensor was faulty. Seems this was false information as its never been replaced. Mysteriously went away. The 23rd. Only days before Christmas I got another garage to look at the car. NO OIL a failing battery and a ,shocked breakdown recovery agent from the AA that established and confirmed my car was broken, not fit to drive (timing belt was gone, cracking and crumbling no oil and.failing battery no 02 advisor on diagnostic machine, just bypassed oil pressure indicators). I was given a member of staffs car over the festive period, for which I am greatful, and equally disspointed. A staff member had a to accept a substitute car to accommodate me, however his belongings and even huge pack of ceramic tiles were in the boot of the car I was given. Basic checks were not carried out and tyre pressure on one tyre was 13!! I got minimal petrol maybe £5-£10 to travel to Dunfermline. Weeks afterwards I was excited to collect my "repaired car" by which point I have started and am pursuing a complaint via the finance company. It took P.V Granegmouth 1 month to even reply and address my concerns about the engine management light reported in November. To then send me away just before Christmas with my financed car where the engine could have exploded, cut out completely and caused me and my young son as well as other road users serious risk and harm (at minimum). Absolute mind blow. No remorse and a lack of apology. Just a now worried manager, who was finally carrying out what should have been the case in the first place (basic communication and curtosey). But this was tarnished by the complete disregard, lack of empathy and customer service. Wonder how they would feel if it was them personally and their children at risk. The car is apparently repaired after a 2nd visit in 5 months since purchase. The car is pulling (tracking/balance wheel alignment off) it's heavy. The car is squealing, 15 minutes into my journey home engine management light returns and my tyre pressure gauge comes on. Take it back. Give them a few hours to resolve and get some fabricated story as to the cause. I'm no mechanic and I know 100% something is WRONG. I take the car home with the apparent fix and reassessment. All mentioned concerns remain. I seek an independent inspection from a 3rd part mechanic. This confirms all my concerns and the recommendation is to return. The engine management comes on AGAIN, and I am now pursuing a rejection on the basis that ample opportunity for repair and resolution has existed to no avail. I was told I would be supported in my decision. However again the lacking in communication empathy, customer service and just basic principles have reached lows I never knew existed. I do not trust or have faith in the company. Absolutely NO effort has been made to resolve, respond or help....in a situation that is not fault of my own. I have paid almost £2000 so far for a car I have driven maybe for 4 months. No gain. I have driven a courtesy car for around 1 month in total and a member of staffs car for 2-3 weeks. I have lost earnings. Been let down and delt with unfair treatment from staff in branch that had attitude when I called as they knew it was me and had likely heard about my story. Its been worse than I ever imagined. And ample opportunity has been given for resolve and accountability. No faith in P.V and will never recommend to others. Such a shame. P.V please don't contact me to resolve. As facts are facts. I have proof and of my complaint and evidence to validate all my claims. If its not resolved I will escalate to the ombudsman. Again something I
advised. I also did state that I would report on trust pilot so no one has to endure what I have. I hope this lesson evolves into improving the service you claim to deliver, as it has certainly not been my experience. Do your research on reviews and feedback before making a consecutive choice folks. Disspointed and disheartened customer 😔😔

Initially spoke with Michael and Scott then after confirming I’d like to go ahead with the purchase I then spoke with Hunter via phone throughout the reminder of the process. All the team were great and the communication was brilliant throughout also. Would highly recommend the team at Grangemouth.
