We had the most perfect wedding in Malta. This company helped us from the very start until the very end. We can’t thank them enough for all they done from booking the wedding to all the legal paperwork and then making sure everything went smoothly on the day

Our wedding at Adriana beach resort was amazing, Marta the wedding coordinator was fantastic and answered all my questions to the run up to the wedding she helped on the day too to make sure everything was perfect!
We had show case productions (Jolie & Saul) for our videographers & photographers they were amazing. We also had blush algarve (Nickie) who done our wedding decorations that looked beautiful! The whole process of booking our wedding through perfect weddings abroad was so good and stress free.. someone was always a call or email away to help with anything I needed!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Perfect Weddings! Planning a wedding abroad felt daunting at first, but from the very beginning, their team made everything seamless, stress-free, and truly magical.

They were professional, communicative, and genuinely cared about every detail—from venue selection and vendor coordination to travel logistics and guest accommodations. Their local knowledge and connections made a world of difference, and it was clear they had experience and passion for destination weddings.

On the day itself, everything ran like clockwork. The setting was breathtaking, the ceremony was beautifully organised, and the entire experience far exceeded our expectations. Many of our guests said it was the most beautiful wedding they’ve ever attended!

If you’re thinking about a destination wedding, I wholeheartedly recommend Perfect Weddings! They turned our dream wedding into a reality, and we’re forever grateful.

Wedding Review – St Raphael Resort, Cyprus (21.10.19)

To begin on a positive note: our wedding day at the St Raphael Resort was truly beautiful. The hotel staff went above and beyond to make us feel like VIPs, and our guests had a fantastic time throughout the entire week. I would return to this resort in a heartbeat. Natalie, the hotel’s wedding coordinator, was absolutely amazing—helpful, responsive, and supportive from the moment we booked until the big day. Evelyn, the PWA coordinator based at the resort, was also great once we met her in person, but unfortunately, we had no direct contact with her before arriving in Cyprus.

That said, I would not recommend Perfect Weddings Abroad to anyone. Despite their glowing reviews, the experience was incredibly disappointing and not worth the money we paid for their supposed planning services. I felt that all the real support came from Natalie at the hotel, and with her help, I could have planned the wedding directly—saving both time and money.

The UK PWA team were very slow to respond, especially in the final weeks leading up to the wedding. They had little useful information themselves and had to contact Evelyn for everything, which meant delays of days or even weeks. Three weeks before the wedding, I only knew the date, time, and location—no confirmation on flowers, décor, or what would even be included in our package. According to their own timeline, the resort coordinator should have contacted me 12 weeks prior to discuss details, but that never happened.

There’s a serious communication gap between the UK team, the resort team, and the couple—which made things feel disjointed, frustrating, and unnecessarily stressful. In the end, I sourced and brought most of my décor myself, because the quotes I received from PWA for simple items like chair bows were unreasonably high.

We were also misled about the construction of a tower next to the hotel. We were told it would be completed by our arrival and wouldn’t affect our day—but it was far from finished. The unfinished building appeared in many of our wedding photos (which had to be Photoshopped out), and the noise around the pool from construction work made the atmosphere less enjoyable.

The “premium” photography package was disappointing. It only included about 2.5 hours of coverage—just before the ceremony, the ceremony itself, and sunset photos. Anything more was £150 per hour. The included photo album had space for only 47 photos, and digital copies were £7 per image, which felt excessive. The video quality was poor, and nothing from the reception was included—even though the package implied full-day coverage.

There was also a lack of transparency around legal requirements. I don’t hold a British passport and only found out months later—after booking—that I would need additional documents that I couldn’t get in time. We ended up legally marrying in the UK and having a symbolic ceremony in Cyprus. This was a major detail that should have been communicated much earlier.

When it came to flowers and décor, again—shop around. PWA’s prices were far above what I found independently. The only items I got through them were the bridal/bridesmaids’ flowers and buttonholes, which didn’t even match the colours I’d requested, despite sending detailed photo references.

