The physical shop/cafe has been closed for ages, despite the stated hours on Google Maps - so don't waste your time on a trip to Long Melford for this (apart from this suspicious and deeply unpleasant outlet though, it's actually a nice village)..the recent reviews about the venue are all fake and related to the far right networks of the owner.

I saw this company recommended on Twitter / X so ordered a book from them. The owner Jo confirmed by email straight away and the book arrived very well packaged very quick. I couldn't be happier and am delighted to support a small business ahead of a chain store.

Absolutely love this bookshop. Full of unexpected finds and actual genuine areas of interest rather than the handful of approved topics you get given in Waterstones. Great to spend an afternoon just browsing and maybe leaving with a gem. Staff always very pleasant and helpful too

trust pilot deleted my last review because i didnt have a reciept, well trust pilot (f.... you). the best book shop i have visited and purchasdd from, fantastic range of books other shops are too cowardly to sell

We must stand up for our rights, against the totalitarians, the ones that move and think like religious fanatics, hellbent on making everyone see and think as they do! The words nazi, fascist and racist have been watered down to the point of losing meaning by these lunatics, these are words that shouldn’t be misappropriated and shouldn’t lose meaning but alas. The pen is mightier than the sword, grateful for places that stand tall against the self aggrandizing lunatics that would see the destruction of all that is good in our society ❤️🙏 I will be in England soon and hope to be able to visit!

Superb bookshop with very knowledgeable staff. If they don't have your book of choice in stock they will order it and even do deliveries.

I am brown, walked in and she started to look at me funny. The reason this place has good reviews isnt because the service or books are good but because the far right and neo nzis have rated her this high. Aside from that I started to try and have small talk but she just kept ignoring me and pushing me aside. I would not recommend you come here.
