outfoxfordogs.com Recensioni

I have a french bulldog that loves to scavenge on walks. I've tried other "masks" for her in the past but she refused to keep them on. After a recent trip to the vet because she swallowed some seeds from a palm tree I decided to search for a solution to the scavenging and came across the OutFox field guard. My pup may turn some heads while out on walks but its prevented the scavenging and provided great peace of mind. Best of all, she doesn't try to fight or wiggle out of it.

Great fit, fast delivery

My guys are always trampling through the woods and since I can’t always keep up with them I rely on their “Bonnets’ to protect their faces.
Also helps to keep them from eating miscellaneous animal poo.
I’ve been using Out Fox for 7 years for my pack.

This is a well made, quality product! The instructions were easy, and it worked great for out Lab who eats everything. She adapted instantly and was not stressed. Able to enjoy outdoor adventures that were problematic otherwise.

I've been using Out Fox Field Guards for my dogs for some time now, and recommend them to my clients for their dogs to prevent foxtail injury, scrounging, coprophagia, etc while out and about in open spaces. They dogs don't mind wearing them (I believe the dogs like having treats dropped in before donning, so they look forward to having the hood put on). Highly recommend this product.

After spending #%&*%$#$ for issues relating to foxtails up the nose for my grandpuppy, we are now being pro-active about her wearing this 'outfox' netted guard. It's easy to put on and take off. She doesn't mind it at all. (It's nice and loose around the face. She can still pick up pine cones and sticks while wearing it. We do get a lot of questions on our walks for sure!

These are the best! We have two King Charles Cavaliers, and placing their treats in the shield makes it so easy and effortless to put on. One of our dogs had an obstruction from acorns back in 2022—thankfully, she’s learned her lesson—but our other one still loves to try and sneak an acorn off the ground. This completely takes away the worry and lets us enjoy our walks this time of year. Highly recommend! Fast shipping, too.

So far so good! This was recommended to me by our vet to help my dog stop scavenging because of SARDS, but it also helps protect her eyes since the hood will hit whatever brush before it can get to her eye. I like that it’s easily washable with soap and water and dries quickly.

seems to be good quality and received the hoods very quickly

The dog was able slip it off twice.

Great quality! It will keep your dog safe by not allowing them to eat things they’re not supposed to or get foxtails in their nose/mouth/ears.

Terrible customer service. I bought a $70 hood about a week ago. The cord broke and I asked for an exchange. David Ramirez from the company sent me a YouTube video about how to re-cord the product myself. Ridiculous

Very high quality foxtail guard. Website easy to navigate. Clear instructions on sizing, which was totally accurate. Order processed fast, arrived in practically no time. Company very responsive to emails. I had signed up for discount on first order, but never got the code for the discount. I emailed company on weekend and received response within a half an hour, thanking me for my interest and providing me with a code for the discount! Highly recommend!

Such a great product. After an emergency foxtail experience at the vet I have been so paranoid walking my dog. I was skeptical how he would take to the product but he took to it quickly and is unbothered. A must for hiking/ California summers!

One of the best purchases I've ever made!! I have a Boston that snarks up anything he can get close to!! Ending up in emergency already once $$$$. Now our walks are so much more fun!! No anxiety on my end and he still can sniffari with his dog siblings!! He doesn't even seem to notice he's wearing it. Still able to drink with no problems!!! Such a relief!!

We have purchased Outfox field guard for our 3 dogs previously and they were good. This time around when I purchased them they smelled like pthalates (for those who don't remember what pthalates are-they smell like old shower curtains and are toxic to humans and animals) . The elastic band that goes around the neck is also too short preventing it from being opened completely for ease on/ off. Will be looking for other alternates since they have become cheap with their product.

Easy to order and arrived quickly. The quality of the product is excellent and is worth its weight in gold. We never have to worry about our dogs accidentally getting a foxtail burr in their nose, eyes, or ears. It was easy to train them to accept the hoods and they were so happy to be able to sniff to their heart's content without us yelling, "No! Stay out of the foxtails!!".

I never received an email code for 10% off. I mentioned it on the order and they refunded me the 10% after the fact and advised me in an email. Thats good customer service. Hood works well on my dog too..