In Summary:
• St Raphael Resort & Natalie (the hotel’s planner) were fantastic.
• PWA added stress, confusion, and extra cost for very little support.
• Communication was poor, timelines were ignored, and planning was mostly left to us.
• Photography and video were low quality and riddled with hidden costs.
• Legal and logistical advice was inadequate and late.

While the day turned out beautifully (thanks largely to our own efforts and the amazing resort staff), I absolutely regret using PWA. They did not deliver what they promised, and if I could do it again, I would book directly with the hotel or choose a different planning company altogether.

If you’ve already booked with them, don’t panic—your day can still be wonderful. Just be prepared to take the reins yourself and double-check everything. It will come together, but probably not because of them.

We contacted Alison beginning of the week and have booked our wedding in Cyprus for September already. Alison has been so helpful and comes back to me so quickly with every enquiry.

Amazing customer service from Maria. Enquired on Monday and booked our dream wedding today (Thursday) no question was too much for Maria and she has been amazing from the very beginning. Maria has been transparent and friendly as well as personable. We was put at ease the moment we spoke to her and myself and my partner cannot wait to plan our dream day with the help of Maria.

Still floating after the most incredible day of our lives 💫 We tied the knot in stunning Cyprus this May, and it truly was everything we dreamed of and more.

None of it would’ve been possible without Perfect Weddings Abroad, who took all the stress out of planning from start to finish. They not only planned our wedding to absolute perfection but also helped us book the entire holiday. 🌸 Our florist and venue stylist made the ceremony feel like a romantic movie set – soft pastels, fresh blooms, and the most beautiful bouquet I’ve ever held.

🎷 And the entertainment? A DJ + live sax combo that had everyone dancing all night long. Think sunset vibes turning into the best party ever.

If you’re dreaming of a destination wedding that’s as magical as it is seamless – Cyprus in May is perfection. Warm breezes, golden light, and memories to last a lifetime 💍🌅

I would definitely recommend booking with perfect weddings abroad, nothing is too much for them, I wish I could do it all over again.

Got married in Cyprus on Sirens Beach & our reception at Nissaki Taverna on 19th of May 25. We went for the luxury wedding package with; hair, make up, flowers, button holes, transport, legal fees, food, 4 hour open bar, DJ and photographer included. Everything went smoothly on the day and all the different vendors worked well together. We had a small intimate wedding with only 12 people BUT it was the best day ever. Everyone danced all night and a great time we had by all. The weather was absolutely beautiful and we had our photos delivered the following day! So many memories to look back on what a wonderful day we had.

We have just finished booking my sisters wedding with Melanie, where her knowledge and expertise in Cyprus and wedding venues was amazing. Melanie has been super attentive, responsive and patient with us. Can't wait to continue working with the team.

Jade has been amazing! She is so knowledgeable, really supportive and reassuring, she’s practically become a friend. I’m so pleased and relieved we found this company to plan our wedding, they make things super easy and I can’t wait to see what’s in store.

The whole experience was amazing from start to finish, From Jade Edwards booking the venue and our Travel for ourselves and our 64 guests, she went above and beyond to make sure everyone was able to travel and get into our hotel. We have just come back from Cyprus where we got married at Palio Monastiro in Paphos. All I can say is WOW. I cannot say enough about how helpful everybody has been. The whole process has more or less been stress free.
The knowledge and experience Melanie has in order to help find the perfect wedding venue for us through to Donna with all the Legal help and then to Louise our resort co-ordinator, we cannot say thank you enough. Louise met us when we went to Cyprus in December and kept in touch and nothing was ever too much for her.

I don’t even know where to start. We’ve just come back from the most magical time of our lives after getting married in Cyprus! Melanie had dealt with all our bookings through the process and was always so helpful and patient with us. Jayne and Lisa where also wonderful and where always there when I needed help or needed a question answered, nothing was ever too much trouble for anyone and that is what you need when you are planning the most stressful, most amazing time of your life. We got married at Palio monastiro in Peyeia and I honestly couldn’t recommend enough - we upgraded to the Palio monastiro BBQ menu and it was out of this world!! We were so made up with everything through out the day and they made everything so much easier for us!

Jade has been fantastic with both myself and Sian, would highly recommend.
