Poor customer support on delivery related problems
Support was required from Outnorth du to delivery problems (took 20 days from Outnorth to pick-up point) as delivery company requires the sender to raise the reclamation. The package had been traveling back an forth between Outnorth, Sweden and Finland already once and was in danger to be shipped back to Sweden for a second time unless I had sorted out the issue myself. (According to PostNordin there was a mismatch between the service myPack Home vs. myPack Collectin)
Stars:
-One star for receiving the shipment finally (although I hade to solve the issue myself with PostNord without support from Outnorth)
-2nd star for the replies on my queries generally received within two days from Outnorth
Outnorth could have earned more starts with a pro-active actions:
-Being in contact with PostNord to clarify why the shipment was initially sent back and not delivered to me (PostNord does not provide these details to the recipient)
-Updating me on their “delivery issues investigations” results, that did not seem to make a difference/did not provide any proof of such activity in first place
I think the issues had been solved faster and it would have saved me the efforts if Outnorth had taken above actions
Unprofessional and discriminatory businesses policy
While the company offers discounts on all items for citizens of Germany, Denmark, Finland, Sweden and Norway, this does not apply to "international customers". They divide us European citizens into first-class and second-class citizens. Unprofessional and discriminatory business policy.
Not returning the money (problem resolved)
Problem that I described below got resolved. Unfortunately it took almost 20 days to resolve. Will give this store another chance. :) Changing the rating from 1 to 3.
I ordered a winter jacket from Outnorth. Everything went well unil I had to send it back as I had chosen the wrong size. The problems started when Outnorth, after the post had tried one unsuccessful delivery attempt on 8 November, failed to pick the returned product up. It is 22 November and the package is still not picked up. I bought a new jacked from them (stupid of me?), but I still haven't received a return of money from the first purchase. Their customer service keeps giving promises but with no clear evidence of fulfiling them. Will update this review if anything changes. So far Outnorth owes me 158 EUR.

De erbjuder hjälp med att makulera ordern när man frågar varför de dröjer samt 10% rabatt på den fösta försenade order. Lockande när man köpt en komplett camping utrustning för dryga 8tkr och planerat resa 2v senare. Ångrar skarpt att jag inte avbeställde direkt så jag kunde ha chans att hinna köpa leta upp ny utrustning .
Svåra att få tag på ! Minskat öppetider på kundservice och skyller på att de inte har insyn i beställda ordrar , så varför då ens ha en kundservice , bättre att kalla sig makuleringservice då de erbjuder de snabbt in i samtal och på Mail.
Lovar att återkomma under dagen .. ni kan ju räkna ut hur de blev!! Mobilen och mailen stod redo, pling=nej plong= nej
Bättre att erbjuda att ringa ner till lagret och berätta att denna kunden är jobbig som f..N , gör mig en tjänst och packa ihopp hans varor och skicka iväg dom de ligger ju i facken där nere, kunden har även erbjudit sig att själv hämta varorna med men de ville vi inte. Fast han jobbar i lokalerna bredvid på Volvo .

Bruker lang tid på å sende ut varene, sier de er på lager i Norge så viser det seg at de må sende fra Sverige ved henvendelse nummer 2. Og at de ennå ikke har sendt varene derfra. Veldig lite effektivt, og en tur som ikke blir som planlagt fordi de ikke klarer å sende ut varene tidsnok. Det er jo rett ut løgn når de lover en ting i telefonen men gjør noe annet (eller ikke gjør noe). Svarer ikke på epost heller. Min første handleopplevelse og sannsynligvis den siste hos Outnorth.

66 North Hengill jacket. The material is soft and feels good when wearing. The adjustable hood is an added bonus. The jacket is well-made with good attention to detail.
I would not recommend this webshop to a friend, because it took a PayPal dispute to finally get things done
I had ordered hiking boots at Outnorth, which were quite cheap compared to other webshops. Delivery of the boots was reasonably in time, but the boots squeezed my toes so I had to return them.
This is when the problems started. Since there was no return form included in the delivery, I looked for it on their website. Just a FAQ with a return address, so I returned the product in its original packing to Sweden just 1 day after delivery (2 May) and stated on the invoice why I sent it back and that I wanted a refund.
I returned the order with track&trace, so I got a message by 8 May that Outnorth signed for delivery.
I know it can take some time to process, especially with a bigger organisation, so I waited till 14 May before contacting Outnorth.
I asked when they would be transferring the repurchase to my PayPal account, because I was informed by my transport company that they had received the returned order.
Within two hours I got a reply from Ournorth, telling me I need to use a return form that I could download at a supplied link.
At first I thought I must have missed something, but it turned out the link did not (and as of writing still doesn't) contain a return form. This meant sending another email, requesting where I could download the return form.
The following day I got a reply apologising for this "bug on our website" and actually telling me I don't really need this form "as you can use just a piece of paper and fill on the products you are returning, and if you want to make an exchange or you want to have your money back".
Because this is exactly what I had done when I returned the goods, I started having doubts about their competence. To be sure they got the message I did spell it out for them in my reply email, stating in chronological order what I had done and what I expected of them.
On 16 May I got a reply telling me they hadn't yet registered my return order and that I would be notified when it was processed.
On 21 May I got an email in which they wrote that they had received my return order. It also stated that my order would be sent within 7-10 days.
Now this is confusing. I did not want to be a bother, so I waited a few more days to see what would happen.
On 27 May I asked Outnorth once again when they would be refunding my purchase on PayPal, since they sent me a return order message on 21 May.
I didn't get any response to that.
Because you need to open a dispute on PayPal within 45 days of purchase, I did not want to wait anymore by 2 June. So I finally opened the dispute. In short I once again stated what happend and what I wanted.
The same day I got a refund, not just of my order, but also of my initial shipping costs. And I finally got a reply to my last email in which they wrote they were really sorry for the delay "which was due to a confusion which led us to handle your return as a complaint/reclaim". Because of this they gave me a discount of 10% on my next purchase, which is valid for one month and one purchase.
In the end I got my money back, but it took me a lot of effort and wasted time. I would not recommend this company to a friend, because it took a PayPal dispute to finally get things done.
