I cannot praise the staff at On Your Bike in East Grinstead more highly. I recently bought two 'Volt' folding electric bicycles. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, but there was no hard sell at any time which was lovely. The bicycles have both surpassed our expectations. I had a little glitch on mine, yet On Your Bike took it in for a service without question. The bike was tested, stripped and rebuilt very quickly. The service was stunning. Good old-fashioned service, but all with modern technology. They can teach so many other businesses about how to treat the customer properly. It is a real pleasure to go there, and I know that both my bicycle and I are being given excellent service. Thank you.

I cannot recommend Michelle and her team enough when it comes to anything bike related. I am taking on a huge challenge next year and needed to buy the right bike to complete it. From start to finish Michelle and her team were knowledgeable, informative, helpful, and really made the whole experience of finding the right bike stressfree. I would highly recommend On Your Bike to anyone, and will definietly be returning in the future. Thank You :)

A massive thank you to Michelle and her dedicated, professional team. I can't rate them highly enough. I had a problem with my Haibike electric motor that was quickly resolved with their assistance. I've been a customer of the East Grinstead store since 2015 and will keep coming back for servicing, advice, assistance or just a good honest friendly chat over a cuppa.

On your Bike London Bridge store is an amazing bike shop with super friendly staff and nothing is too much.
They kept me updated with my new bike and the bike assembly was spot on.

I have used this store (Felbridge/East Grinstead) twice recently, once for a stuck chain which occurred whilst out riding nearby and once seeking a minor spare (unusual nut and bolt). For the chain problem the mechanic fitted me in after a short wait and I was even offered refreshment whilst I waited. Secondly for the spare it was supplied free of charge. The staff always appear friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I have no hesitation in recommending this store from my experience of using it.

We visited the Boldmere shop in early November to seek advice about what bike we should be getting for a rather large 3 year old who needs her first bike after a balance bike. The advice was very helpful and they tried to source the required Frog bike to help out Father Christmas.
Unfortunately, due to availability, they were unable to find one for us. We managed to source one but On Your Bike have built it for us.
Excellent service, excellent advice. Lovely people. We will be back!

Most interesting that the one word that appears in a number of your reviews is 'rude'. A word that most definitely applies to a certain chap, who certainly didn't look like he's been on a bike in a while, and who I can only assume is a member of the Sutton Coldfield staff. Not the best advert for any business, especially one selling bicycles and promoting the benefits thereof.
It really was toss a coin as to who was the most ignorant and rude - the driver of your delivery lorry, or the guy in your store, who ignored my simple request.
For the record, the space outside your shop is a public road, on which I'd parked for ten minutes, only to return and find a lorry obstructing my vehicle. The driver was just getting out of his cab when I asked him, nicely, if he could possibly move it a few feet forward to allow me to leave. He stormed passed me, effectively telling me 'tough' you'll have to wait. I followed him into your store to find that your member of staff clearly found it amusing. I went outside to take photos and the pair of them came out a couple of minutes later.
At this point, I began videoing.
I would like to lodge a formal complaint against the driver, and am simply requesting the name of the company that the driver (he threatened me with violence) works for.

Excellent bike rental service. I have used On Your Bike London bridge for 2 years in a row and it is super convenient for me to rent a high quality Trex 520 touring bike for a weeks touring. Easy to book online, can select size and pedal type and the bikes are in perfect condition and with great racks for touring. The gearset, disc breaks and mud guards are also perfect for touring.

I went to the store about four times, and two of those I had an horrible experience with a particular member of staff.
After spending £1,300 on a bike, I've got this staff making fool of me and saying unpleasant words.

After a few months, I came back to the store to report an issue with the bike. This same staff just told me to go away and read the manual in a very grumpy way. Really?
Is it the customer service you give to somebody who spent more than 1k in your store, and just got the bike serviced by your team fews weeks prior to the issue?

There is no way you treat customers like this!

Terrible store. Claim scott dealer, they are not. Rang for part on £4k bike purchased from them, Kid who sounded like he couldn't care less said "We can't get parts, you need to google it" On more investigation they are not a scott dealer and have no access to maintenance parts, and certainly no willing to help you. Westbrook cycles ARE a scott dealer and after ringing them found the part, checked the socket size for me in the workshop and delivered next day.. night and day.

This could be a great place to have your bike serviced but unfortunately my bike's headset was adjusted incorrectly and was wobbly. Also, there's one member of staff who works on the till who has the most appalling attitude and when I handed my bike him, he flipped it onto the back wheel so aggressively it bounced all over the shop. He's very unhelpful. The other guys seem really pleasant but he spoils it.

I bought a adult gravel bike bike for my teen daughter about a week ago, I was slightly nervous parting with £1250 as she has not really taken to cycling in the past. I tried a number of shops and the East Grinstead / Felbridge store had what I was considering, along with offering friendly, unpressured service from Kirstie. The choice came down to two different models, we were given good objective advice and we committed to an Orro gravel bike.
My daughter rode it today, after an initial period of frustration, she was riding the gulledge and some trails around Crawley down and came home saying she loved the new bike - Well done to the On Your Bike team!
Next purchase: spd pedals and cycling shoes for her!

Avoid the shop! buy from somewhere else.
The staff are rude and impatient. I wish i'd never spent my £13000 with them but the only place that had the bike I wanted. :0(

I rented a bike from them to cycle from London to Birmingham and back on the Grand Union Canal. They were helpful and the Trek 520 bike was excellent. Not a single puncture or mechanical problem, despite a 6 day, 400k trip over thorns, nettles, brambles, mud and so on.

Sons bike went into sutton coldfield store with snapped rear derailed, they fixed it and charged £130.00. Two weeks later it snapped again causing rear wheel to seize and could have caused a nasty accident.
Chain link either hadn't been checked, it either needed replacing or hadn't been replaced properly.
Being a 13 year old he lost the receipt so shop requested he pay for the same repair again.

Great guys, helpful as always

Not a bad shop, but not a great one either. I think they try hard to give good customer experience, but in my case, they let me down with an after sales issue. I feel this was due to doubting my integrity and talking to me in a condescending manner, not acting in my best interest and inconsistencies of what was said between staff and management.

If only they listened to the customer and held back on thinking they know everything, an example is being told by the owner that because I had trouble releasing a £90 Abus lock I had bought from them, that I should 'lube' it, even though it had only been used twice - the problem turned out to be a bit of loose swarf in the barrel!

This critique isn't meant to damage, but to highlight how good customer relationship can sour due to poor after sale communication.
