Original Penguin’s online storefront offers a visually appealing experience that unfortunately stumbles when it comes to the logistics of saving money. While the site excels in presentation, the backend friction regarding rewards and discounts can make the final steps of a purchase feel like a chore.
The Highlights
• Ease of Use: The website is generally intuitive and easy to navigate. The layout is clean, allowing users to browse through collections without feeling overwhelmed by clutter. 
• Visual Presentation: Product pages are a standout feature. They provide multiple and clear product images, offering various angles and detail shots that give a realistic expectation of the garment's fit and fabric.
The Hurdles
• Clunky Checkout Logic: One of the more frustrating aspects is that rewards and discounts must be entered separately. This adds unnecessary steps to the checkout flow and can be confusing for customers trying to stack or choose between offers.
• Reward Inaccessibility: Accessing account-based rewards is surprisingly difficult. Instead of being prominently displayed or automatically suggested at checkout, they feel "buried" within the account interface.
• Manual Discount Application: Despite flashy banners advertising site-wide deals, discounts often fail to apply automatically. Users are frequently forced to hunt for and manually enter codes that should have been triggered by the items in their cart.
The Verdict: Great for window shopping and browsing, but the checkout process needs a significant "user-friendliness" upgrade to match the high quality of the apparel.

Great quality items, though price isn’t always great and shipping wasn’t particularly speedy

Have purchased several pairs of pants and polos. Super-happy with all of them!! Easy site to navigate.

I've purchased multiple Basic Core Tees from Original Penguin and they all develop the same defect: the fabric tears around the inner label area after minimal use.

I reported this issue months ago with photos, and they acknowledged it — yet nothing changed. What's most telling is that if you look at their own product photos on their website right now, you can clearly see the same damage in the neck/label area on the model. They are aware of this manufacturing defect and are still selling the product as-is.

This is not a wear-and-tear issue. This is a structural defect that Original Penguin knows about and has chosen to ignore. Buyers beware.

The quality of the clothes and prices are great, but when it comes to delivering the orders I am never able to track anything and never know where anything is until its at my door.

Penguin has always had excellent customer service, especially their Las Vegas Store (my favorite) their quality is fantastic, always classy yet professional. I recommend Penguin to anyone I can. Thank you to each and every one of you who make penguin Penguin. Love love love your brand. ❤️

The quality of the clothing is great, the sizing is generally accurate, and any issues are quickly resolved.

Ordered 3 pairs of Penguin shorts. Received a package with Perry Ellis sport jacket, slacks, dress shirts and socks. Obviously someone switched mailing labels with someone who ordered for a wedding, prom, funeral or similar. Previous Penguin order, one of the pairs of shorts had an obviously bad seam. Did get a refund for that.

I have been a costumer for a few years and I love the quality of the product but the last 4 or 5 orders they’ve been cancelled for no reason.
