A really good customer experience

WOW!! Exceptional delivery of a great turnout rug
WOW!!! I saw an advert on FB for Oakfield Direct yesterday (11th Jan 2026), ordered a 6’3” 200g Combo turnout rug at 09:44hrs as per PayPal…and it was delivered before 14:00hrs on 12th Jan, to Essex! Now that is exceptional service, and a great quality rug too. Thank you!

Online order fulfilled as per expectations
The item I ordered was delivered on time and in good condition. I bought it on sale so was pleased with the price paid. I was kept up to date with emails regarding dispatch and delivery (which was via Royal Mail signed for service).

I paid for delivery to arrive at a set time and the royal mail delivery app redirected the parcel to 4 days instead of two if wouldnt let me go back in to re arrange with a neighbour. I emailed Oakfield to explain i really needed the goods and received a short reply saying they saw id already sorted it .
Unhelpful and now ive paid for a service i didnt receive.

The parcel was despatched promptly. Royal Mail attempted to deliver the parcel next day but the customer was not at home to receive the parcel. The customer was then given redelivery/collection options by the Royal Mail app.
Great service let down by carrier
The order process was straightforward. My order was processed and despatched very quickly.
However the performance of Royal Mail delivery service spoiled this. Not only did they not deliver in 48 hours, they claimed that they tried to deliver on day three but could not get access, and then delivered late on day 4 - meaning I spent two days waiting for the delivery.
Such a shame that Oakfield’s excellent performance was let down by this. Otherwise I would have rated 5 stars!

Thanks for clarification, but the Royal Mail tracking stated 48 hour which caused the confusion!

Hello, I am slighly confused by this message as the customer used our free delivery service which is clearly advertised as a 3-5 working day service. At no time did we change this to a 48hr delivery.
