Forum for posting bargains, saved me lots of money over the years.

It is not a store, 1 star reviewers on here talking about ordering mowers, whipper snippers etc via Facebook link are reviewing the wrong company, OzBargain doesn't sell goods.

Ozbargain also has random discussion forum topics from the community - they can be relevant, they can be good, they can be political or go off on tangents. You can participate at your own will, or just ignore them, comment or don't! ... It's just a place to chat.
[Note: Some 1 star reviewers on here are just salty they got banned by mods or the community piled negative feedback on them for controversial comments / attacks etc] - However you can just ignore certain pages, unsubscribe from them or change settings, or even delete your comments if not well received or better yet, if you can't take criticism, just don't comment! Website is fine.

I don't know what I would do without this website. Finding anything and everything I need (and some things I may not :-)) Very professional process to the new updates.

OzBargain is not a store.

It is a website where consumers can post the bargains they discovered.
People can discuss the bargains and products on deals posted.

Blame Facebook if your getting scam ads. OZbargin is fine, read the comments.

i Love OZB - visit daily. idk what all the negative comments are about.. they are complaining about the forum.. the point of the website is about the deals not the forum.

Paid the money never received the goods...tried to contact. Do not buy from these people...they are scammers

Ordered a lawn trimmer through a link on Facebook.
Received an acknowledgement of the order but no answers with any of the multiple follow ups.
Contacted OzBargain direct and all I got was some sort of AI answer getting the fob-off contact the seller direct,
Absolutely useless, save your money and purchase of anyone other than these scam artists.

OzBargain is a very accurate representation of modern Australia. If you live in Australia and have paid attention to what’s been happening to the country over the past 30 years you’ll understand what I’m talking about but if you don’t I’ll lay out it out here.

Australia is now a country full of anti-intellectual, selfish, inconsiderate, callous clowns and that is exactly what OzBargain is. Just like arrogant, pretentious and smug Australian politicians who think they know everything as well as evil spouses who won’t listen to any concerns their partner has about them (e.g. “Why did you come home at 3 am last night?” “IT’S NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS!”), the owner of this website and its moderators will dismiss any criticisms towards them, even when those criticisms are backed by actual data. They think they can do anything they want simply because they have a monopoly on Australian bargain websites. Similar to authoritarian governments, they are at the point where any criticisms (even in the form of sensible feedback devoid of any harsh language) are not acknowledged at all and instead you just get binned or outright banned.

The user base of this website is also predominantly abhorrent and not too dissimilar to reddit, especially on the forums where replies that are condescending, trollish, completely unhelpful and absolutely stupid get the most upvotes. And if you report these pointless comments the moderators will bin or ban you. These replies also mostly come from a very small and protected group of anti-intellectual users whose usernames have been mentioned on ProductReview and who the moderators worship because they are entertained by the anti-intellectual and insipid remarks that these “people” make. If you like stupidity in its most purest form, visit the forums.

It is unsurprising to me that the vast majority of people on this website behave in such a heartless and evil manner because the website itself promotes materialism on a massive and extreme scale. The people who like this website care only about acquiring as many physical goods as they can at the lowest price possible. They are the most saddest, selfish, materialistic and hate-filled people I've ever had the displeasure of coming across. Everyone on this website is of the belief that the more you have, whether it be money or material goods, the more valuable or good you are as a person which is beyond demonic. There is a quote in the bible from Jesus that states the following:

“I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.”

So the joke is really on all these OzBargain users who think they are rich. They may own many material possessions but in truth they are actually very sad people who will never feel happy or satisfied (especially the moderators). Even if the users on this website owned every single property in Australia, every single company and had trillions of dollars they would STILL be unhappy and crave more, just like locusts. They are just like the people who are [secretly] in charge of flooding Australia with immigrants and those who are actually flooding the country from one particular country; selfish, inconsiderate, rude, anti-intellectual, materialistic, consumerist, wasteful. They destroy all that is beautiful in this world.

The greatest irony is that if you google “OzBargain reviews” you’ll find threads on their forums from clueless people asking “WhY iS oZbArGaIn ReViEwEd sO BaDlY?” Just like Australian politicians who live on a completely different planet and think their actions are actually beneficial for society the owner of OzBargain, the moderators and community are of the exact same ilk. The truly sad part is that if you actually try to enlighten them, they won't listen to you at all (just like how Australian politicians behave). There's even a victim-like comment from the owner of the website on the forums that says they were considering addressing every single negative review on the forums, i.e. they were going to hang, draw and quarter EVERY SINGLE NEGATIVE REVIEW ABOUT THEM. If people can’t see how insane that is then they need serious help. Is it OzBargain or NKBargain?

And for the record I am not AI nor did I use AI to write this. People who are in ignorant disbelief that OzBargain could get such bad reviews always make up copium by saying nonsense like “All those reviews are AI” to comfort themselves.

OzBargain is truly a force of evil and depravity. It is the Synagogue of Satan and a place where hatred is espoused and encouraged. The White-washed owner seems to know nothing about his roots, Confucianism, goodness and respect and instead peddles extreme capitalism and materialism.

I think the current day admins are out of control. They do things such as put you in the penalty box when it was you that made the report in the first place. In relation to the ban, they say "This is not negotiable and moderators will not reply to any requests in the TWAM forum to remove or reduce the ban." The least they can do is discuss the ban in question so the user can learn more about why they were banned and how they determined the ban period. In any event, I think the site is as bad as I've seen it in a long time so it's no major loss to me.

Cannot get a reply from them having ordered and paid for a PetRide Guard nearly a month ago. As such this business looks like a total scam. Good damn reason to never buy anything over the internet again. These people need to be prosecuted.

The mods ruin the experience for me, including 'hamza23', who I believe is overly aggressive and shuts down communication. It doesn't cost anything to be nice. I feel mods like this try to be dominant and act on the little power they're given to hurt the experience of others.

Worst website i have ever been to, when you try to submit a post or even comment they ban you and block you. Such a scam, these websites should be pulled down.

Circlejerk hypocritical toxic consumerist far right community.

Even the "Voting guidelines" state that:

Use a positive vote when: "you feel the deal is good"
Don't use a negative vote when: "I don't think it's a good deal"

Been a member for a few years now, tried to sell gift cards that I didn’t want, but post got taken down because the mods there are petty and don’t want me selling my gift cards. site has 100% gone down, mod team seems unreasonable, wouldn’t recommend this site as it’s gone downhill

OzBargain has gone completely downhill in my view. The current mods are the worst I've seen in 20+ years of forum usage. It appears to me that the founder has checked out and doesn't care. This inept and incompetent group of mods are running riot, getting the power from forums that they likely can't get in real life.

Terribly operated and administered site.
Consistent bullying, the admins either don't address it when reported, or take sides.

The most disgusting platform in Australia. Full of scammers and toxic people. The admin is the main culprit. I am notifying federal police for investigating for his falsified behavior through OZbargain.com.au ! Be alert ! Never share your email. They will send spamming email which may damage your computer system.

Terrible site moderators wanting to be keyboard warriors more then finding the best deal or helping people list deals

This is pure rubbish if you ask a question and not in line with their advertisers you get banned, don't ask any questions.....wow

After messaging sellers/buyers from classfield section I suddenly received a ban from private messaging without warning because "alot of new accounts are registering and scamming lately with gift cards".. yep that was there sole reason for my ban.
