Monthly I make a transfer from my Venmo account into my savings account, but for two months ( Dec + Jan) I received a fee despite the transfer being made. The rep and their manager insisted this fee is always charged and that's incorrect. When I initiated the transfer in Venmo as a regular 2-3 day transfer, no fee. But the instant deposits show up in the account as Real Time Payment Deposit VENMO vs External Deposit VENMO CASHOUT. The cashouts incurred no charge. The rep insisted I was wrong until I pointed out the difference. They then told me refunds aren't usually given but did a one time return for one but not both of the fees.
At this point, I am not sure this is the account for me. It's not my main account and don't feel like playing games every month for an account that doesn't even have any interest for my troubles. My other accounts at capital one or greenwood has no fees and interest in the checking and in the basic savings with no limits. I opened this during the pandemic trying to bank black but at this point, I've spent more in fees than I've saved.

I don’t like how the Secure Credit Card works. The bill pay was not working right, and payments had issues with the Secure Credit card, so they closed my Secure Credit card account and the deposit I put down. They said I must pay the card off to get my deposit. No other bank is like that. A secure credit card account allows you to open a savings account, and the deposit amount is the amount of your credit limit. If you close the account and the amount you owe is less than the amount you put down as a deposit, you get your money back. OneUnited Bank The whole thing is that I’m you don’t get your money back to you pay off your balance but banks usually use your deposit to pay off your balances but not this bank. They said that’s their secure credit card policy. They never refund me my late payment fees because of the bill pay issues. I asked them to even open back my security credit card they never get back to me. I strongly recommend you should not open up a secure credit card with this bank is plenty of banks and other ways to help build your credit and get your deposit back. This T. Hill

Honestly i applied for a secured credit card since last week been trying to put 2 small deposit on link and it wont allow me and the 2 rep haven't been able to help. CAn anyone help me

I have been banking with one United Bank for about 5 years now so far I have come to love one united and they're banking practices everyone that I have spoken with in customer service have been really kind and respectful also very knowledgeable and helping me with any issue that I may have had
They have added some new features to one united such as cash please
Loan that has been very helpful and tough times I would recommend this thing to anyone I feel that it is a good thing and it has something for everyone
